The menu here is so varied and there isn't much of a vegetarian option. The food is good just such a long wait to get seated. It's always a nice time but the wait time kills it for me. Good spot I just feel like they need to work on either expanding or adding reservations if the wait time will be long.

This location was so nice for a slow morning brunch. I ordered the avocado toast and it was the prettiest plate of food I've had in a while. The drink menu was amazing with plenty of fun options. I thought the prices were fair for brunch and it wasn't too busy. The location is fairly small and on a cold day seating close to the front is a bit chilly.

From the chorizo fundito burrito to the BELTCH sandwich to the Baja breakfast hash, the food had generous proportions of ingredients - no skimping here! The chorizo fundito burrito was well balanced between the egg, chorizo and salsa. The queso to dip on the side was a nice touch! The Baja breakfast hash had perfectly cooked "sunny eggs" and was perfectly salted. The BELTCH had a generous amount of bacon and egg which is often hard to find. The only downfall was that the entrance door connected directly to the outside (no vestibule). So, when patrons entered and exited, a gust of 10 degree frigid air would rush through the dining area every 2 minutes or so. Our party ate with our coats on since it was cold inside. Additionally, the wait was around 40 minutes on a Saturday at 930, which is expected for a popular restaurant.

Looked at the food and the reviews for this place. This place did not disappoint. The chefs know how to season things properly it was so delicious. The portions are good and filling. The Bloody Mary was very good. Our sever who also is the master bar tender made the experience that much better. The location is so cute. I loved the decor. The different kinds of alcohol displayed was really fun to see. Just such a great place. I wish I could visit more often. Really miss the food.

Uncle Wolfie's has an aesthetic look and is a cutesy place for sure. The servers worked as a team and did a great job. The spicy bloody was sooo spicy, making me sweat immediately and I couldn't really taste the flavor. The cold brew I got was watery I couldn't taste the coffee. I did ask for more cold brew to add on top and they were very kind and brought me a whole other black cold brew. The plain cold brew looked see through, was still watery and maybe wasn't made right, unfortunately. My plate I got was delicious, I recommend the Baja Breakfast Hash with chorizo! It was flavorful and the perfect amount for breakfast not too filling. The chicken katsu was missing the flavor overall but the crispy chicken was good. It was our first time coming here, we've heard great things and what we got didn't meet our expectations but maybe we will try other menu items next time!

Cute little spot downtown. It's smallish inside, though stylish with nice vibes. I wouldn't necessarily come here with a big group, but perhaps a date night or a small group of 4. I had a nice experience with everyone I interacted with, from beginning to end. Saw lots of smiles. Always a plus. They have an interesting, one of a kind menu. It's not just basic fares, but everything has a little twist or fusion vibes. We're talking Mexican to Vietnamese in fine dining. That said, the menu called the dishes "Shareables", and I expected them to be larger sizes to share, but it's actually the opposite. They are more like Spanish tapas - small appetizer sized dishes, that I don't want to share cuz they're good lol. Usually when i think of tapas, i think of a plate with items that can be shared easily, with everyone just grabbing a piece by hand, or a quick spoon. These shareables were like Italian family sharing kind of food (salad, steak, etc.) but in super small portions. Among the four of us, we each got maybe a bite or two of each dish. So really, it was more like we were "tasting" than "eating." Cheviche Fresh! Yum! Tofu something Delicious. We had a vegetarian in the group, so I felt bad eating more than a bite, but definitely would have othewise. Watermen salad This was ok. Definitely fresh and good taste, but the watermelon itself was not super sweet and didn't really add to the salad. Flank steak I would have been happy with this dish on my own. It's an awkward dish to share, though the steak does come cut up, to make it easy to share, i assume. Pork tacos Yummy tacos. Lumpia Fried spring rolls, kinda like eggrolls. Good, but not break my keto kind of good. Again, all the food items are pretty solid, though the experience of sharing these "shareables" weren't my thing. Everything is quite pricey for the amount of food we got. My tastebuds were happy, but my stomach wasn't satisfied. May be better for a splurge date night, with me eating more than my share.

