We had a great day. Our driver Chris gave us great information, helped us with everything. We needed to add an urgent trip to a pharmacy and he was more than accommodating. We enjoyed our three wineries but the best winery was the one that came up in a random conversation and we added that unexpected stop which was the highlight of our trip. Thank you Chris! We purchased the picnic lunch as none of the wineries we planned seemed to have a lot of food options. The picnic lunch was much better than we had anticipated! It was delicious and huge too so I think next time I would split the picnic with another person and then get olives and little plates and stuff they have on some of the menus. We also made our special stop at Pasolivo to taste Olive Oils. We love that place. If you are into olive oil be sure to include it on your trip. read more

This is not worth the money, and the owner really should consider another line of work that isn't in the service industry. My husband had planned our experience, and after reading all of the glowing reviews, was excited to book with uncorked. The driver was clueless... he asked US what our itinerary was, he knew nothing about wine, the area, or our tour. We had asked to go to special or unique wineries that reflected Paso Robles and the owner literally had carte blanche on her selections, and after charging a ridiculous EXTRA amount to "select" for us (she literally took 5 minutes to map out the itinerary), and before the owner responds and argues, we have the email time stamp to prove it. The driver also was planning on leaving our chicken salad lunches (skip the lunch option, it's over priced and not worth it) in the heated car (it was 100*+) during a very hot days, he was very young... but still why did I have to ask if he was going to put our food in a cooler... ‍ The tour company is actually an overpriced shuttle service. We paid $500+ for a day that was not memorable, nor an experience of any sorts. There are some amazing wineries in town, and she sent us to tourist trap destinations that I would not recommend. When we contacted the owner while at our second location, instead of apologizing or trying to make our experience better, she was defensive and lied, telling me that we had requested the tourist traps, when we had the email communication illustrating otherwise. Our tour was at a luxury price point, and far from a memorable experience, definitely not worth the money. We should have hired a wine Uber driver. All of the other reviews with the owner getting defensive are a sad reflection of her own desire to be right over everything else. Learn to take some constructive criticism and use it as an opportunity for growth, instead of being combative on a review site. read more

Uncorked shuttled us, as well as other people who attended the Tobin James Winery BBQ on March 20. The entire crew was very professional and helpful. I want to particularly compliment our driver Chris. At the end of our return shuttle to the Holiday Inn Express (where we left our car before boarding the outbound shuttle) there were 3 police cars arresting someone directly in front of where we parked. Although I felt fine to drive, I would have been a bit nervous pulling out in front of the cops after getting off a wine shuttle. Chris pulled into the business next door and provided us with directions to our Airbnb avoiding Hwy 101. By the time we were done and I had the directions on my GPS the officers had left. We had a quiet and peaceful drive back to our place. Sorry for the long story but I have to give Chris and Uncorked the credit they deserve! read more

This was my first time visiting and planning a group wine tasting trip to Paso Robles. I reached out to Katie and she was super helpful. I had a lot of questions leading up to the booking and she was so nice about it. She ended up sending over a list of suggestions for wineries that can accommodate larger groups and we ended up booking all 3 spots from her list. The day before our trip, our driver Jed called me to introduce himself and touch base before coming to pick us up the next morning. The day-of, Jed was really friendly and helpful - he took charge of checking our party in at each winery and also kept track of time for us so we could all just sit back and relax without worrying about missing our next reservation. We have been using Uncorked now for about 5 years. Each year we take a trip or two to Paso and reach out to Katie to book our tours. This time we had Kim and she was great. The staff is always super friendly and Knowledgeable. We always have a great time. It's great having your own van and be able to load all of your purchases up. I'm so glad we went with Uncorked Wine Tours! My husband and I planned our own itinerary, and our driver kept us on schedule! At each winery, he'd walk us in, let the host know our reservation info, and what time we needed to leave by. About 20 min before we had to head out, he'd come in and check on us and let us know it was close to time to head out. Which, when you're drinking wine and having fun, you totally lose track of time. Our driver, Chris, overheard on the 1st day of our trip that I was celebrating my bday - on the 2nd day he showed up with a birthday gift. I'm still stunned at his thoughtfulness! This was our first wine tour and trip through Paso wine country and we couldn't be happier with our experience with Uncorked. Our driver Michael, aka Capt. Mikey, was wonderful to us. He told us all about Paso Robles and customized our trip based on our wine preferences and experience upon our first meeting. His relationship with each of the tasting hosts at the different wineries made for an especially fun occassiomln as each of them knew him well enough to offer us reserve wines not included on each tasting menu. This tour was really just a taxi service. When I asked how they chose the wineries we were visiting, the response was "ones that don't require reservations since we have 6 people". The five hour tour was only 4 hours. Upon closing out payment, I was informed that there was a $15 fee for using a credit card and it was supposedly explained in my email. I re-read the email later and there was no such explanation. Our driver was pleasant and courteous but there were no connections or additional information that you might think would be included. If you are looking for a way to get around Paso Robles, an Uber would be much cheaper. read more

We had an excellent time with Captain Mike! Everything went as smoothly as can be, and each winery offered something unique. Mike was so knowledgeable about the area and the wineries. He even filled out a map for me with recommendations for the next trip. He was great about checking in with us on the timing of everything, which was great because having scheduled the tastings myself I was worried that I underestimated the time we'd need. As for the wineries, Justin had our favorite wine, Daou had the best ambience (we also ordered food here), and Jada had the best host! Our Jada host was Jill. She recommended that we stop at Pasolivo, and everyone was on board with the recommendation. It was great that we were able to add it to our agenda last minute because we LOVED tasting the olive oil.
