Terrible service. Waited for 22 minutes after I ordered only to find out the order could not be found. Had to get a refund so I could make my flight. No explanation, no sorry about that. Super experience

Entree salad compared to a water bottle.

Don't get an entree salad. Total rip-off even by airport standards. I got a Greek salad that was smaller than most side salads. Nothing like the picture. I only gave them a 2 because when I complained the manager gave me a 2nd one. They made it right, but giving others a heads up.

Pretty good pizza although long wait times. Prices weren't horrible for airport food. I got the margherita pizza and although there's dried basil, it was fine. They have a nice barstool waiting area so you can watch the pizzas being made. It was a tease but pretty cool.

This could possibly be the worst experience I have ever had. My pizza from ordering at the kiosk to receiving it was exactly 1 hour. If they were super busy and the kitchen was backed up, that wouldn't be that bad but new people came in 5, 10, 20, 40 minutes after me and received their pizzas. Two people had to get refunds because they had to catch a flight. One lady had to have her pizza remade three times and got all three before I got my one. I asked the kitchen mulitiple times and they just kept saying it's in the oven. Finally after 50 minutes the cook asked if she can see my receipt and turns out. My pizza wasn't in the oven, they never made it! Ten minutes later, I had my pizza. They get a 1 because first they completely block out and ignore their customers. Then when you get their attention, they lie to their customers, not having an idea of what is actually going on or what is in the oven. Then when they realize they screwed up they make your pizza, right in front of you, they continue lying to me that my pizza is in the oven it's just moving really slow, which again is a lie. They could have just been honest owned their shit and I would have respected it instead they lie with no explanation for why it's taking for ever but "the oven is slow"?!?! Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. There is a reason all of their locations are closed except the airport.

Traveling through the Atlanta airport my connection was in the T terminal. I was thinking ' oh good that's the good food terminal , sushi and other good stuff. After I got there ... oh Hell no, this ain't the good food terminal. Walked up and down the whole terminal .... Dunkin' , Subway, TGI Fridays ( yuk).... I ended up finding what is probably the best option in T terminal... Maddio's Pizza. Pizza was actually pretty good , I was very relieved. I have a disdain for bad food... thus , I rely on Yelp to steer me. Ok so pizza was good... personal pizza for about $14. Ambiance ... no. Service ... what you'd expect from a food court type operation which this is. Pizza was made fresh though and I got it in about 15 min. ( see pics) I really don't see any other choice worth while if you're in the T terminal. I would eat here again if I had to... but I'd prob try to find food at another terminal if I had time

The pizza was the bomb i was able to walk up to the kiosk and order my food with a easy , they had many different options for you to choose from such as salads , pizza, and papas i think that's what it's called which is what I had it was not a regular pizza but it was very good i had bbq sauce on it with sausage, chicken and ham omg i think it was the sauce that made it much better who would of thought bbq was better on pizza lol but any who it was full of meats and the wait time was a little min so be ready to wait and listen for your name to be called for your food. Even though i didn't order a salad i probably recommend you do some reason everyone ordered one but me next time.

I am a huge pizza lover and they didnt disappoint. A great less than $10 meal. I love the cheesiness and it was cooked to order. This place is located inside the Hartfield Airport in ATL. It is a cool spot to stop and charge your phone or send some emails on your laptop while waiting for your food. It is clean here for an airport and they have charging stations everywhere. There are high tops and sit down seated areas

If Maddio is your Uncle, please slap him for me at your next reunion. Pizza came out slow as hell. I'm at the airport trying to make a flight and they act like it's an enormous inconvenience when I inquire about my pizza after a half hour. The two gals making the pizzas would rather be anywhere else. $14 salad was microscopic. I honestly thought they gave us the wrong thing because of how unbelievably small it was. The pizza is wrapped in a then paper that the grease immediately permeates. Do yourself a favor and run.

