I find this a rock, solid Wendy's. I like being able to order from the kiosk I've only been here a few times at this location, but the quality, with hot fries and nuggets, seems rock solid. I love their spicy nuggets every time I've ordered from this location. They've always been hot and fresh a few times I've been here. I was going from point A to point B and wanted a quick, budget lunch. Then I remembered that I had a Wendy's gift card. I checked Yelp for any Wendy's on my route and this one popped up so I made a stop. I looked over their Value Menu (not Dollar Menu because choices start at $1.29) and chose a Jr. Cheeseburger and a Crispy Chicken Sandwich. The counter staff were friendly and quickly processed my order. The food was ready in a couple of minutes and I decided to eat in the car so that I could quickly get on my way to my destination. Both sandwiches were hot and freshly made and took the edge off my hunger. I didn't use the restroom but the inside and dining area were clean. If I could give 0 stars I would! I recently visited Wendy's drive-thru and had an incredibly disappointing experience with their Pretzel burger. I waited patiently for 5-10 minutes for my order, which included a request for a well-done burger with extra beer cheese. However, upon opening the burger, I was greeted with a mess of sloppy cheese all over the bun and wrapper. Seeking assistance, I asked the drive-thru employee for more napkins and explained the issue. To my surprise, she smirked and laughed at me, showing a complete lack of professionalism and empathy. No apology was offered for the poorly prepared burger. To make matters worse, upon reaching home, I discovered that the meat in my sandwich was partially raw. This was not the first time I encountered such a problem at this particular Wendy's location. The fact that this issue has occurred twice is deeply concerning and raises questions about their food safety practices. Feeling unsatisfied and frustrated, I decided to reach out to Wendy's customer service on Friday, July 7th. I requested a $25.00 gift card as compensation for the consistently poor experience and was informed that a District Manager would contact me. However, it is now July 12th, and I have not received a single phone call, gift card, or refund. This lack of follow-through demonstrates a severe disregard for customer satisfaction. Due to the overall disappointing experience, unprofessional behavior from the drive-thru employee, and the lack of response from Wendy's customer service, I have made the decision not to return to this Wendy's location. I find it necessary to report this unacceptable experience to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to ensure that other customers are aware of these issues. And also the Health Department. Sadly, this is my fourth complaint and my first review, what's even worse this isn't even the worst Wendy's that I've been to. Sunday morning 2 AM. I was on my way home from work order the mail off. The Wendy's app got to the restaurant. I was the only one there in the drive-through. The employee was at the window, talking to other employees and walked away from the window three times before asking me what I wanted. I told him I had a mobile order. He told me to pull it to the window And over 25 minutes later I finally get my food, but it was a DoorDash order because the employee who told me to move forward, never put my order in employee at the window. Thought I was DoorDash and handed me a bag and I opened the bag and seen it wasn't my food because I was looking for my frosty And he informed me that he didn't see my order now I gave him back a open bag and he sealed it back as to give it out to the correct person. I ordered a crabby patty meal. It came with a crabby, patty, burger a frosty and a fry. They informed me that they didn't have the frosty because the frosty machine was broke.. I got cold fries so essentially I paid $11.49 for a burger. I asked for a refund and they refused. Told me I need to come to see the manager in the morning. I came back in the morning and they told me the manager wouldn't be there until Monday. I shouldn't have to do this much running around to get a refund. The employees are poorly trained. It's hard to advocate a higher wage when they're not doing the job at the wage they're making now. I called corporate and they told me someone will call me back in a day or two and that they were issued me a refund. No apology no refund no call from corporate. It is safe to say that they will be little to no chance of me ever returning to this restaurant and I will tell this many people as I can to stay away. They must have an interesting business motto to keep customers from coming to the restaurant. Corporate may want to get a new manager because apparently this manager does not know how to manage respectable employees. read more

Ugh. I checked in here as never been to this location and was so looking forward to eating a single burger! We absolutely could not tell if the lobby was open so we entered the long drive thru line. The car in front of is kept beeping their horn so who knows how long they were waiting. After about four minutes, the line had not moved and a few cars left the line. This Wendys is VERY near my work location. It used to be good. Friendly staff, meals were always correct. However for the past year or so, every time I go for convenience sake, it bites me in the butt. We've gotten orders where whole items are missing or completely wrong. If I could give zero stars I most certainly would. It wasn't so much a good issue but a customer service issue. I stopped by around midnight and ordered a #7 with a strawberry lemonade no ice. The night manager taking orders was the rudest person on planet earth. She was rude in responding they ran out of strawberry lemonade so order an all natural lemonade. Still with no ice. We sometimes stop at this Wendy's right before hitting the highway. Never had an issue with them over the past decade or so. Last night must have been the first time we went inside to order. I noticed