I want to start off with a disclaimer. I bought my Tesla in January 2022 before Elon went batshit crazy. Today I took my Model Y in for a cracked windshield. The entire process was incredibly efficient and almost pleasant. Dropping the car off and getting a free owner took at most 10 minutes. The loaner (a Model Y) came with 200 miles per day and free supercharging. I was told that my car may be ready by the end of the day, or the next day at the latest. I was dreaming of all the places that I would go to when I was called about 3 hours later. Returning the loaner and picking up my car took about 5 minutes. TLDR Trust your gut Stay away for your own good and finances and find any other Tesla center This is the shadiest place I have ever been to I'm not exaggerating when I say it's downright awful and can get you in serious danger. I went here 5/11 after buying a car from Norwalk 5/1, I went and made an appointment for all the red urgent messages on the app Tire Rotation and Front mirror cleaning. They told me I'd have to pay for both which was a surprise as it has a active warranty and I only had for a few days and thought once a vehicle is delivered it would be taken care of before purchase. They referred me back to Norwalk and once Norwalk approved the cleaning they told me the vehicle was up to Tesla standards and is fine and cleared the tire erro in the vehicle with me in it. Sadly it came back the next day. I brought this up to the service advisor Jose Mancilla on my appointment 5/11, I kid you not he looked at the tires said it's good tread measure it and said that they seem new so it wouldn't make sense to charge you as these errors can be from a software update to a glitch ect. Again the care was cleared of the error it came back and is requiring a tire rotation. They instead decided to push the minor stuff, things like cabin filters , wiper blades ect. And we are talking about spending 340 in total. This is where it not only are they shady they actually did not want a paper trail. I made an appointment for 5/14 at 8:30. The issues I listed are wind nose at speeds above 70 mph like a whistling and rattle. When I showed up I told the advisor that I forgot to mention it can seat from left and right at those same speeds. He looked concerned and had a tech drive it with me in it. The tech said everything is driving fine and this is Normal his word not mine " turbulence" for road noise and addressed the swaying as either user error or harsh roads. Again this man tested it and drove the car.!!!!!! After we arrived he gets out has a very awkward conversation either the advisor points to the rims and walks away with him for like 7 minutes. When the advisor comes back he brushed off my concerns and says the issues I have are not a to be taken care off by warranty. I asked why and he responded if it can be adjusted it's out of pocket replaced its warranty and my concerns are adjustments. He then said don't worry about today's visit as they will do me a solid and take this off the record and cancel the appointments so they don't have to invoice me. I took this car to Thousand Oaks Tesla 6/4. The project price was 240 for a tire rotation/inspection. Guess what. THE CAR NEEDED ALL WHEELS AND TIRES REPLACED CAUSE THEY WERE BENT AND NOT UP TO TESLA STANDARDS AND IT WAS COVERED BY WARRANTY. THE TECHNICIAN EVEN PUT DAMAGE DONE BY PREVIOUS OWNER. When I asked how could they tell they told me any technician can tell the car is having problems driving straight and if they told me otherwise they either are lying or not a technician. We had a conversation about Tesla stopping production on the Model X and the Model S He helped me test drive Model X with full self driving capabilities. This has been one of the worst service center experiences I've had. I've come in three times for the same issue with my Tesla Cybertruck, and instead of fixing it, they just keep resetting it. The problem is still there. The air pump i constantly working regardless if it's saved locations or not It's frustrating because they don't really listen to what I'm explaining just saying the computer doesn't show anything. Want to be miserable and know you have been totally ripped off and lied to, buy a Tesla. The Tesla Dealership in Culver City/Westchester is one of the worst dealers you can go to and also they sell Teslas which are just junk. We went there and actually bought a Tesla, which is one of the wort mistakes I have ever made in my life. It is hard pressure there, with the prices, I kid you not changing by the minute. The woman that took care of us listened to none of my concerns, put the car in my husband's name, because she did not listen. Forgot to tell us there is no spare, the batteries can never be charged above 80% and a few of the batteries have blown up in accidents killing people. I asked her to show me how to use everything, she said I would make an appointment for that. I did. She did not spend the time needed so I knew the car, which again is junk. It has no outside bumpers, there is no trim to speak off, the seats are vegan--whatever that is supposed to mean--and heaven forbid you scratch one it will tear. I was told we had to put 250$ down right then to hold the car. What we were never told was that we were not getting that back as credit toward the purchase of the car. Why did they still need my 250$ when I bought the car. They are thieves. I was never told about costs just to use the screen. It is next to impossible to see out the back window. The car comes with nothing. You have to buy even a tray. The windows are not even UV spay, it is just very dark paint. The tires are filled with foam so if you get a flat, again, no spare, you will be waiting hours for Tesla to show up and maybe they will have a tire, likely not. I was rushed, I was made miserable and again, the worst mistake I have ever made. read more

