I went back in to get it redone and the artist made up new lines so I have faded lines under the newer ones, it does not look good. Sections of the redone lines are now fading. I spent $400 on tattoos that are fading for the second time. Some lines are not straight and look bad. I'm going to have to get them all redone by another artist. I sent multiple friends to this artist before the tattoos faded and every single one of theirs has faded or is completely gone now. They were a little rude and couldn't hold a single conversation the entire 5+ hours of being tattooed. Save yourself the time and money and go to a different artist.

I got my conch pierced here a few days ago by the owner, Jon, and had a bad experience. I've had…read moreother piercings before (at other shops), and this level of pain and swelling following the piercing was not normal for me. At first, he tried to use a hoop/horseshoe, which I knew wasn't appropriate for a healing conch, so I declined. I then asked about using a 16g, but he told me an 18g was fine. He used a regular 18g earring with a butterfly back. He didn't have flat-back jewelry and I was told swelling wouldn't be an issue. By the second day, I had significant pain and swelling. The jewelry was pressing into my ear, and the back was rubbing against my neck, causing irritation. While out of town, I saw another piercer who immediately said the jewelry was inappropriate--it was too short, not meant for a conch piercing, and the angle from the back was incorrect, which was likely causing the pain. She also noted bruising and told me it needed to be removed right away. She explained 16g jewelry should have been used. After further research following the piercing, I also learned that 18g jewelry in a conch has a higher chance of migration, which I wasn't aware of beforehand. I went back to request a refund but was refused. They offered to redo it or move forward with another piercing, but I wasn't comfortable moving forward with him after this experience. I would not recommend this place and suggest doing thorough research before getting pierced here.

I finally felt like I HAD to leave a review after going to the dentist today. I was fully expecting to get yelled at for having my tongue pierced, but instead my dentist told me it was one of the best tongue piercings she's ever seen. She said it was pierced perfectly down the middle, and after making me do a few tongue dances lol, she said the placement was done so well that it's unlikely to grind against my bottom front teeth. The issue was with Nate, another artist, that Toby brought down for some advice. I wasn't loving the design and was met with hostility and a cocky attitude by Nate. "I think Toby made a great design and you should just go with it". I responded with "it's on my body forever, so I want to like it" and he became super pushy. All the designs I suggested were shot down and he kept saying I needed something bigger with thick lines- despite me being clear that is not what I wanted. Toby did a great job with the cover up, but I found out AFTER the session that this was his first time covering a tattoo. I would have appreciated more transparency. Over all- Toby was great to work with, but Nate put a damper on things with his attitude.
