    Catfish & Chips Combo $16.99
    Albert W.

One of the few places with good reviews walking distance from my hotel, I opted to get a Fish & Chips combo $18.64 after tax to stay. Provided a Styrofoam (wow) 16 oz cup for fountain drinks, I waited approximately 8 minutes for my order. Received in a basket, a small container of tartar sauce, coleslaw, crispy fries, and two fillets of fried catfish. At first, it was obvious it was generally a fair deal; about 20 bucks for a pretty large serving. The fish seemed well seasoned with the amount of black pepper in the batter, but unfortunately it wasn't. The fish and chips were both fried perfectly, but needed just bit more flavor - a little more salt, paprika, etc. Ketchup was requested as there isn't any available for self serve. I went back to my room with a greasy layer on my clothes - too bad it wasn't a very flavorful layer.

Taste like Zaxby and Canes. Looks like Zaxby and Canes. It is Detroit version of Zaxby and Canes with fried seafood on the menu. Food is good , chicken not as salty as Zaxby. No sweet tea though but fruit punch is sweet enough I like their wall decorations. They hang some old pictures of Detroit when the auto industry was booming

It's ok nothing to write home about. Also for the size of the fingers, and the price...save your money and make your own.

Not going back! These are the wing dings and fries from GFS and they are not cooked fully and charged $16 for 15 wing dings.

I got on yelp and was looking for someplace new to eat at for lunch. I found this place on yelp and was reading all the positive reviews and decided this was where I was going for lunch. I got the four-finger combo. And I got the Starter Combo to bring back for a co-worker. The chicken fingers were tender and juicy. Uncle Joe's sauce was yummy. Everything was delicious. The staff was super nice and friendly. My coworker also thought the chicken fingers and sauce is really good. I am really impressed with this place. Thanks, Uncle Joe!

Loveeeee Uncle Joe's! Great service and amazing chicken! Their chicken tenders are my favorite! Light batter, similar to tempura and chicken is so tender. Not fried to hard and not greasy. I don't eat fried food often but when I get the itch for some I go straight to Uncle Joes. Their fries are delicious too. Nice and crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Loveeee the homemade sauces!!'

Wowww! This place is delicious! My coworkers spoke so highly of it so we ordered it for everyone for lunch. All 5 of us didn't speak while we were eating. The sauces are so good. I got the chicken sandwich combo, I also tried the shrimp and a piece of garlic bread. The bread is soft, like a cloud, with three pieces of chicken tenders inside. The fries are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The food was fresh, flavorful, and worth every calorie! If you've never had it before, it's a must-try!

Great chicken and walkable from the Westin hotel. Staff were friendly and there is plenty of seating inside.

My wife and grandson say it's the best chicken in town. Regrettably I'm gluten free and their non breaded chicken was not good at all.

Rich, perfect texture, with excellent hot fudge. The interior of the restaurant was very clean, including the floors. Everything else was, at best, mediocre. The grilled chicken wasn't even warm, despite the fact that we dined in the restaurant. This might have been because we waited almost 20 minutes for the food. The chicken was full of gristle: tough, stringy bits I couldn't chew through. The person who brought the soft serve to our table was pleasant and efficient, however several other employees were neither pleasant nor efficient. When we first walked in, the two employees at the counter were both on their phones (maybe this was why there was a huge line of people behind us). Neither greeted us, and the one who took our order did so with just a sullen "What do you want?" That person's uniform was covered in thick food spatter. Why didn't management get her a new top? While waiting for employees to get off their phones to take our order, we saw and heard several other employees gathering behind the counter to complain in loud voices about their work. All of these service issues point to a need for *much* more employee training, not to mention closer attention by store management. Would I return to Culvers? Hard to say.

I put in a support ticket online thru the app. Which left me with about $40 spent, no food and no resolution. Popeyes finally replied by email days later. Stating that thru their investigation my order was delivered and I would not be due a refund. What investigation?? There is no photo of the food being delivered to my home. So what did the investigation entail? That is completely unacceptable. I will never as long as I have breath, patron a Popeyes. I ordered a burrito along with chips and salsa, rice, and beans, and everything was absolutely delicious. The rice and beans were especially good--I ended up eating them with my nacho chips and it was the perfect combo. The burrito was packed with flavor and made just right, which is exactly what you hope for when trying a different location. The only small difference I noticed compared to the West Bloomfield location is that there, they brought out the chicken and salsa right away with the drink cup and even provided a container to dump the chips into. That said, it's a very minor detail and definitely doesn't take away from how great the food was here. Overall, Taco Bros on Woodward delivers the same high‑quality, tasty experience I've come to expect. I'll absolutely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for solid, flavorful tacos and burritos.

This is the Royal Oak spot. I ordered the burrito with al pastor, rice, beans, lettuce and tomatoes, ran about $13-14. The al pastor tasted like a marinated rip off, the kind that's cooked on the flat iron once a day and dropped into metal bins with pre-measured scoops, instead of shaved off a traditional trompo (the vertical rotisserie, the spinning top). Not the real thing. One thing I'll give them is the service was A+. The manager or owner was nice and very polite. The wait was fast too, ordered and out in under 6 minutes. Price was decent for what it is. If you're craving "authentic" Mexican it's worth a try, mostly because the quick service options in this area are pretty limited.
