What a great way to visit some of the best wineries in California in style. Our driver was super nice, friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. You can customize your tour and they know all the best places to go. The vans are sparkling clean with huge windows to get a great view of the beautiful landscape you will cover. Katie made our pre-tour experience unpleasant. Katie did not share terms of the tour purchase until AFTER we paid. She forgot we are the customers. Her attitude caused stress because she didn't allow for the fact that we knew what we wanted. HIGHLY recommend if you want a driver for the day - the roads are definitely windy and you have zero cell service up in the vineyard hills, so I would suggest not driving yourself. We did a private tour because we wanted to choose our vineyards for the day. We had Lauren, she was awesome! She gave us just the right amount of information without overwhelming us with wine info. Our experience from start to finish was wonderful! Katie handled our reservation beautifully. We exchanged a couple of emails, they were very upfront, and accommodating, and just like that it was booked. Our driver, Trudy, could not have been more of a sweetheart. They get them from a very popular deli apparently so it wasn't as if someone was making them in their kitchen with whatever they had on hand. I worked with her on planning a bachelorette party wine tasting trip during Paso Wine fest, and she was incredibly knowledgeable about where we should stop based on the size of the winery and the activities they had going on. All of the wineries we stopped at knew her by name and one of the wineries let us in to the "reserve" room because we were with her! I booked Uncorked for a relaxing bachelorette weekend with the bride and other bridesmaids. We had a fantastic time! Our driver and guide, Amalia, was so welcoming and very knowledgeable. The staff at Uncorked is professional and friendly- they made our trip so great. We stopped at some fantastic vineyards that I wouldn't have known about (including Carmody McKnight, Brecon Estates and Tooth and Nail). The cost was very, very reasonable- just $90 per hour for five guests. I loved that everything was taken care of for us so we could just focus on the wine and having a nice time. Uncorked Wine Tours helped make our girls wine trip to Paso awesome!! Katie, the owner, helped make sure booking our adventure went smoothly. Cara our driver rocked! She was attentive but never in the way of our fun. She picked us up on time, was professional, helped make our trip special by giving pressure less suggestions, she loaded all of our purchases in the van at each stop, took a ton of photos and most importantly she laughed with us. The van comfortably fit the four of us ladies from 10:30am-5:30pm. There was always water available. The lunch seem pricy but it's worth the money. The chicken salad croissant, chicken pesto wrap and Italian scooter were all delicious. The portion is more than generous plus you get a side ( the pesto pasta is amazing) and a cookie.