Overcharges, Dishonesty & Ignoring the Real Issue - Avoid This Service Center I normally don't post reviews but boy I had a frustrating and disappointing experience at the Tesla Service Center at 5840 W Centinela, Los Angeles, CA. This place is all about charging as much as they can get away with, rather than actually fixing the issue. * My original estimate was $127.50, but somehow, they kept increasing it to nearly $1,000--without any valid explanation. * Jose falsely claimed that diagnostics were "required" and insisted I had approved them, which I never did. * They told me diagnostics would be pro-rated, but instead, they kept adding charges and manipulating the bill. * After a lot of back-and-forth, the price was lowered, but only because I fought against their tactics. * Wesley eventually got involved, and I was able to approve a final cost of $325.48 MOSTLY FOR 'DIAGNOSTICS', but at that point, the damage was done--I had already wasted too much time negotiating unnecessary charges and didn't get the repair I needed. To make matters worse, they didn't even fix the real problem--the charge port plastic flap, which sometimes doesn't open. Instead, they did whatever they wanted, rather than what was actually needed. This is a very strange and untrustworthy place where the service team prioritizes overcharging customers instead of addressing actual repairs. If you take your Tesla here, be prepared to fight against surprise charges, inflated estimates, and unnecessary services you never requested. Terrible customer service. My son needed his windshield repaired ; He got mixed up in the day and had to leave out of the country the same day. I tried to get an earlier appointment or leave the car for the adjuster to come and review in his absence. Stephanie who answered the call was rushed, short and unhelpful: I asked to talk to Irwin the manager but she said he is busy and will call me. I asked politely for her to accommodate to no avail ; Her answer: Come back next week at your appointment day, we have no space in the lot ( sic)!!! He's friendly, efficient, and ensures your experience is 100%. We changed our wipers, cabin air filters (we change it every 6 months), and fixed a rear window issue. Within 45 min, our car was finished and charged up! The filters are made in Germany. Don't read the 1 star reviews. Trust someone who is goal oriented and keeps friendly customer service in mind. Came here to drop off my vehicle since a tire was making a weird sound. Got on the Tesla app made an appt. 2 days later Dropped off my vehicle hassle free, in and out in less than 15mins. I had Bryan go on a test drive to address my issues & concerns & so he could also hear that rattle sound. In the meantime, I got a loaner w/ free super charging,FSD & hov sticker. Employees, kept updating me about my baby on a daily basis via the app. 3 days later issued got resolved, came back got my car & was gone in less than 5mins. AGAIN, hassle free. This place has great communication at least w/ ME. They were all extremely nice, professional and welcoming. I was very impressed w/ the customer service I received from Bryan, Wesley and David thank you all for being so nice. Was having a prob with my axle making a weird noise. (I learned later the issue is called a loose half-strut) Made my appointment in the app and when I brought it in they wanted me to sign a damage release waiver! Like what? You guys are supposed to be professionals but you can't be held accountable for damaging my car? They said it was Tesla policy that would be required at any dealership...and I know this was BS because i made a different appt at a nearby service center and they fixed the prob easy and didn't require a waiver. If you want to lose hours of your day and get zero done with a huge price tag ... you found your place. I came in for 1 tire being damaged and left with 2. Zero accountability from this location. When I left their construction site of a service center, I spoke with Nathan who told me to drive back. Wesley, who supposedly was going to help me out, mentioned it was their bolt and that they are going under construction. He had it patched up quickly (45min) and was no where to be found after the incident. I communicated with Nathan that I needed someone to explain what occurred and what the condition of my tire was. How were they going to make this right? They said they will call me back and never did. I had to reach out 5 times with constant message threads with 48 hour response waits. They waited until the thread closed. It's truly a nightmare as a first time Tesla owner to receive this kind of treatment. I called around and found out that this location has this reputation already. Please avoid if you wanted to be treated as a human being and with common curtesy. Imagine a DMV with fake smiles and same exact treatment. Hugely makes you regret purchasing the car! Proceed with caution. read more

These reviews are a little absurd but in my experience I bought my Tesla Model 3 almost 2 years ago. I haven't had any major concerns about the vehicle but the times I did when I have gone to this location closer to home, from the very start of me arriving the workers are VERY kind and informative. Today I had José greet me both employees listened to my reason of the visit and any questions I had answered. Cameron had also worked on my car right away he knew what was causing the issue on a small buzzing noise on my door. He was very confident on fixing the problem and in a timely matter. I left my car they provided me with a rental and was finished in LESS than an hour. Before I left Cameron did want me to confirm that problem was solved and was good as new!! Steady Interactions with representatives, most recently Melissa and her supervisor, were notably unhelpful, giving the impression that they are accustomed to complaints yet remain inflexible on their stance to "pay and pick up your car." Attitude. It was one of those ongoing conversations over the course of weeks that I wish they actually recorded the conversations to review for customer satisfaction. Not to mention every time I bring my model S back in, after paying nearly $17,000 for a surprise battery, I'm constantly pushed to buy new Teslas. It's weird. The lack of genuine customer engagement and resolution is a far cry from the satisfactory service I've experienced in the past. Moreover, the unexpectedly high costs, coupled with a feeling of having no options, have left me disillusioned. As a result, I can no longer recommend Tesla to my friends and family, and I've decided this will be my last purchase from them. read more

