I visited here recently and had an amazing slice. The inside of the restaurant looks like a typical NJ pizza joint. It's very casual and very low-key, with lots of old-fashioned Italian pictures and decorations everywhere. There is tons of seating, and you can seat yourself. I ordered a zucchini slice at the counter. They heated up the slice for me, and to my surprised, brought the pizza right to my seat when it was ready. I liked this small gesture, as I expected to pick my slice up at the counter myself, and it felt like they went above and beyond to provide excellent service. My zucchini slice was incredible. It had chicken, zucchini, tomato, and shallot. It was drizzled very lightly with a sweet balsamic glaze. The crust was so crispy and thin, yet the slice wasn't flimsy. The slice was loaded with toppings, and the topping to cheese ratio was perfect. I was incredible happy with my slice and can't wait to return to get more. read more

Pretty good pizza. I like how thin the crust is and that they put panko crumbs on the bottom of the crust. It gives it a great crunch! The sauce is on the sweeter side but that's up to personal preference. We ordered delivery so can't comment on service. read more

I ordered online for delivery to my office. They use DoorDash. I ordered 2 special pizzas and a Greek salad. There was only 1 regular pizza and a garden salad. The driver said that he only delivered what they gave him. I called Franks. I told them about the issue and asked them to deliver 2 of the pizzas that I ordered. The woman told me it was the driver and she wasn't responsible. She was very rude and slammed the phone down. I had to go to another pizzeria by work and pick up pizza for my team. I got the pizza they liked and I had ordered from Franks. NEVER AGAIN!!! You can blame it on the driver but you can't fix rude people! read more

The place is under the new ownership and the changes are welcomed. The pizza is not the best I've had but it's up there. They have a molten lava cake that is delicious. Waited close to two hours for delivery ended up with a cold pie, with the cheese all messed up and off to one side, and hot iceberg lettuce in my 9 dollar antipasto. Was quoted $22 dollars over the phone and charged over $23, after the lowest tip I felt comfortable mustering I paid close to $25 dollars for a terrible experience. So ...my wife and I have been going to Frank's Pizza chain for years. Always had a pleasant experience and the food was always reasonable and prepared as expected. We go with the expectations of having a nice Pizza meal (comfort food)! However, ...the food Sunday evening 6/12/22, at your Naughright and Rt. 46 facility was not exactly great! Let me preface by saying the staff was very pleasant, helpful and polite! We ordered Chicken Marsala Pizza, Eggplant Parm sandwich and Garlic knots. The Pizza was literally cold, tasteless and dry. The Eggplant was hot, as expected, but no cheese and a small spoonful of Marinara at best! The garlic knots... although wrapped in tinfoil were also ice cold. The facility coined as the Mount Olive Franks was disappointing to say the least. Now listen, we understand that a "pizza joint is a pizza joint"... It's not like we went there for an Anniversary dinner or a spectacular steak and seafood 5 star restaurant. But, the meal was simply, extremely disappointing! The facility was clean, and again... The staff pleasant and it seemed that they were doing delivery and phone business, but no one else was in the dining room. So I can't say they were overburdened or understaffed... please watch your cook times in the ovens, Marsala and mushrooms would be nice, along with some cheese and sauce. We live on Schooley's Mtn and used to go to Frank's in Califon for their "2 Large Pies for $16.99 on Mon & Tues" special, mainly because we LOVE their crackly crust. When we found out THIS Frank's has the same crust, we started going there. Can't beat the deal for a very good pie. Today, we'll try their Cluck-U wings to go with the pizza. Zero stars. Hands down the worst pizza I have ever had in my 46 years on this planet. And I have had a lot of pizza. Crust was undercooked and soggy, like eating a wet sponge. Toppings were canned not fresh. Service was awful. To be fair we were a large group of twenty but they knew we were coming and there was only one other group in the place. A large cheese pizza for our kids took 50min! We left after waiting for our veggie pizza for 90 min! Others waited for simple salads for 60 min. When I looked in the kitchen and asked for the mgr. I was told there wasn't one tonight. One of the wait staff was on her phone, just hanging out! Don't go here unless it is the zombie apocalypse and you are completely desperate. read more

Its now under new ownership. It has unfortunately become very bad. Chicken wings was a popular item here under previous ownership and now has become a joke. When we complained about the quality we were told by very rude waitress up front that thats how they make wings. We were not able to even bite the wings as it was very hard and brittle. Really sad to see a once very good restaurant getting to sorry state of awaits. They were not sorry for the bad quality. They did refund the money on our complaint after we returned the togo item. We ordered take out last night because Branda's had an hour backup and my wife was coming home from Rt 46. Pizza was solid and my wife loved her calzone. I ordered veal parm dinner which came with garlic bread, salad, and pasta. Veal parm was thin sliced and cooked ok. I thought the garlic bread could have had more garlic and I ordered pasta with garlic and oil which I thought was slightly over cooked. Salad was nothing special. That's why the rating is a 3 for me. Each meatball was obviously factory-made, not handmade nor homemade, more bread than meat, and utterly TASTELESS. The sauce was terrible, too, and tasted like it was straight out of a jar. I called to complain but blocked my number so they couldn't retaliate against me in some way. When I got a recorded message saying they do not accept calls from blocked numbers, I decided to do this review. I didn't want to do this online review because restaurants are struggling right now. Had they been honest and told me the truth up front that they do NOT make their own meatballs, I would not be doing this negative review; but they left me no choice. The sandwich was $9.06 with tax. We have been coming here for many years and we always received excellent service from the head waitress, who is no longer there. Tonight we went for a small meal and not only did the young "waitress" only ask my husband what he wanted to drink, ignoring me, she gave us no silverware, never gave us a bill, and never checked to see if there was anything else we wanted. She stood and talked to another employee the entire time since there was only one other table occupied, ignoring us completely. Actually she didn't do much for them either.
