I never thought I'd type this sentence in my whole life.. "I had a five star breakfast at P.F Chang's!" I had a 2 hour layover in the Atlanta airport, and I just wasn't in the mood to deal with the noise and hectic nature of the food court. It was 6:30 a.m., and most of the full service breakfast restaurants weren't even open yet. I jumped on ChatGPT which told me that on the second floor of terminal A next to a Delta lounge, I could find PF Chang's, which is known to have an excellent breakfast. I was skeptical, but willing to try. We were seated at a table that was managed by Natasha, a woman who had no reason to be as happy, energetic, and competent as she was, given that it was still before 7:00 a.m. We started with coffee, and I had the scrambled egg bowl with some delicious eggs, fresh toast, and a potato and pepper mix. The food was great, the service was superior, and the setting was much quieter than it would have been in the main terminal A. Pricing was fractionally higher than it would have been in the food court, but not significantly different. The only employee not fully engaged appear to be the hostess, who just didn't have a very welcoming attitude. I'm not going to let one person ruin what was otherwise a perfect experience. I almost look forward to returning to ATL now that I know the secret escalator that leads straight to PF Chang's. read more

ATL Terminal A P.F. Chang's Review The food at P.F. Chang's is always great, and my server was incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating. Unfortunately, my experience with the manager, Mr. Charles (I believe that was his name), left me disappointed. I had a long connection and asked how long I could stay since the Sky Club line was extremely long. I was told 1.5-2 hours because this is a restaurant, not a lounge. I understood that. After sitting by the window outside the restaurant for about 30 minutes, I asked if I could have a booth. I was initially offered a half booth. When there were a plethora of full booths available, I asked if I could take one. The response and hesitation made me feel as though I was doing something wrong for simply asking especially since I saw other guests taking their time at tables. I completely understand that P.F. Chang's is a restaurant and not an airport lounge, and I respect the need to manage seating. However, the interaction could have been handled with a little more warmth and hospitality. My server was wonderful, the food was delicious, and I'll definitely return. Hopefully, my next experience will include the same great service from the management team that I received from my server. read more

Unfortunately the Wonton Soup is the worst I have ever tasted completely flavor less even chili sauce didn't make it any better. The chicken lettuce wraps were excellent as was the Kung pow shrimp. Let me start with service. I generally sit in the bar area, since I fly solo most of the time. Ricky, the bartender, is nothing but amazing! He recognizes me every time I get to dine in before a flight, but he knows all of his regulars! He's very attentive, kind and professional! I tend to stay with what I know, but he's always giving me his suggestions and recommendations. Did I mention he was amazing? When I need to stop for a bite, I always come here, just to see Ricky! Of course, I love the food! The Mongolian Beef is one of my favorites, paired with a red Sangria. So tasty! I love sitting at the bar just so I can chat with Ricky, but when that area is full, sitting at the window is fun! You get to watch all the ramp operations fun! read more

Service not good--not only was the food slow to come out (after being told without prompting that "it's usually pretty fast"), but the waiter forgot my simple request for soy sauce so I had to ask another server. Entree (honey chicken) was pretty tasteless and was mostly fried breading rather than chicken. There's an up charge for anything other than steamed rice, which would be fine if it wasn't also tasteless--I received a bowl of noodles reminiscent of cheap packaged ramen, except without the seasoning (hence the need for soy sauce). I opted to sit by the window so I could watch the planes outside even though it was dark. I got my order taken quickly and I opted for my standard bed with broccoli, white rice. It came out super quickly, was hot and fresh, the beef was the right amount of tender but the broccoli was too firm for my taste. Don't get me wrong it tasted good but just a little too crunchy. In terms of being a restaurant inside a large major airport, we were pleasantly surprised with our meal. Glad that we chose this place. We had a two hour layover & and because we were in Concourse A, we had scoped this restaurant out ahead of time, as it is kind of tricky to find. It's around the corner as you get into the central part of the concourses, and then you have to go upstairs on an escalator to reach it. Once upstairs, it is a full-size restaurant with a bar. We had their yummy peach Boba tea. We ordered the large bowl of wonton soup and it would serve four people, but we were super hungry and we ate the entire giant bowl between the two of us. In addition to wontons, it had a bunch of other stuff in the soup like vegetables and chicken, so it was actually quite tasty. We then split veg entrées of Ma Po Tofu & Buddhist Delight. Visited this location during a layover, seated at the bar near the window around 9:30pm. Servers were kind and attentive. At 10pm, the bartender (Ricky) began loudly announcing it was closing time and slamming the service well grates on the bar - while we were still finishing our food and drinks as paying customers. More concerning: I watched him pour himself a drink from the well into a personal cup while on shift. We paid and left shortly after, not wanting to be around as he grew more agitated. The servers deserve credit - this is entirely about the bartender's conduct and what looked like on-shift drinking, which management should be aware of. read more

