My local doughnut shop. Been going there for years. Owners are always so friendly. Nothing fancy on the outside and inside is a bit busy with signage and flyers. Could use a makeover. My favorite are the apple fritters and maple bars. I usually get a chocolate Nesquik in a bottle as well. Tip: no cards for order under $5. Parking can be very frustrating as they share the corner with a dry cleaners and liquor store. read more

I ordered a hazelnut blended and pointed to the picture and received something completely different. I asked her why it looks different than the picture and she said it's just different. Picture clearly shows it's a hazelnut blended coffee. I had to purchase a "hazelnut coffee." Gave back the white drink, paid for the correct drink, didn't even think to compensate me for the drink they made incorrectly. Instead of making me pay another $5.00, I feel that this establishment could have just made the correct drink that I ordered. It's a shame cause I love their ham and cheese croissants. My husband and I discovered Uncle Joe's Donuts as we were cruising Woodley and decided to satisfy our craving for a sweet... well their cinnamon rolls and especially their buttermilk donuts are the perfect combination of moist and tasty! Yummy! My dad brought in a dozen different doughnuts for the family and he saved his favorite for me to try when I got home from work, the custard-filled chocolate glazed doughnut. So good! Very rich, soft, and delicious after I microwaved it for a few seconds to eat the second half the next morning. The custard was very rich and flavorful. The doughnut wasn't dry. I purchased a dozen donuts on July 31 2020 for about $13 something + credit card fee (which they didn't mention) the total came out $14.20 Today (Ag 7 at 12 ish), I came back ordering the same variety of donuts (Jelly + glazed) and I was told it's $16+. Different person took the order. ??? I told the girl that I was just here last week and I paid less. She said that I was wrong. She asked to see my receipt. I showed her my Amex transaction where I paid $14.20 She wouldn't budge and kept saying I was wrong. Even after complying with HER request to show the past receipt, she still kept saying I was wrong. A dozen donuts for $16+ ? Get out of here. Even Dunkin' don't charge that much. I wanna support small businesses but if they just gonna accuse customers of being wrong even after I show my receipt (AT their request), maybe not. In 2001 Uncle Joe's Donuts had the best Bear Claws around. Because they ha chocolate in the middle and chocolate chip frosting on top. And they were not skimpy on the chocolate inside or the chocolate chip frosting on top. Uncle Joe's Donuts were the only donut shop that put chocolate in and on top of their Bear Claws. If I knew whether they still made them, I would go buy some tomorrow. read more

They have a good selection as well as delicious sandwiches. Parking is somewhat available and even if they're busy they pretty much attend you fast anyways. There are quite a few donut shops in the North Hills area. But damn, they suck! It's super sad when it's cheat day and you end up with a stale, terrible donut. Finally tried this place out and their donuts were really good. I got a chocolate twist and a sugar twist. Both donuts were fresh despite having been bought at noonish-1pm. The chocolate twist was interesting because it was a glazed donut with chocolate on top. It was pretty sweet and decadent, but yummy. And it was cheat day. I also got a thai tea boba for my #honeybunches. I was able to taste it and thought that the milk tea was good but the boba did not taste very fresh. Not like it had gone bad, but definitely not fresh. An older review mentioned that they are cash only. That is no longer true. They do take card but they charge .75 as most donut places that take cards do. Parking was fine when I came in but it got crazy as I was trying to leave with people blocking my way, double parking, etc. read more

The donuts here are amazing!!! So soft, large, fluffy and fresh, even if you eat them the next day. I've tried the buttermilk, Boston cream, and the chocolate chip donut which is fairly unique and hard to find at other donut shops, so I was excited to find it here -- I just wish there were more chocolate chips inside and outside! It's a family owned Donut shop. Me and my siblings go here almost every week just for their Thai ice tea. They have many drink options. You can add boba to any drinks too but sometimes the boba are hard and not soft enough to chew. I did try their donuts before they taste good when they are made fresh. read more

I've been going to this donut shop for over 10 years (I live a block away). They've changed owners once in the last decade, but their past and present staff are friendly, remember your usual orders, and make some of the best donuts and coffee in the valley. They have an excellent selection of donuts (cake, fritters, crullers, holes, creme puffs, jellies, etc.), but they also prepare sandwiches, ice cream, and shakes. I had their sandwiches a couple of times and they really do pack it on. Their coffee. Their coffee. More accurately, their coffee creamer. There's just something about their coffee and non-dairy creamer. I've never had anything quite like it. Smooth and silky...it's amazing. Their parking lot is tiny and it's quite busy, so you may have to park in the street to avoid the morning rush, but it's definitely quite worth it. Everything a coffee shop should be. read more
