Tim Hesford and Marc Rinaldi helped move my possessions in to a unit on the third story of an apartment building. I had a 14-15 foot moving truck and two cars packed full of VERY heavy items, yet they completed the work in under two hours. My family barely had to lift a finger to help them out, and the movers offered to not just bring the boxes and furniture in, but to help situate them in their respective rooms. I sometimes saw a single person carrying an entire piece of furniture up the stairs by themselves. I never saw either mover take a break despite the close to 90 degree heat and high humidity. If they did take a break, it was so brief that I didn't notice. They brought their own water. I have no idea how they managed to move everything so easily and quickly. The average person would have collapsed. They were extremely polite, they didn't damage anything, and, before meeting me, the company kept me updated on who would be helping and when they would arrive. Even when there was an emergency - one of my original movers was in a car accident on moving day - this company managed to find me an extra mover last minute. They were extremely professional, helpful, and respectful. I recommend them 100%. read more

WOW!! I can't really explain at how efficient, careful, knowledgeable, uplifting, smiles included, never complained, entirely happy to do anything asked, confident, just good all around respectable young men that helped me move my son from my new house that my son took care of until I could move in to his apartment, of course on the 3rd floor. I've had to move my son a few times and it's taken us all day. Much thanks to the 3 young men, TIM, RYAN and BRENNAN. They saved my back plus gave us all a happy more relaxed move. I contacted multiple movers for quotes on getting help for an upcoming move. I was astounded at how expensive most companies were. Then I found UniMovers in Cedar Rapids and their rates were so reasonable, I couldn't book fast enough. I set the date up with Dady, who called me back promptly and was friendly and professional on the phone. Cameron D and John R showed up full of energy even though I was the second move of the day for them. They packed the truck efficiently and carefully - taking more care with my stuff than I would have. We were in a real pinch and College Movers were able to help us out quickly. They were lifesavers! Johnathan and Owen were fantastic. They were respectful and super hard workers. They had to 1-move furniture from a house, 2-unpack a 20' truck stuffed to the gills, 3-move truck furniture into house and 4-repack truck with furniture that was originally in house. I had 3 of the best college students load my PODS today. Ryan, Marc and Tyler were timely, absolutely amazing in their ability to strategically get all my items into both PODS. Friendly, fantastic at their job and very focused on the care of my items. I would highly recommend both this team of 3 as well as UniMovers. This is the second time that I've used this company and again, they did not disappoint. Ryan, Logan and Ryan were extremely professional and took great care of my belongings. I moved from a storage unit into a house. Even though I rented the largest truck uhaul offers, there were still small pieces that wouldn't fit. The guys were helpful enough to load these small items into their vehicle so I wouldn't have to make another trip.