I was so glad to find this hidden P.F. Changs. I don't get to eat at this chain very often, so it's a treat when I do. I came at brunch time, between flights. I was seated immediately and my server was at my table in no time. I got the Breakfast Rice Bowl. It was great. Maybe not as good as if I made it myself, but where was I going to find a kitchen at the airport that would let me fix my own brunch. The beer was cold and the service was fantastic. I think of P.F. Whilst waiting for my flight I decided that I really was craving asian food Checking my tripit app, I found sushi, asian chao, and finally settled on P.F.Chang's because I didn't want to walk to the sushi place a few concourses away. P.F. Chang's is nestled on the third story of the A concourse Basically, the escalator only serves P. F. Chang's and the sky miles lounge. It's pretty easy to find. It's very crowded. But they appeared to have it organized very well. I managed to get in 10 minutes after putting my name in. There are lots of seating available. Booths, along the bar along the periphery of the restaurant and little tables of twos. Tables can be joined together to accommodate an increased party size. Very flexible choice for seating. My server Terrell attended to me right after I seated. I had 2 menus, which were printed on both sides. I picked a Sapporo Lager. It did take a while to come, presumably because it was Friday and dinner time. Maybe approximately 15 minutes or so. But I did get a glass of water whilst waiting so that was good. The food took longer to come. Unfortunately, they forgot my utensils. My food came before my utensils and that took another 5 minutes so my food did cool down a little; not a huge deal for me but that might be a deal breaker for others. The chicken and shrimp in the noodles was tender and fresh. The shrimp was definitely fresh. And was cooked just right. The noodles were not overcooked. There were beansprouts, cabbage celery carrots, mushrooms and onions in the mix. The sauce was a little sweet but overall not bad. The combination of vegetables is a little funny as there was purple cabbage as well. The bill can be paid by utilizing an app. And you don't have to download it. Stopped here during a layover since I had a decent amount of time to kill. I was able to sit by the window which had outlets so I could charge my phone and spacious enough to dine alone. It was busy but service was reasonably quick. I ordered the crispy honey shrimp with a side of lo mein. I was hoping the lo mein would have some veggies stir fried but it was plain. The portions were pretty decent although I still think it's a little on the high end but that's to be expected considering it's a traditional sit down and located in an airport. The shrimp was nice and crispy, batter wasn't too thick and the honey sauce was sweet but had some tang to it. Located in the Atlanta International Airport, PF's is a known quantity for food goodness. Ambiance isn't really there, given you're in an airport but that's not their fault. Service was pretty good but all we wanted was a seat and some food to get us through to our next stop. My wife had the Crab Rangoon and the chicken lettuce wraps - she was very happy with her choices. I had the Chang's Spicy Cicken with fried rice and I ate as much as I could until the belly couldn't take anymore. In an airport, it's usually hard to find good food. There's good and not so good. Ambience and service are excellent! My table had a power outlet on the wall so it was so convenient to charge my tech stuff while on a layover. I looked to see if it was only table but the other tables had it too. Make sure you ask for it though if you need it as not all tables have it. The service was very good - friendly and fast. Ok now the food - I ordered the Singaporean noodles - and honestly is the worst Singaporean noodles I've had in my life. Do not order this dish. The noodles were not soft enough and it had loads of curry powder / and that is pretty much all the seasoning / just a whole bunch of curry powder on the midst of hard noodles. This guy's got the full bartender trifecta: charm, wit, and a sixth sense for when your glass is even thinking about being empty. Stopped here before my flight and as a solo diner, was seated immediately by the window. There was an empty seat between me and another person, so I loved the space that I had. Great service as my server came up immediately and my food came out SO fast! I had a good amount of time before my flight, but if I was in a rush, it would've been perfect. I got a margarita, as well as the sesame chicken entree (requested it to be spicy!). It was great and tasted just like the restaurant. One of the better places in the airport. The menu is pretty consist with most PF Changs and service is quick. I had the street noodles which was pretty tasty. Nice presentation of the plate. Ambience is hard to comment on as its a bustling place in the airport but it's a lot better than most places here. It's upstairs away from the hustle and bustle so it gives you a small sense of peace. Decent experience overall and pay as you go via QR code makes for a quick experience when needed. read more

We decided to grab a bit to eat during a 2.5 hour layover in Atlanta. There were lots of choices in this busy airport but we decided as a group to get some PF Chang's. Usually you cant go wrong since they are a chain and usually consistent. I almost always get a good meal. While this wasn't an aweful experience. It was probably the worse PF Chang's meal I have had so far. I usually get the Chang's Spicy Chicken and upcharge for the fried rice side. I really love spicy food. The chicken is usually a deeper red color. When I received mine it was kind of a light red (See Photo) I knew it would not be spicy and I was correct! It wasnt just me because my future son in-law said the same thing. He also always gets the spicy chicken. I also relize we were under the higher price rule "Because Its In An Airport" But ..... It was quit a bit higher than the one back home. I just feel like chains should stay true to their menu prices even in this instance. The ambiance was also very drab and our waitress was not very pleasant. Overall the food was decent for an airport. I guess I expected a little more for my money.... lol ... As always, another great experience at PF Chang's in Concourse A at Hartsfield-Jackson's Atlanta International Airport. I don't know how they manage to consistently pull off being 10x better than my local PF Chang's establishment located at one of the most upscale outdoor mall locations here in the Portland metro area, yet somehow they always do. And this visit was no exception. Sure, if you arrive at dinner time with several people in your party, you should expect that there is going to be a wait before you can be seated. But that's nothing more than you would encounter at any restaurant during peak hours on a weekend evening. However for me, this place couldn't be more ideal. And that's probably why I gravitate here so often. You see, generally when I'm passing through ATL, I'm flying solo. But regardless of how busy it is at PFC (and last night was poppin'!), I have always been able to walk right in and find an empty seat at the bar so that I can order right away. And when I say "bar", I'm speaking about the long table top bar against the glass windows in the back of the restaurant, where you can not only enjoy your meal or pre-flight cocktail as you watch the planes roll by, but also have the option to plug into an outlet to recharge your devices or do any last minute work you might need to get done before takeoff. The service is always fast and courteous, food and drinks are delicious and up to PF Chang's standards, and if you're in a rush, don't hesitate to ask your server to go ahead and close out your tab at the same time that you place your order. They are always more than willing to accommodate. So thanks again, PF Chang's ATL - Concourse A for another great "dine and fly" experience.