Pretty sure this is the only less than 5 star review I'm giving for this trip to Atlanta. And it's a pizza place in the airport so Atlanta is doing well!! The minus one star is mostly because it takes so d*mn long. After ordering at the kiosk, it takes about 30 min to get your food (unless it's a premade salad in the fridge). Also they call the numbers randomly so you can't tell if it's almost your turn to get the food. But I really appreciated that they had huge ovens and pretty much every pizza was made to order. I'd highly recommend that they remove their custom orders and do some sort of premaking to shorten wait times. Especially as an airport establishment, you really can't expect people to wait 30 min for their food. The pizza itself was pretty good. Crust was soft and flavorful. Toppings were in abundance to the point where i was making a big mess. Solid.

I got to create my own pizza. Mozzarella, bacon, red onions, spinach with tomato basil sauce. It comes in a white paper slip in bag which is kind of cool. By the time I walked and got me a water and came back and found a chair my pizza was done in about 10 minutes. Very fast very hot yummy yummy Pizza! Best airport pizza I have ever had! Uncle Maddio's is one of the better fast-casual dining options at Terminal T in the Atlanta airport. Orders are placed at one of three kiosks at the counter, with lots of customizations available for pizza pies (even dairy-free cheeses available for vegans and the lactose-intolerant). All make-your-own pies include three toppings (choice of cheese being one of them), with a few that require a nominal added cost. Even with the oven cranking out pizzas at a decent pace, there was a small wait of about ten to fifteen minutes at peak dinnertime. Since I never expect much from airport fare, I was surprised at how tasty it was. The crust is coated with cornmeal, which helps to create lots of texture on an already crispy crust. The cheese was a little oilier and drippier than I would've liked, but it all came together for a very decent meal. We also liked our Greek salad well enough, though the volume per cost value was as low as expected (for over ten dollars, the salad we received was laughably petite). Figuring out where and how to pick up our salad was also a bit of a head-scratcher at first. We were told by the kiosk to "pick it up at the counter," which was unmanned since all the workers were at the far end, busily preparing hot pies. Eventually, we had to stop one of them so that she could walk over to the fridge and pluck one of the prepackaged containers out of the fridge for us. Uncle Maddio's shares the same dining space as Grindhouse, with plenty of bar and table-seating. For added convenience, there's a restroom tucked away in the back of the dining space.

I am blown away as to how good my pizza was! It is everything airport food usually is not: affordable, fast, and delicious. Shout out to the 2 ladies working today (October 21). They were making every pizza meticulously. I could not believe that $13 could be so tasty. I got the margarita with mushrooms, extra cheese, and balsamic glaze. I'm telling you right now, it is more than worth the trip to T terminal. The space also has plenty of tables, giant TVs, charging areas, and a bar next door. I vow that if I have some layover time I will stop by every time. read more

Food was okay, service was abysmal. No napkins at the end of their counter, when I mentioned to employee behind the counter she dismissively pointed to a napkin dispenser in the food court area, when I pointed out to her that it was empty also, she once again dismissively gestured to the remainder of the airport to find napkins. read more

Not that I was expecting excellence at an airport food place, but this was exceptionally bad. They had 4 people "working" (gossiping with each other) for about 15 minutes straight before another man came back from break. Took ~35 min to get a pizza that should take 5 min tops. read more

After I ordered I asked someone if I could get some ice and the young lady said they didn't have ice right there but a few steps down the other restaurant had some. I have to have ice with my water or I won't drink it. As I was sitting at my table with my luggage and my food I decided I would drink my water after I ate and had one less thing to carry. Miss Lisa, an awesome lady, had overheard the conversation and she came to me and asked for my water jug and took it and filled it with ice. Thank you Miss Lisa. I appreciate the kindness. read more

At Atlanta international Airport. At 7am had only one worker. With a long line waiting for food. Paid for a fountain drink never received. The gentleman, the only employee, was working hard. Poor management. The Airport starts getting very busy at 5 am. Did have good food. read more