the subtle Arts & Crafts influence in the decor. What really got my attention is that it has been YEARS since I have seen broccoli and cheddar potatoes offered at Wendy's. I thought maybe the company was only offering the measly sour cream & chives potato any longer. None of the Wendy's in my county offer the full line of potatoes. Oh, and this was not a tiny, dry potato. It was a nice one. Score! I often get a small chili and a potato, and then mix the two together to make my own chili potato, but I noticed that there was a chili potato on the menu. My husband showed me his chicken sandwich. The crispy chicken patty was sticking out past the bun. No skimpy portions here! The Lions game was on one of the TVs. They had a pair of the soda dispensing machines that can give you combos of flavors. I'd never tried it before. I kept pushing the glass against the bar. Ice came out each time. This Wendy's should be shut down. I just went there 15 minutes ago and ordered carry out. When I got home 5 minutes later and unwrapped the order I observed the following: single hamburger was apparently precooked and reheated, almost black in color but not burned - overall appearance very dried out and unappetizing. Taste was blah. Could not eat this. Also ordered a fish sandwich and fries. This was revolting and I love fish. This fish filet was also apparently precooked and then reheated. I took one bite and noticed this totally chewy and hard edge crust then the fish inside had a very foul taste and odor. The fries were not fresh either. They had been sitting under a heat lamp and were limp, soggy and had a strange bitter taste. I tried to be objective but there is absolutely no excuse for food this bad. Drive thru was surprisingly fast! Order taker was very nice and clear. Order was correct, they gave out the wrong food to the car in front of me. Guessing the cashier was new. Seeing I've worked in fast food I would of liked for the girls to have a hair tie on if not a hair net just to ensure no hair in food..but as for me I was satisfied good service. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I ordered a "veggie burger" (burger without the meat for most fast food places) and they got it without the typical long conversations and suggestions of a grilled cheese that usually occurs. Unfortunately what I received looked like a burger had already had a beef patty on it before it was peeled off. Yesterday afternoon, I placed my order and gave the girl at the window (2) $5 bills. She came back to the window and told me to pull up to the window. So I pulled up to the window thinking that they were gonna give me my change there when they gave me my food. When I mentioned that I didn't get my change, the manager was very rude telling me that the girl said that she gave me the money already. Then she finally said, "I'm gonna give you the money" very sarcastically like she was doing me a favor and she had a look that clearly stated she did not believe me.. It was my right to get my change but she was talking to me like I was a criminal. I told her that it wasn't about the money as I actually don't need the money but it's the principle. When she was going to get the change, I left before she returned because I was so infuriated as she was not doing me a favor by giving me change and because I had just picked up a cake for my daughter's birthday and I needed to get back home for the party. I am a person who has found a wedding ring at a batting cage and turned it in to the business owner so it could get back to the rightful owner. This past Spring, I came home from shopping once and found that my four-year-old son had put an expensive fishing reel in the double stroller. I marched him back to the store and made and give it back to the manager and apologize. Over the years, I have had many many tests of my integrity and have passed them all. Fortunately, I'm in a position where there is no way that I could ever imagine stealing anything of any amount, but especially $4.70. I don't think that these attributions make me special. I believe that that's just how it's supposed to be. I surely don't like the insinuation that I'm doing something underhanded when all I'm actually trying to do is get my change that was owed to me. I was absolutely certain beyond the shadow of a doubt that she had not returned with my change but because I know I'm not perfect and I would hate to make a mistake and make a false statement about someone regarding their job, I checked all my pockets and all over my car to see if I could find any bills or change. Their drive-up service is pretty horrible. Half the time they cannot hear you, so you repeat yourself about three times. Perhaps two empty soup cans and a string would be a better fix. Also, there is this large cement pylon looking thing that almost blocks the first drive up window, if you are not careful you will hit it - spoken from experience. I also find the staff impersonal and rude. But hey, it's fast food! P.S. I've never had a problem with the quality of food thus far. read more

This Wendy's location just recently opened, I assume it is run/owned by the people who had the previous location just north of 12 Mile, as that one closed a few months ago and now this location is open, just south of 12 Mile. I love Wendy's. I rarely have a bad experience at any location. I was the only person in line at the drive thru at about 11:45am and my order was taken quickly and I got my food quickly and it was hot and delicious. A couple of highlights - they have the new fancy Dip & Squeeze ketchup packets (I think all locations may have this) you get 3x as much ketchup as traditional packets!!! This store also has Coca Cola Freestyle which offers 100+ drink choices, so if you want vanilla Sprite Zero or orange Seagram's diet ginger ale (for a hot second I saw Seagram's and thought I was going to be able to get a 7 & 7 with my chicken sandwich, but it's just the pop, not the whiskey)- you got it. You can also get a combination that might actually taste good, but I wanted to highlight the weird ones. read more
