Julian gave me great customer service! I didn't catch the young Asian lady's name who started to ring me up, but she was nice, too. I only had 3 items to purchase since the item I really came for was out of stock. The lady was nice enough to check for me, and she brought alternatives in case I wanted one of those instead. Most employees just say, "Oh we're out," or "Whatever we have out there is all we have, sorry." I appreciate that she actually went to make sure they were really out, and even more impressed that she took the time to show me similar items. As I was about to check out, I asked about the white zip-up makeup case behind the counter. I had been peeping it while waiting in line. How do I get that? Lol I was told that it was a one day promotion and that you could get it free with a $35 Neutrogena purchase. I had her hold my items and quickly ran back to get stuff I would use just so I could get the bag. I am a sucker, especially for things that have my favorite color on it. It also came with a white terry headband and a matching pair of those cuff thingies so water won't dribble down your wrists and arms while you wash your face. I still think they're kind of lame, but I guess they serve their purpose (I already tried them, lol). I went in to replenish my skincare products, but I'm keeping those a secret! I can't reveal my magic products, lol!! Here's a hint: you really DO NOT have to spend a lot of money on a great skincare line! I was greeted immediately and told the employee what I was looking for she provided me with her recommendations and knew exactly what products I used just from descriptions and brand names. How is it this bad? Unfortunately had to pop in here this past weekend, while shopping Towngate with a friend who needed to pick up a few items. Let me emphasize this, if I wasn't in the shopping center with a friend who needed to stop in, I would have absolutely drove the extra 30 minutes to sephora at kohls and avoided it. Much nicer employees. This location is appalling. It is one of the dirtiest stores I have ever been in. Filthy windows, dirty floors, check out counters and displays caked in dirt. Literal dirt, dust and left over products. Not a single display was organized or stocked. If you need any type of assistance, finding a product, you have to walk up to the cash registers. We literally had to follow two different employees who were wandering aimlessly in the store to ask for help, despite saying very loudly near them "I wish they had more help here" it's like they heard us and ran away. Every employee we interacted with was so incredibly rude. No smiles, they act like we're bothering them when we ask for help finding items. Items that they, the employee, can't even find. It's no surprise the lines are excruciatingly long, because the employees are too busy socializing with each other. They make you feel like you're the rude one for interrupting their conversations about their new injectable doctor that "they all go to" when all you're trying to do is check out ! They bark at you for your number, no hello or polite greeting, no thank you for shopping, and zero eye contact. Received better service from the guard at the door. The male workers here are nice. This review is for the skinny African American girl with the wet & wavy 22 inch. I asked her if they had the new cloud perfume in stock and she gave me a blank stare and said "noooooo" no follow up info or anything. So I said ok and walked away. Then I heard her talking to her coworkers saying how they have a tester in the back and how good it smelled. Girl be fr all I wanted to do was smell it you could've said you had one in the back in case I was interested in just smelling it.