I took my car to this location to service for a different issue and had asked about my steering wheel concern, which the Torrance Service Center said was not a manufacturing defect but instead "wear and tear" and that a replacement would cost upwards of $1300. Spoke to the Torrance GM and he said it was "black and white" and there was no way this is covered under warranty. Torrance even made up some 6 month interior warranty that isn't mentioned ANYWHERE in the owners manual. At the time of service, my car had been in my possession for roughly 6 months and about 6k miles. Two months later, I took my vehicle to Centinela for another issue and asked about the steering wheel. The Service Advisor and Tech looked over the car and agreed the steering wheel was not wear and tear and said it would be replaced under warranty. The advisor was awesome, keeping me posted about my vehicle status, letting me know to proactively delay my appointment since parts hadn't arrived (vs showing up to find out), etc. They even had my car in the backlot vs out in the open street when I was done (vs Torrance, which left my car un-PIN protected with the card key out in the cup holder and visible after hours). Highly recommend this location for your service needs. They actually listen to concerns and are reasonable, and take good precautions to safeguard my vehicle when service was completed. read more

The worst tesla location ever , they make you hate Tesla never ever go to this location. You made an appointment and waited a week to appear on time ? Doesn't matter they still make you wait for half an hour. You thought you had the key so your belongings are safe ? Think twice because they drive your car without asking you even tho my car was not getting serviced. Imagine an area with 15 customers standing there without knowing why they are waiting. If Tesla wasn't electric, this car would be sold based off this experience. As far as the staff goes, I'd give them a 5 star. The experience gets a 1. Showed up for my first appointment which was scheduled a month in advanced and was told it didn't go through in the system. "It registered but didn't register." Scheduled another appointment (went through this time). Brought my car in for an infotainment upgrade ($1600+). Got home to realize some glitch in the upgrade added 100k miles to my car. Spent two weeks trying to get in touch with this Tesla. Calls, emails and in-app messaging. No response. Had to drive here just to get a response. Mind you, this location is far as hell from me, but the only location that had an appointment available for my original appt. They did take my Tesla in same-day which I appreciate.. however, one fix led to another issue. This time a safety issue with autopilot and live traffic viewing. Still no fix. Taking my car to another location in the hopes these issues don't continue. I try not to leave negative reviews unless the experience is THAT bad. Shouldn't have to go in-person just to get a business to take you serious. Then again, maybe Tesla should make it easier to get in contact with a human. read more

I came to this service 3 hours away for the trim sound on the front passenger door of my Model 3 Highland model vehicle that I bought 1 month ago and they did not solve my problem. Although I told them that the same sound was still coming from the door, they told me that the sound was now at a minimum level (The noise was at a lower level when I returned the vehicle) and this sound has been there since the day I bought my vehicle and it bothers me. Received my car back damaged and when I let them no about it there was no care about it. Asked to speak with a manager and someone by the name of Jose stated they were a manager and I found out a few days later that he lied. His advice was that I should go to another Tesla service center. No apology for the damage to my car, or my part not arriving , and they lost my car key and stated that he needs to make sure that I really left it and I can use my app and come back to get it once he confirms I really left it! They refused to work on my car after I had brought it twice. I explained to them that the AC had not been working well and cooling off. I have been driving the car for almost three years and know when there is a problem. They didn't want to listen, and I felt like talking to break wall. They kept saying they couldn't do anything if the AC passed the diagnostic test. This is a concern. They don't know what to do if there's an issue based on the customer's experience. The rigidity is unbelievable, and I never want to repurchase a Tesla car. I had to drive the car without proper working AC in the hot summer for over 10 days before getting another appointment. I was stressed and couldn't put my dogs in the car. This is one of the worst experience I have dealt with any car services. read more

I just had a service and it was one of the best experiences with a car repair place to date. Kyle came to my garage from the Tesla - Centinela location on time and proceeded to check my brake fluid, top off my windshield wiper fluid, rotated my tires and then answered all my questions with lots of knowledge. I came in here with a million different questions because it seems like online message boards have so much conflicting info, I also went to the Del Amo location and they were not helpful at all and actually left me more confused, came in Sunday and spoke with Darieus, he was professional and helpful as can be. He didn't pretend to know things he didn't know the answers to and made sure to confirm with a coworker, the things he did know he answered confidently. This has to be the worst company for so called customer service on the planet. My vehicle has range, air conditioning, cosmetic and screen issues since delivery! Melanie and her supervisor do absolutely nothing to repair these issues. Their answers are "oh it's outside interference" for every issue. How the heck is my battery malfunction due to outside interference. Is this what Elon Musk trained his team to say to wipe his hands of the issue. Stay away from Tesla. The cars range are less then 100 miles, malfunction constantly and the services centers do absolutely nothing to repair the issues that exist since the assembly line.
