She loves the slides, the trampolines and the ball pit area in the toddler spot. However, most of my thoughts aren't as positive. To have not been here that many years it looks so run down. We haven't been in a year and it seems like 15 years. It's dirty, things are broken, and again.. DIRTY. Spaces like this just take daily maintenance to keep them great, such as wiping down the walls, tightening screws before the item breaks, scrubbing services that are high contact. (I have worked at a children's museum and know that a place like this can be hard to keep up when it is well loved, but day to day care makes it much easier as well as having staff not just glued to the front desk) I guess I was more disappointed because we arrived right as they opened and you can tell nothing was vacuumed from the day before, or simple things like picking foam scraps off the trampoline. We likely won't come back anytime soon, but if you are not a clean freak like me - your toddler will probably enjoy it!

There is a few fun things to do in this small town with little ones but I have to say one of the best times my girls had was here at Miss Colleen's Play Zone. One of the highlights for them was the giant ball pit. You can't see it from the outside looking in but there is a hidden slide my daughter found that goes right into the pit. She loved that!! What I loved the most about this place was it was baby friendly for my 1.5 year old who I'm always nervous about getting on the bigger equipment and getting hurt. It's set up in a way that it's not that easy for the littlest ones to get up to the climbing areas that the bigger kids can. There was so much for her entertainment on the floor area to do while her big sister (4.5yrs) was busy climbing through the giant wooden fort with slides above the ground level. A small tip is to make sure to pack some socks for your children as they need this to play. Miss Colleen was so sweet to offer us some that she had since we didn't realize this and showed up in sandals. I so wish we had this where we live in a small town of North Central Florida. This would be a big hit for mamas and there little ones trying to get out of the Florida heat and keep their children busy. If we end up in Hartsville again I am absolutely returning with my girls for a visit. We made the hour drive from South Carolina to visit Monster Mini Golf in Monroe, North Carolina after seeing a TikTok about another Monster Mini Golf location in South Carolina. When we realized the Monroe location was actually about an hour closer to us, we decided to check it out, and we are so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, we had an absolute blast. The entire facility was spotless, incredibly well designed, and packed with fun for all ages. We loved the 18 holes of monster mini golf, had a great time at the mini bowling lanes, challenged ourselves in the laser maze, and spent plenty of time in the arcade. The laser maze took us a minute to figure out, but once we got the hang of it, it was a lot of fun. The customer service was what truly made this visit unforgettable. We mentioned that we were celebrating our youngest daughter's birthday, and Landon went above and beyond to make her feel special. Those little moments mean so much, and it was obvious that the monsters here know exactly how to take care of their humans. If you're looking for a place that's clean, family friendly, and genuinely fun, Monster Mini Golf in Monroe, North Carolina is absolutely worth the drive. We can't say enough good things about our experience, and we'll definitely be making the trip again.
