This was our first time trying Uncle Maddie's Pizza. The price for a 10" combo is very reasonable as is the calzones. The extra large cheese pizza was rather steep, but you get what you pay for and the flavor made it worth the price. You get to watch your pizza being made but everyone in my party was concerned about the lack of regulations requiring the pizza makers to wear hair nets, or wear their hair pulled back. The guy that prepared our order was very nice, however he wore braids in his hair that were about 1 1/2 feet long and they swung over the crust as he made our pizzas, we were afraid we would find pieces of hair in our food. We would have been more at ease if he had his hair pulled back in a ponytail. We will probably give this plan another try. They serve Pepsi products which was a plus for our party of Mountain Dew lovers. The dining area was clean and quiet. It was modern and nice. read more

My first Uncle Maddio's pizza was back in 2018 in High Point, NC and I've been hooked ever since. I love that you get the pizza fresh and you can tweak the toppings to your liking. I've never had any problems with their customer service; staff is always nice & pleasant. Facilities are always clean. I luckily went on a day where they were offering FREE beverages- that just sealed the deal for me even more ! If you haven't been to Uncle Maddio's I recommend you give them a try! read more

I went there today 10/24/25 and ate a personal pizza and my mother had the same thing but I put jalapeños on mine and abt an hour later I was non stop throwing up for 5 hours couldn't keep anything down this pizza place gave me food poisoning!!! i also found mold in the cheese shaker that was on the table had to give it to the guy at the counter. read more

I had a pizza & cheesy breadsticks delivered. Breadsticks were flat and not flavorful. The Alfredo sauce dipping sauce was good, though. The pizza was not awful, but not much flavor, either. I don't even know where to start. I bit into my pizza and tasted heaven on earth. The food is so delicious. I eat a lot of plant based food and they are very accommodating to dietary needs. I branched out to try jerk chicken on my pizza and I can't deny that it was the right choice. This was a great find and i love that I can make it my way. As much as I like the food, the service here is HORRIBLE!!! I ordered online and it said "order will be ready in 20 minutes" After working a 12 hour day and waiting the 20 minutes for my food, I got an email that said "your order is ready" So I went in to pick up my order and they were all clueless. Finally someone said that they forgot to make it!!!!! So I was told it would be another 10 minutes, which turned into another 20 minutes. Visited this location for the second time in about six months. The first time the air conditioning was out and it was so hot inside that we ended up packing our food up and taking it home. Tonight the air was out again and so hot inside that we just left without ordering. Not sure if it has been out of service this entire time or if the air conditioning continuously breaks. Rude employees. They literally messed up my order twice in one day. Made it wrong went back and they made it wrong again. They have ticket orders to look at. Awesome service we arrived 25 minutes before closing and were met with smiles and salutations. Everything was prepared as asked. No one rushed us out. I'm from Boston and I am use to authentic Italian pizza. I must say that Maddio's is the closest I've had to date. The sauce is great and they let you "Build your own Pizza" with three toppings. The pizza tastes fresh and full of flavor. I thought a medium was going to be too small but I was wrong. I had to take two slices home. Bathrooms were surprisingly very clean with no urine, stale, bathroom smell. The staff was very respectful and friendly. Overall, the facilities, staff and most importantly the food have earned 5 stars for, in my humble opinion, the best pizza joint in town! IT'S OPEN!!! Don't know why Yelp has it listed as closed. 26 Sep 2016 Richard is a Great employee! Every time I come here he's always on point. It seems like he is the manager of the place. I came one day and there were no managers to be found and Richard was upfront directing all of the staff and making sure the customers are being served in a timely manner. I usually love Uncle Maddio's pizza. I went to eat this afternoon and the pizza was great as usual. The inside of the restaurant was excessively hot and it was difficult to eat because of the temperature. It was 91 degrees outside and it did not feel any different walking inside. You could tell the staff was miserable, they were all sweating like crazy. I like the pizza but not enough to go back after today. They should have shut down until they get the A/C repaired. Instead, they expect their employees to work nonstop in that heat. I hope no one gets a heat-related illness. The owner would be in for some pretty stiff fines if they do. read more

Have been several times since new owners. No problem, until this past Saturday, Feb. 25th. Was over charged for 2 personal pizzas. After being told it had been corrected I checked my bank account. The full amount was charged, no credit. I went into the store and spoke with Jeremie. After being told he corrected it and receiving an electronic email stating I would get credit still no credit back to my bank account. I will not return to them and I recommend you make sure you are being charged the correct amount before you pay. read more

Would give 0 stars. Ordered pizza and was never delivered, no indication that the order was canceled or there was an issue. I tried calling multiple times before they closed and no one picked up. Called the next day, some kid pretty much said it wasn't his problem since he wasn't on the night shift, and the manager was out so I need to call back. I called back several hours later, the manager had left for the day, spoke to someone else and got the same answer about not her problem because she wasn't on the shift. Finally got someone to issue a refund. Called two days later because still no refund, spoke with "manager" who pretty much said it was my responsibility to call to get refunded, regardless of what happened m, he doesn't care since it was issued from their side. No apology, no ounce of understanding of how this was horrible customer service. I didn't ask for anything free, didn't ask for anything special or extra. We wanted to try a different pizza place and saw add for Madios with free 30 minute delivery about 6 months ago. We placed order and waited over 1 1/2 hours for order. When it finally arrived was cold and the 2 canollis we ordered were missing. Called and was told they couldn't refund for the missing items because they use say2eat. After phone calls and emails we got the refund for missing items but the pizza place wanted to blame delivery service and delivery service wanted to blame the pizza place. Well we decided we wanted pizza again tonight. With time you forget the bad and we made the mistake of giving a 2nd chance. Ordered pizza and in special instruction asked to substitute an ingredient with another that I also chose from a list and paid extra for. Ordered the cannolis again since we didn't taste last time. Delivery shows 30 minutes. 1/2 hour later I start tracking pizza delivery. Sure enough they keep pushing back the pickup and delivery time. After they pushed it to the point of delivery happening almost an hour, I messaged them and asked why the time kept getting pushed out. The person chatting said they would check and then it showed the pizza picked up. Got it a few minutes later which made it over 1/2 hour late. The pizza was missing the ingredient I added for $1 and still had what I asked to be removed on it. We did receive the cannolis, but the filling of the cannoli was super grainy and just not good. The pizza was terrible. I chatted with them about it being wrong and they said I didn't order that ingredient or add special instructions. I sent a screenshot of the email confirmation order which showed the added ingredient but doesn't show any special instruction. I think that is the way it displays because I had to look up how to spell prosciutto when I was filling out the special instruction. They are just SUPER ARGUMENTATIVE AND THE CUSTOMER IS LYING is their policy apparently. I remembered all of the crap we went thru last time and realized I am wasting time with them that is better spent warning everyone else DO NOT order Uncle Madios! REALLY crappy pizza and service.