It was a long walk from gate 1 to gate 10 after already having arrived internationally at another terminal but this pregnant woman wanted pizza. Thankfully it was worth it! Emmanuel (I think?) the cashier was very helpful and invited me to be rung up by him personally instead of at the self serve kiosk. I ordered and his staff immediately got my pizza ready to bake, and it was in my hands within maybe 10 minutes tops. It had generous toppings, tasted great, and was thankfully still plenty hot once I got back to my gate to try it. Really great value honestly! My small cheese pizza came out quickly and I enjoyed it on the plane ride. It retained its heat, the crust was crunchy and very tasty - a garlic & salty taste and I really liked the flavor of the sauce. As I was waiting around for my pizza the employee or manager went around to tables asking for feedback and making sure people were enjoying their pizzas. I've never seen that customer care before at an airport, I was really impressed. read more

When I ordered here it was late and I can tell it was close to end of the shift for the staff. My flight was delayed and I believe they stayed open slightly longer due to delayed flights but I'm not 100% sure. I originally was going to order from the kiosk but a guy told me that it wasn't printing out receipts so he would take my order. Once I ordered I did see there was a mix up with someone's food and a customer may have grabbed someone else's food and another pizza was unclaimed as well. After I received my food I went back to the terminal near my gate and saw that my calzone was not a true calzone and more of an open faced one. The bag itself wasn't quite the best thing to carry and eat out either. For a calzone it would be best to have a box as a take away since it may require a fork and knife and there doesn't tend to be many tables by the gates. I also noticed that one of the items that I ordered was not in my calzone. I ordered red onions and it was not with my food but I was charged for it. Since I had to board my flight and wasn't close to the restaurant I didn't go back to tell them about what was missing. Overall the food was pretty good and it had great flavor but would have preferred it to a true calzone and have everything that I ordered to be with my food. read more

Good concept but poor execution. 3 kiosks on the side to place order and then it printed a receipt. We waited for our numbers to be called but it took a good 20 plus minutes. Meanwhile we didn't get our drinks so my husband went to check and was told we were suppose to slide to left after ordering from kiosks and show the receipt to one of the staff to get our drinks or salad. There was no signage or info from the kiosks to explain the next step and there wasn't even a staff available after ordering so we didn't know. Then we sat down and waited for the lady to scream our number and full name all the on the other end for our food. It was chaotic. The pizza wasn't all that good. The Italian sausage they used was quite fatty. Won't be coming back. read more

Good pizza, decent price for wine. Emmanuel, Sade, and Kathy did a good job of managing the crowds and getting orders out in a decent amount of time. Emmanuel called out to people in line the estimated time of receiving food which was helpful for people to determine if they had enough time to eat before boarding. Definitely one of the better eating experiences I've had at an airport. Lots of seating and TVs for entertainment. read more

Better than airport / mall pizza!!! Made fresh and designable to your own taste Pre made salad was eh, after a 10 minute wait. My mushroom , green pepper and onion came out hot and delish! The self serve kiosk should be avoided at all costs, it takes way longer than telling cashier what you want I will come back, especially in AtL T terminal where other options suck Pleasant surprise!!!! read more

My Wife and I was at the Atlanta Airport on Sunday December 4th and decided to stop in at Maddio's Pizza. The restaurant was very busy. I placed my order; while waiting for the order, I inquired with three different employees (Lisa, Brianna and Emanuel). They provided the best service a traveler can ask for. They were extremely kind and very helpful helping to make sure that my order was what i expected. They went over and beyond because i didn't expect the high level services that was rendered. I am a fan of Uncle Maddio's and was happy to find a location in Terminal T at ATL airport. My biggest complaint was the ordering kiosk isn't prominently identified as the "order here" location, so I stood around near the kiosks with employees paying me no mind until I figured it out. My Steak and Blue pizza came out within 10 minutes of ordering and was perfectly prepared. I also ordered a draft beer - note that they'll call you back to the kiosk area to verify your idea before pouring your beer, which makes sense, and I got my beer about 5 minutes before my pizza was ready. Staff were efficient if not overly attentive. The woman who was completing and calling the orders did a good job of calling order numbers above the din of the old school love songs being screamed from the ceiling. Four stars! read more