I had a nice time at Uncle Wolfie's Breakfast Tavern in Milwaukee's Lower East Side. My group and I (party of 7) arrived at the opening and we were seated right away, though we were the last table to be sat and waited on. The space is cozy and intimate, and the pace was packed. I had the brioche French toast with lemon curd and blueberry compote-- it was very flavorful! Service was attentive, with coffee and creamers refilled often. Our food was slightly cooler since we were the last table, but it was still delicious. A bit pricier than expected, but the charm and quality made it worth it. We we asked to leave after 2 hours of seating to make room for other patrons, but I'll definitely be back.

    - good food, good service, fun ambiance - reservation made, but I don't think was needed - I would return to try their other options This place has been on my list for a while and who doesn't love a lil restaurant switcheroo when it transforms from Uncle Wolfies to The Wolf. The food was interesting and fun concepts that were enjoyable and have me wondering what the other options could be like! I got the Crab Nasi Gureng and was able to enjoy each bite of my rice dish that had lots of crab meat in it! Alongside the fried rice, there was a nice runny egg on top and prawn crackers that added a nice crunch to each bite. I'm not sure if thats how you do it, but I used the crackers like a scooper and ate it like a tostada. I was thinking some heat would take the dish to another level, and then my prayers were answered and I found a jalapeño! I thought the same thing again for more, and then a few bites later I had a nice sweet pineapple chunk! Oh my this dish was truly delicious and the only thing I can comment on is that I don't have some in front of me right now! (also maybe some more salt, but still flavorful and delicious) For my drink, I got the Thai Tea Tini. It had a strong banana(?) flavor and crunchy bits on top. I don't drink too much, so I can't comment too much on this drink, but if I did I bet this would be tasty. For now, I'll stick to my fountain drinks until my tastebuds can grow up. M'lady had gotten the Pork Belly Crispy Rice for her meal. It was a lot more different than we were expecting, but in an awesome-tasty-delicious way! I would describe it more of a salad, with the "base" being leafy greens. The pork belly was crispy and well-salted and accompanied by the secret hero - the crispy rice balls. I thought the crispy rice would be a hardened shell at the bottom of the bowl, but it was instead small balls of rice that were crisped and mixed throughout the salad bowl... never before seen or even conceptualized by me, but truly amazing! Adding to the crispiness, there were onions, lots of cashews, and lots of tomatoes mixed in (maybe too much, but thats ok). Tying everything together, there was a vinaigrette that added a nice punch to keep this dish very kiki-like. Pookie had gotten a virgin Onsen and it was a nice way to round out her meal. The drink was carbonated and very mellow with the rosemary flavor. Pretty tame, but no complaints really. I think this was a delightful visit and I was sadly too full to order their dumpling of the day. Alas, there is always tomorrow! Their interior was very fun and cute at night, probably even cooler in the sun. I hope to be back soon and see how else their menu surprises my mind and maybe even see new items. Lovely place and looking forward to next time!

I was told this is "The Best Brunch in Milwaukee" and did it deliver! Uncle Wolfie's has a Downtown & Brewer's Hill location. For brunch, no reservations are accepted so one will need to come, add your name to the waitlist, and be patient to enjoy. Our wait was only 30 minutes but during peak hours, I have been told up to an hour wait time. The inside is small but had such a comforting and eclectic vibe. I loved the wood features, fluted accents, and charm the space gave. The large windows were great for natural lighting and feeling connected to the city. For drinks, I got the Lavender London Fog. Theirs is a bit different as it had a coffee base over tea. The lavender was bright but the drink was a bit milky. If you are looking for a bit higher caffeine punch, try the Creamy Sweet Cold Brew! For food, I got the BELTCH and YUM! Large portion, good flavor balance, fries were delicious. My friends got the Queso Burrito and Shitake-Yaki Omelette. I have NEVER tasted an omelette like this one before. So fresh and I cannot begin to describe the flavor profile in a good way. We also all shared the Biscuits and Gravy which we all loved. Across the board, the food types were brunch classics but Uncle Woflie's puts their own spin on the flavor notes. Each bite we were more impressed. Service was a bit slow on water refilling and taking down names at the host stand, but we may have just caught them on a bad day. Our server Pat was great and the staff made sure our group was well accommodated knowing we had a small child with us. Overall, we still left highly impressed and talking about our dishes all day. Already cannot wait to visit again and check out their dinner menu! Tip: If visiting with kids, the restaurant only has (2) height chairs so be prepared with a backup if not available.

