I will also admit, it's pretty cool even for adults LOL If you are single parent like me, you may even find another beautiful single parent or really charming guy like myself :D If you have more kids or if you want to go there often, I think they have a deal where you pay for 10 rides and you get 12 ride tickets (pre-paid card). But hear me out!! It's definitely worth it. Buckle up, this might be long. We visited on a Saturday morning for the Fall Festival & Candy Dump. We arrived around opening (10am). The parking lot is very large and convenient to the entrance. The check-in staff members were so welcoming and friendly. Check-in was quick and easy. The pumpkins were set up at the entrance. There are also a few cute places to take pictures near the entrance. From there, the sky is the limit. We started at the tricycle racetrack then moved to the playground, which has plenty of benches for adults to watch their little ones. Then we moved to the Sand Hill. My kiddos loved all the dump trucks and the sit-on diggers. My husband and I had a quick game of basketball before moving to one of the blow-up slides. While waiting for the wagon ride , we visited the animal pens. My boys loved petting the cow, horse and sheep and seeing the turkey and chickens. For a small cost, you can purchase feed for the animals. Thankfully, they have a hand washing station onsite. The wagon ride is included in the ticket price and was a nice length; not too long & not too short. We had just enough time to visit the corn barn and grab a snack from their concession house. In my opinion, everything was decently priced. Service was quick and the food/drinks were hot. The candy dump was better than we could have imagined. They were kind enough to provide bags for the kiddos. The farm's owner offered a few warm words of appreciation then they loaded up the diggers. Although there were a lot of kids there, they spread the candy out so it didn't feel overwhelming. My toddlers had a blast and the older kids were so kind and patient with them. We left after the candy dump (my kids were exhausted ). There was so much we still didn't get to. They have a corn maze, an excavator slide, more bounce houses, a train and more. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. And did I mention, my kids were TIRED!! We'll definitely be back.

We arrived around 5:30 PM to claim our seats on the lawn, and thankfully we were able to find a parking spot right near the pedestrian bridge across the street. The city posted a very detailed map of parking options on their Instagram page ... and the amazing thing is, not only is all of that parking free, but there is a free shuttle that will take folks back and forth to their spots if they are unable to walk that far (or even if they just don't want to!) The openers started at 7 PM, and then the main act started around 8:15 PM. This gave the crowd plenty of time to get situated in their spots, grab some snacks, hit the restrooms, or even ride the carousel! This was a family-friendly outdoor concert, and they did a great job of having food/drink/activities for both kids and adults to enjoy. A glass of wine or a can of beer was just $5 each ... which felt like a steal since I'm used to spending more than double that for the same pour at other concert venues. The show itself was awesome ... we saw The Fray and they were everything we wanted them to be and more. The sound and lighting were both great. The layout of the park allowed many folks to stay in their folding chairs for the majority of the show, and still be able to see what was going on on-stage. Five stars all around for Village Park and the city of Kannapolis ... more cities should take note of what a great job they are doing here to engage their community!

While I was not in the room the whole time, I saw and/or heard about the whale, plank, roller coasters, some other thing where you had to eliminate other figures, bow and arrow, double lasers and space shooting. Some of it was for solo and others were for two at a time. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience (by the way it was tiring for the kids!) and would want to do it again. We pulled up at 11:30am on a Saturday morning, and only a few cars were in the parking lot. We were greeted quickly, and they explained what your ticket gets you into (there are also activities for young kids to do as well). We took a quick look at the map, and then we set off! We quickly learned that the right path is most likely a dead end! Their corn was able to grow high this year, and it was a very well designed maze. There were loops that only seemed like loops and hidden paths at the end of what we thought were dead ends. There were also some questions along the way that you could use paper/pencil or scan a QR code, which gave you some help. At the half way point, they had a cooler with bottles of water, which was very nice. We truly had an amazing time. It took us a little longer than we wanted to, but we made sure to take every wrong turn there was! At the end, we talked to the owner for a bit about how the corn maze is designed, and we even played a few rounds of cornhole. Check out this corn maze this season-you won't want to miss it!
