They were very efficient and very fast but the woman I spoke with prior to the move ensured me there would be 4-5 wardrobe boxes for all of my hanging clothes, they only brought one. I had to make 3 more trips in my personal car to pick up the rest of my clothes which defeats the purpose of hiring movers. I messaged the woman back on Yelp about this and she left me on read with no offers of a solution for over a year. About a year later I decide to give them another chance and bring up the issue with the wardrobe boxes before. She offers a $50 discount and this time I arrange for 3 people to come and move me from a first floor apartment to a single story home. The most inefficient move I have ever experienced, they took longer to move than when I lived on the third floor and the guys had to wait for the elevator. They moved at a glacial pace and I ended up paying for 3 guys for the same amount of time as it took the first time I moved. On top of all of this they didn't wear gloves or wash their hands so my light furniture has black handprints on it from the moving dust on their hands. One of the guys dragged a piece of furniture and broke off a leg and I watched him use a piece of plastic to wedge the leg back in. Very unprofessional movers in my opinion, only one guy was taking his job seriously and trying to get me moved quickly the other two just lingered around waiting for him to move and package all my things. I didn't see a point in reaching out about the damage or the handprints as the customer service had already proved once your move is complete they could not care less about you. I'm happy I'm in a home I purchased so I never have to experience these movers again.

The pricing is fair, TRANSPARENT (no hidden fees or extra add on charges at all), and well worth every single dollar. David contacted me immediately after my initial Yelp request. We booked and I paid the deposit. The…read moreday before the move he called to confirm and gave me a window for arrival. Told me he could give me an additional discount if I completed payment. He had been so responsive I paid the remaining balance. Day of move they did not call during the window to let me know they were coming and DID NOT SHOW - although I had called and left multiple messages. After this negative review posted (day of scheduled move) I heard from David almost immediately demanding I take down my review or he would not do the job. He said driver got delayed and my phone number showed as potential spam. Whether it did or didn't, I left him several voicemails with my name/number. No call was unacceptable. Plus he had called me on this same number at least three times prior to move date. I cancelled the job with him and fortunately found a same day mover that could help move the few large items we couldn't lift. I also received a call from David's third - party vendor contracted to do my move. He explained that he had a flat tire and was on his way but it would take 2.5 hours to arrive. I let him know I cancelled with David due to lack of communication and being on a tight time constraint to turn in keys. I encouraged both vendors to communicate and respond in real time to avoid this in the future. UPDATE: Later that same day I received a nice, professionally written, message from Jennifer with the company. She apologized and let me know a refund would be initiated but could take up to 14 days. I told her I would update my review once I saw the refund came through. As of today I have received 1 of the 2 refunds for the total amount (they were on different cards) and she verified both were initiated. While my experience with this company was not good, I do appreciate Jennifer's response and following through on my refund so I increased my rating from 1 to 2 stars. I do hope the best for this business but there are improvements needed.
