I order from here quite a bit for delivery on my lunch breaks. I've found that it's really a hit or miss.. Sometimes the food is good, other times it's bland. I always get zeppoles though, they're awesome. I've had their wings, not a fan of it. I've tried most of their lunch specials too, it's okay. Order at least once a week. Was always good but lately their service has gone down hill. 1. One order they sent the wrong kind of salad and then sent a new one. 2. They delivered half the order so we got cold pizza. 3. They once again sent the wrong salads and I was told they didn't know what I wanted. Then wouldn't you call and ask? Uncle Sal's does a great job on their food except for one if she'll they don't put enough gravy on their pasta, I'm a person who likes a lot of gravy and even when I order extra I don't get it that's my only issue with them but otherwise they're a good pizzeria read more

Every time we're in town with my in laws we order from here. Their chicken parm pizza is very good and the slices are huge in the XL we require for the six of us. Plus another type which is typically cheese which is good too. The next time we'll have to try the buffalo chicken. ***Edited to add*** We've tried their buffalo chicken. It is AMAZING! We love the food here and order here all the time. Typically we use an app not associated with the store to order but the last time we ordered the delivery person from the app delivered our food to the wrong place. The person who received our food brought it to us (very nice of them) but post Covid world I did not want to eat food possibly touched by anyone else. I called the app and they said there is nothing they can do right now so I called the store and they told me they would bring an entire new order and have their delivery person bring it to us. Thank you Uncle Sal's for being awesome and for making great food! I will continue ordering from you but may need to give up ordering through the outside app and order direct from you in the future. read more

I loved my pannini! Turkey, bacon, lettuce, onion, and just a little mayo. The French fries are unbelievably good. My coworker had the nuclear wings with ranch on the side. He said they were delicious! Next time, I'm going to try a slice of pizza! I counted 11 different types. There's something for everyone, including Sicilian. Not sure where I stand with Uncle Sals. I always order for delivery and sometimes I get amazing food but sometimes I also get inedible food. I ordered a turkey sub, craving it for days and finally getting one, and the bread was rock hard!? How did the cook not feel that bread? Or he or she thought it was ok to send that out? Idk but it made me swear off the sandwiches there. My husband had the same problem with his cheesesteak. Then we ordered a pizza another time, specifically asking for a crispier finish, not only was it NOT crispy but it was SOGGY! Let's hope third time is the charm read more

I always order a simple chicken sandwich w/ lettuce tomato oil and vinegar and for some reason it comes out tasting amazing from this place; chicken is breaded nicely, all the veggies taste fresh. The pizza is great, very good sauce. The place isn't perfect, on some busy weekend nights we've gotten some mediocre soggy pies, but it doesn't happen often and overall the quality of the food is great so it doesn't feel right to knock off a star for that. This place and Luigi's in succasunna are the only places I go to for a slice of pizza. read more

What can I say- I'm lucky to have this place so close to my house! When it comes to home style Italian cooking, Uncle Sal's is the place to go. The pizza is outstanding, sandwiches amazing and the dinners are freshly prepared. My favorites include the "Uncle Sal's chicken" and chicken Parmesan. The food is always hot and fresh and the place is well managed for being so busy all the time. They have table service available in their dining room, but I usually bring their stuff home to pig out or take advantage of the delivery service. Great place, great food! read more

Tried the pizza.... eh.. it was OK Tried the chicken parm and penne. The chicken had an unwashed flavor and the penne was undercooked with the sauce clearly from a jar like Ragu. It was terrible. There are other Italian places in town that are better. Also.. their drivers put your credit card number into their phone instead of swiping it. Very suspicious and unsafe. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I ordered an order of mild buffalo wings and French fries. Not only did it take an hour for my order to arrive, but when it did it was honey BBQ wings and the fries were soggy. When I call to ask about my wings I get an attitude from the guy on the phone. He tells me that is the sauce they use and if I wanted to come down and read the bottle. When I ask him for his name so I can report him to the owner he proceeds to tell me "my name Jose Alejandro Carlos Guido Sancho Babaluwa the 31st and I'm from Puerto Rico". I didn't ask him all that. I ask for my money back and he gets even nastier. It took me another hour to get my money back. The driver was nice, and apologized. I ended up ordering from Vincenzo's instead. Stopped in on a Friday afternoon and ordered a couple mushroom slices. I was told by the young person behind the counter that this is all we have ( pointing to the premade pies) I asked if he could put some mushrooms on a couple slices and he repeated " this is all we have" I was in disbelief! I have been in the food service business for over 30 years. You give the customer what they ask for . That's how you retain loyal customers! I work very close to Uncle Sal's and have been going here for lunch just about once a week for ten years. Their pizza is delicious, and they have a lot of varieties out on the counter to choose from if you're buying slices. Their salads, wraps, sandwiches, and entrees are also very tasty. I've never ordered anything and disliked it in the 10 years I've been eating at Sal's. The guys that work there are friendly and accommodating. Just recently we placed a catering order for my daughter's baptism party. We ordered a tray of mini meatballs, chicken parm, penne vodka, and a 5 foot italian sub. All of the food was FRESH and HOT and just as delicious as it is when we go to the restaurant to eat. It was delivered right to the house on time with no problems and was reasonably priced. I will definitely place a catering order with them again. It exceeded my expectations. We live about 10-15 minutes away from Uncle Sal's, but it is our preferred pizza place. We drive by 5 or 6 other pizza places on our way to get there, but it's well worth it. read more