Ok - I don't get the other reviews? My pizza was really really good. It did take a while so it is definitely not Pizza Hut if you are in a hurry. But the beer was good and my supreme pizza was good too. They had soccer playing and I got to zone out and watch sports with a beer and good pizza. I would come here again. read more

You have to TRY to make tomato sauce and cheese have no taste. This essentially comes from cheap ingredients. I know there isn't much else to eat in this terminal so, good luck. read more

Just had a quick bite at this place. They need to know they are at the airport and people need to board the plane in a hurry. Took almost 30 minutes to make a pizza. No indication how much is the wait. And the machines taking the orders are mostly broken. On top of that the food is just awful. I saw passenger waited for too long and then took the pizza and rushed to the gate only to drop the pizza on her way. read more

This location has a worthless menu on the wall being as the kiosks you have to use to order do not have the same options so you're forced to order only whole pizzas. The employees look dead inside w no emotion which really fits in with the entire Atlanta Airport. 0 stars really read more

Shout out to Manuel and Miss Lisa for being there for me when I needed them the most. I had a large order at the last minute of 20 hamburgers and 20 Cheeseburgers..... They were instrumental in getting the order prepared for me within an hour and saved the day when there was a hiccup in providing food for a group of travelers..... once again thank you for all your help and I recommend Maddio's when you come through Atlanta Hartsfield Airport. read more

The staff is also so sweet with great energy. There's a full bar with great drink prices, and I still need to try the honey wine. One thing to note is that the food is made to order and does take a little time (like 20 minutes or so), but when you dig in and start eating you understand why. I will wait every time, no problem. My favorite dish is the Fish Dullet and my favorite side is the brown lentils. My partner gets the Awaze pretty much every time. This amazing restaurant located within proximity of the airport is truly a gem in the Metro Atlanta area. Not sure of their outdoor intentions as it was fairly cool when I visited, and look forward to checking out again in the warmer months. Parking is available at no cost, with ADA compliant entry. From the moment I entered, I was impressed with the art in various forms throughout the restaurant. This include included pictures, sculptures, and even a traditional Ethiopian coffee set up. Our party was fairly large and sat to the right of the entrance where tables were pushed together to form one table with chairs on one side and bench on the opposite. I did notice that the other areas had tables that were spaced in the very larger room, as well as a bar area with television and would appear to be an area for music/Dj set up. The food was amazing as well. Amazing is the word of the day regarding ballet! I ordered the Bole Awaze Tims signature platter with lamb, other meat options were available. I also ordered the Timatim fitfit salad, a side of beets and had the hot spice tea as my beverage. The portions were ample and included a basket of njeri, the traditional spongy accompaniment used to eat the contents of your meal. The Timatim salad was extremely good, and a meal in itself. My food was seasoned well, and I enjoyed each and every bite! My tea was delicious too! A traditional us brand teabag was placed on the side for addition, but not necessary at all. The spices which I believe included cardamom were more than sufficient and truly warmed me adequately. Despite having an a large party, our server managed all orders like a champion, and made sure that no one had to guess on menu selections. She provided information in educated in the process. The overall vibe was that everyone was impressed and enjoyed their meals. As previously mentioned, I look forward to returning to share the extremely personable ambience and great food selections with others. Definitely a great location to celebrate a special occasion or for a delicious meal with a long layover.

