They sed that both battery testers were dead and needed to charge it would be about an hour. I told him my car won't start I had to jump it to get here, and then he suggested I go to the next store closest to get it checked. That would have been nice but again I stated my car won't start. So I figured I'd just get another battery, he sed ok and I asked if someone could help me put it in. Again he was like sorry no... long pause and just stared at me I was like no one can help me ?? He sed I have a back injury, (which ok I get it you don't wanna make it worse) but Dolby whose standing right next to him staring at her phone trying to ignore me. I was about to walk out and she finally was like let's go look at your car. She brought the wrong tools and then began saying the bolts were rusted and would need to be cut. I'm sorry but I got the nuts off earlier befor I arrived so they were already loose and maybe if you brought the right tools with you- I'm just appalled at the SHITTY service here attitude and communication! I had to stop three times to let the car cool off so I could make it to work safely and not damage the engine, I called all the usual parts places and no one had the hose that had ruptured causing the issue. I called and got the OEM p/n from Honda and gave it to PSD to cross for me. They found the part and ordered it for me for the same afternoon and also delivered it to my work for me. this was HUGE since I had no other way of getting it from them. But…read moreI went in there today, because my car told me I needed some oil in it so I looked up the kind of oil that my car takes and I yelped for the closest auto parts store which happened to be this one. I also knew I needed windshield wiper fluid...my car is what was making a weird noise when I turn so I thought maybe I needed power steering fluid. I went in I was helped very quickly and given solid answers to all my questions. I put a quart of oil in my car, my car took all of the windshield wiper fluid, and my power steering fluid was literally dry... I am so glad I stopped in and I fixed three problems in my car for under 30 bucks I felt like such a champ when I left! My poor car was driving me around needing all these things...I fixed her today! Save money on going to a mechanic and do it yourself! The guys at O'Reilly's were super helpful me out and saved me 15 bucks by offering me a product that was the same just less expensive...thank you!

I went here 5/11 after buying a car from Norwalk 5/1, I went and made an appointment for all the red urgent messages on the app Tire Rotation and Front mirror cleaning. They told me I'd have to pay for both which was a surprise as it has a active warranty and I only had for a few days and thought once a vehicle is delivered it would be taken care of before purchase. They referred me back to Norwalk and once Norwalk approved the cleaning they told me the vehicle was up to Tesla standards and is fine and cleared the tire erro in the vehicle with me in it. Sadly it came back the next day. I brought this up to the service advisor Jose Mancilla on my appointment 5/11, I kid you not he looked at the tires said it's good tread measure it and said that they seem new so it wouldn't make sense to charge you as these errors can be from a software update to a glitch ect. Again the care was cleared of the error it came back and is requiring a tire rotation. They instead decided to push the minor stuff, things like cabin filters , wiper blades ect. And we are talking about spending 340 in total. This is where it not only are they shady they actually did not want a paper trail. I made an appointment for 5/14 at 8:30. The issues I listed are wind nose at speeds above 70 mph like a whistling and rattle. When I showed up I told the advisor that I forgot to mention it can seat from left and right at those same speeds. He looked concerned and had a tech drive it with me in it. The tech said everything is driving fine and this is Normal his word not mine " turbulence" for road noise and addressed the swaying as either user error or harsh roads. Again this man tested it and drove the car.!!!!!! After we arrived he gets out has a very awkward conversation either the advisor points to the rims and walks away with him for like 7 minutes. When the advisor comes back he brushed off my concerns and says the issues I have are not a to be taken care off by warranty. I asked why and he responded if it can be adjusted it's out of pocket replaced its warranty and my concerns are adjustments. He then said don't worry about today's visit as they will do me a solid and take this off the record and cancel the appointments so they don't have to invoice me. I took this car to Thousand Oaks Tesla 6/4. The project price was 240 for a tire rotation/inspection. Guess what. THE CAR NEEDED ALL WHEELS AND TIRES REPLACED CAUSE THEY WERE BENT AND NOT UP TO TESLA STANDARDS AND IT WAS COVERED BY WARRANTY. THE TECHNICIAN EVEN PUT DAMAGE DONE BY PREVIOUS OWNER. When I asked how could they tell they told me any technician can tell the car is having problems driving straight and if they told me otherwise they either are lying or not a technician. I was tied up at work, however, I managed to give Kartek Automotive in Culver City, a call, about 6 minutes before they close, on a Thursday. My car had not started that morning, which forced me to pay for a ride to work that day. I was very impressed when someone actually answered the phone, right before their business hours ended. A friendly, understanding, and professional gentleman, identifying himself as Carlos, took my call and answered my questions. I gave him the make and model of my vehicle, then Carlos gave me some pricing of what I thought the problem might be pertaining to my fuel pump. Carlos stated that no work would be done on my car until a complete and thorough inspection was performed first, in order to identify the actual issue. I told him I appreciated that. I asked for pricing about a few additional services. Carlos put me on a brief hold, as he ran the numbers and came back with the cost. It sounded reasonable over the phone. I had my car towed to Kartek Automotive at 5879 Washington Bl. Culver City, CA 90232 Friday morning. I arrived early because I had to drop off my car and then catch a ride to work again. Kartek was still closed. I waited until I saw someone approach their office's front door. The official business hours had not started yet, so I did not want to intrude on their morning routine. I walked over and introduced myself to the gentleman that was opening for the day. I found out it was Carlos. The same person that took my call the night before. Carlos said he was ready to help. He remembered our previous conversation and understood that I would need to leave for work as soon as possible. He collected some information from me and I gave him a list of maintenance services I was interested in receiving if I could afford it all. I left him my car key and $1700 cash deposit. I was informed that I would receive a phone call in a couple of hours, after my car received a complete and thorough inspection/diagnostics, before any work was done. Nearly two hours later, on the dot, I received a call from Carlos. He explained that it was not my fuel pump. It turns out it was my starter and a bad battery. He gave me pricing for the repairs. Not cheap, however, reasonable for auto repairs. I asked about the other services I had inquired about and he was already way ahead of me. He had my quotes ready and also disclosed some essential performance and safety repairs that I should consider also. Again, pricing was reasonable. Cars are not cheap to run and maintain. My car is fourteen years old. It is cheaper to keep her. I have a 4-cylinder Civic that saves me a ton of money on gas and insurance. Repairs and scheduled maintenance are just part of the responsibility. This was my first experience with Kartek so I did not know how this would turn out. I put all of my eggs in one basket, just on the intuitive idea that Carlos was an actual professional, that wanted the best care for my car as much as I did. My gamble paid off and I got my wheels back Saturday and paid my balance. My car runs the best it's ever run before! A shit-ton of work was done, all in the matter of just over one day's time. It's damn near beyond belief! OUTSTANDING TECHNICIANS and top notch customer service every step of the way!!! They are a cash or Zelle only run business. Expect heavy processing fees if you choose to use anything else. You should know that going in. This place knows what they are doing and they do it all in a timely fashion. If you like prime rib, you go to Lawry's. If you like incredible sushi, you go to Nobu. If you like the best surf & turf you go to Mastro's. You get what you pay for. If you have a fast-food budget, maybe Kartek is not for you. They use only the best ingredients/components for your car's best possible outcome. The technicians are skilled craftspeople. Kartek is all about detail, quality, service, understanding, and professionalism. True value is worth paying for. Integrity is difficult to find these days. Kartek is truly priceless.
