i brought my car up there at 11:30am for a crack in my windshield. I previously called and they said it would take 45 minutes. As i arrived one hour later they said they didn't have the glass. Every 10 minutes they would say that the glass would be there in 5 min finally it's 3:00pm and the glass is finally here. Yet again they still have to put the glass on. over 4 hours when they said 45. if i would of know this i would of just dropped my car off there and picked it up later. very upset with this place. read more

Great auto replacement place to go to! The service here is friendly, efficient, and I think they actually care about what they do. Got my passenger glass window replaced here. There were scuff marks and cracks on the side panel underneath the window that the mechanic told me about to ensure that he was not responsible for them. This I thought was a professional gesture. I definitely recommend taking the time to drive up here instead of your local shop!! Very fast service! I went here after my car was broken into and my window completely busted out. I called and was quoted $120 and was told it would take about 20 mins. I got there and the guy started immediately on my vehicle. It was actually less than 20 minutes, and they vacuumed the glass out of my back seat! I would recommend this place to anybody. The only downside is they don't accept debit/credit. But they do have an ATM inside their lobby, so that was good. read more

I have been a customer here for over 10 years. Each time they beat the competition by 50%+ easily. Keep in mind that this glass like any aftermarket glass is not OEM glass so small details like the dot matrix pattern or shade of tint built into the glass will not be spot on. It is probably all made in China glass but there have never been issues. Most recently I had a windshield done for $143 installed with tax. I went on a Saturday and had to wait only 15 minutes. The install took about 20 minutes. They perfectly saved the window tags for inspection and registration as well as the EZ tag. The staff is friendly and cooperative with the customers. I purchased new OEM rubber seals that go around the windshield to retain the stock look and fit. The installer took the seal and put it in without a word. In most other places they always complain about customer provided parts and say "since it is not from us there is no guarantee"; not here. I would point anyone who needs glass to this shop. They will even install used glass that you provide if you are on a budget and can get things like door glass cheaply. They do not do tint. Payment is cash only. No credit cards are accepted but there is an ATM machine in the waiting area. My next windshield replacement will be in a 2010 BMW 328i. As of the date of this review they wanted $165 installed for a new windshield with the rain sensing system. That is an amazing price. The dealer wants close to $1000. I'll be back to Uniglass soon. read more

BEST in town for a windshield replacement. The owner comes across as harsh because of his strong accent but don't let that scare you away. He's a great guy. Just recently (Memorial weekend) I went in to have my rear glass replaced but they mixed up the request and changed the front. Had a bad crack in my windshield and needed it replaced. Called and got a quote for $110 w/o tax for the replacement. Very reasonable considering some of the other quotes I received. I have an older Toyota sedan. Brought the car in early Saturday morning and they started the replacement right away. The place isn't in a very good neighborhood and it could use a slight "face lift" but that's all cosmetic. Service is very straightforward and to the point, not a lot of friendly banter, which is fine with me, I enjoyed the directness. It took about 45 minutes from start to finish and I was out of there with a new windshield. I didn't leave 5 stars because the tech who replaced my windshield didn't properly hide/tuck away some of the wiring for my rear view mirror, so it shows slightly at the top of my window, just slightly. Other than that it was great and relatively inexpensive. It's been over a week and the windshield is holding up very well. I'm happy with the service. All in it cost me about $120, and they ONLY TAKE CASH... They have an ATM in the lobby if you forget. read more

Everything was ok until I removed the tape from the windshield the next day and found several chips in the paint. The cowl piece had several cracks and pieces missing that were broken off during the installation of the new windshield. I called and the guy that answered the phone tried to tell me that all trucks like mine have broken cowl pieces or that they had cracks in them. After a few minutes of back and forth he then tells me that the scrap yard has plenty of those basically admitting they broke it but he wasn't going to do anything about the issues. I knew better than to go to a "discount" place because I will end up paying more now for the repairs than going to a reputable glass company. Use them at your own risk! 3 days later and it's raining, I come out to my truck and there is water everywhere and the headliner is soaked!!! read more

Second experience with Uni Glass over the years and consistent both times. Absolute best prices around and worth the 30 min drive to save over $100.00 from local quotes. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Call before you go to get a quote and make sure the glass is in stock. Once you are there, the installation takes less than 45 min. Park in the lot across the street and walk through the shop and gate to get into the business area. There will be a small amount of glass left to vacuum/ wipe up and maybe a black grease spot here or there to clean, but I am ok with that and would rather not upcharge for immaculate cleaning detail. The shop, restroom and building environment is a little rustic but again I would rather save $ and not be paying for expensive overhead. Do remember to take cash (not a check or card). ATM is onsite for $2.75 fee. Provided with instructions for windshield aftercare. Will continue to have glasswork done here. read more

I would love to no stars whatsoever. I called Uniglass and asked about their auto glass replacement services since unfortunately my car had been broken into. They asked me for my address and I started to give it to them and was immediately berated by the thick-accented man on the phone, shouting questions about which highway I was closest to. I tried to say I'm by 288 and Almeda, I'm new to the area and don't know much else besides that. He continued to shout at me something about my location compared to the 610 loop and I tried to say I didn't know what he was talking about but he kept barreling over me. After a good 5 minutes of his loud condescension, I eventually just hung up. I think it's really substandard for a business to yell over the phone at their potential customers and demand that I know all the nearby highways WHEN I'M BRAND NEW TO THE HOUSTON AREA and honestly I'm having quite a bad day because as I said MY CAR WAS BROKEN INTO AND MY BELONGINGS WERE STOLEN. How is there no semblance of customer service? How is it that they don't have any access to google maps or any other maps app? JUST LOOK UP THE ADDRESS I TOLD YOU INSTEAD OF SHOUTING AT ME IN BARELY DISCERNIBLE ENGLISH. Complete lack in customer service, I will absolutely NEVER use this service and I definitely don't recommend it. Your services may be great, I don't know, but maybe consider replacing whoever answers your phones because he's not doing you any favors. read more

These Guys are Good, Fast and Cheap, No they are not in a fancy high tech building but that's why there is no overhead and have affordable prices that are half or more than half in some cases than their competitors. These guys cut to the chase. You walk in, they ask you what make and model, if you are looking for a windshield or side window, gives you a quote, and then tells you how long the wait is. Cut and Dry. After the windshield is installed they give you the do's and don'ts and accept cash only unless you use their ATM machine. read more