I also really enjoyed the ribs--they were very tender and flavorful. It came with collard greens which I didn't enjoy as much but the other dishes were so good and I ate so much that I didn't mind. I also saw plenty of couples celebrating milestones together so it definitely makes for a cute night out if you're in the area looking to have a nice dinner with your partner. There are beautiful paintings hung all over, and the decorations that make you feel like you've stepped into a little part of Mexico. Atmosphere is super casual and comfortable. Food and drinks Now the menu here is massive. Take your time and prepare to be overwhelmed, because everything sounds amazing. Here's a breakdown of what we got each time. 1st visit - El Rey Del Taco Parrillada It's meant to be shared with two people, and comes with a pound of beef ribs, your choice of chicken or al pastor meat, six shrimp wrapped in bacon, with melted cheese and chorizo, plus tortillas and charro beans. It was just as delicious as it sounds. 2nd visit - Tacos The pastor con queso and the shrimp al pastor with cheese, onions, and al pastor sauce. You're welcome. 3rd visit - Fajitas Fajitas Texanas, with steak chicken and shrimp. There are 7 different combinations of sides that you can get. We got white rice, salad, and charro beans. This can also be shared, which my wife and I did. Speaking of the charro beans, they have the best beans I have ever had. For drinks I got the supreme regular mango margarita. My wife got strawberry. Both great. Service Food came out fast, but other than that the service was a little slow. Our waitress was nice, but it did seem that she forgot about us for a little while. The food was so good that I forgave it, plus at the end of the day I got everything I needed. Verdict If you're looking for amazing food and drinks, this is absolutely the place to get it. It just might end up being your favorite too! Until next time!

I never write a review about a company but I was so moved by a young woman name Lisa Washington this evening I just had to. My flight was delayed in Atlanta today as well as a few other passenger.I watched her assist three passenger with so much compassion and care .she carried there food to the table brought them there drinks laughed and joked with them. But what touch me is when she walked over to me just to say hi and how am I doing, I told her that I was stressed and really just wanted to go home.she took the time to talk me and we found out we are from the same state and county we shared grandkid pictures and she made me smile.For a brief moment she made feel like I was home. Thank you Lisa and you pizza was excellent. I don't know if she will ever see this but if you moved back to New Jersey I was serious you a have a manager spot waiting for you at our company. read more

This was the best ending to my family's vacation we had a layover in Atlanta and had the best pizza we ever tasted. But the part was the amazing customer service and the honestly that one of the employees showed her name is Lisa Washington, this woman helped me place my order brought our drinks to the table and our food. But what touch my heart is the fact I left my credit are in there machine .she hunted me down just to return my property. I may be the first person excited his flight was delayed, it allowed me to come across uncle Maddio's the food was absolutely amazing, way better than you'd expect for a airport restaurant, and quite possibly the best pizza in Atlanta. The best seating area in the terminal and top notch service. They have unique combinations I'd never think would go great on pizza but in all honesty it's good enough to switch airlines to make sure I'm in this terminal. I'll be dreaming about this food on my flight. So good I downloaded yelp just to let people know if you are departing or arriving in Atlanta you must check this place out. First of they need to re calibrate there machine cause the pizza is undercooked. So much to point where cheese doesn't even melt. Smdh... Also the young, rude and ghetto lady at the service counter. She has her phone in her back pocket and headphones on. Having full blown conversations over her phone while on the floor. Bending over the counter talking being rude to guest and basically ignoring them . Then when being asked for something she rolls her eyes. I'm in this business and I would fire her today!!!! Found them in my way to my gate at the airport. Sometimes airport food is disappointing, but I was very hungry so I took a chance today. Not disappointed! The ingredients were fresh and the pizza was great! Fast service...got the salad and drink right away and the pizza came out fresh and hot, with the cheese stretchy (important to me). When I told the nice manager (Emmanuel) that I was very happy with my experience, he told me that the helpful gal at the register was Yamma, and the cook that made my great pizza was Destiny. Dajah and Emmanuel did an awesome job and made my mothers day and my children's first trip on a plane special. We were told that food orders would take 20-25 minutes which is all we had before we need to board our flight. This is a nice option in the North terminal at ATL - you can make your own pizza (I got the supreme, it's pretty good!), and there's a ton of chargers available for your devices. I would always walk near this area and had a delayed flight so I decided to eat near my gate, the service was prompt and the pizza was $10 for a nice portion! I had a pepperoni pizza that hit the spot. I would definitely stop and try if you have a taste for pizza. read more