Breakfast burrito. Perfectly balanced flavor. Get the tavern potatoes. They are covered in flavor

Food is amazing, the decor is very stylish. Service needs work. But that's what every review cited. As long as you go in knowing what to expect, you will be fine. Service: they are not very efficient. It took almost half an hour for food to get to our table. Space: it's a small place, with about 15 four tops that can break into two tops. Food: coffee is average, but the following were delish: Breakfast burrito, had just the right balance of ingredients. Peppers had a nice char to them. The chorizo wasn't over powering. Just plain dancing flavors in the mouth Steak frites. They serve it medium well and it was perfectly cooked. They had marinated it so it was popping with flavor. The added sauce is not necessary. We scraped it off. Donuts. It's a very doughy pandan donut. So it's purple on the inside. It's served on top of a stroke of mango chutney. Serving size is 150% of a Timbit. So it's quite filling.

I am visiting from our of state so my friend recommended we go here for breakfast, and it did not disappoint. I got the BLTE with tavern potato's and my friend got the chorizo hash, we both really enjoyed our meal and were in an out in 45 minutes.

Uncle Wolfie's is everything you want in a breakfast/brunch restaurant. Not only is the atmosphere so stylish and comfortable but the food and drinks are very good. We came as a party if four on a Saturday morning and the restaurant was full, there was a waiting room where you can order drinks off to the side. We were told it would be a 35-40 minute wait but we were seated in about 10-15 minutes. Staff were very busy at the time but still very friendly and timely with our order. Great place to bring your family or a date! Definitely coming again.

Friends and I went to uncle wolfie's dinner diner right when they opened on a Sunday- we decided here since going to the other destination meant a 1 hour wait!!! We were seated and ordered an espresso martini and sangria for drinks, both STRONG and delicious! For the food we had the specials duck puff and crunch wrap, my bf had their Baja hash, and we shared the ube French toast. They were all very good! The duck puff pastry was nice and flaky, crunch wrap super tasty, and the French toast had a nice sourness from the lemon. Only thing I'll say about the Ube French toast; it doesn't really taste like Ube, it's definitely more "looks purple but tastes mainly of lemon" becuase of the lemon flavors! As a Filipino, I LOVE Ube, and I feel like if they use actual Ube paste they should absolutely put more in it! Not enough Ube!!!! Otherwise it was a wonderful brunch time!

We stopped here after dinner, so we stuck mostly with the cocktails. Unfortunately, nothing on the seasonal menu really stuck out to me. I stuck with the "traditional" cocktails (spicy watermelon bubblegum, and then banana daiquiri). Hubs went for the halo halo food (which was so cute! All the typical ingredients but served in cubist fashion), and the paired drink. The paired drink was supposed to have different layers of flavor, but they all mixed together quite a bit. Tasty, just not the "layered" experience we thought. I think they almost do themselves a disservice comparing themselves to the aviary - that is a crazy high bar to meet. Granted, maybe we would have been more impressed if we had more of the seasonal cocktails despite them not seeming interesting? Probably wouldnt go out of my way to go here again, but it is a cool vibe and the cocktails were good.

While the menu is limited and not cheap, staff were very friendly and walked us through everything before we selected a couple of things to try. One of the cheese on our plate was the espresso version of Bellavitano, which happens to be one of my favorites, so that was a nice little bonus for me. In addition to the board, we also went with the ricotta bites, which featured one sweet and one savory option, both of which we also really liked. The shop is cozy and if this was somewhere that I lived walking distance from, I could totally see myself coming here fairly regularly and having a little cheese and ambiance. During our time there we saw both couples on dates and old friends gathering for a drink and a nosh, all of which I found just wonderful. Really the only thing keeping this from a five star review was that the side items, such as the crackers were not plentiful enough for the cheese. I know that ratio can be hard to nail but it was not quite on the mark here, unfortunately. However, that would not be enough to prevent me from returning!
