Optical Department and Practice Manager not good. My daughter went here to see Dr Flora- he's…read moreexcellent. well then she went to optical to order her prescription sunglasses and when she was called to say they came in and got there to pick them up she realized there wasn't any prescription in the lenses. she was told they were Plano. now she's had glasses since 7 years old so why would she do that? well she didn't. the office messed up and said there was a glitch in the system with the script. The Optical employee told her that she would call her back by the end of the day (Monday) well that never happened. then I tried calling for her Tuesday & Wednesday and no one answered the phones and no one returned the voicemails. Finally the Optical employee called me back to tell me that the Manager would call back by the end of the day, guess what that never happened either. So then I decided to call and scheduling service answered my call and send an email to the district manager about our problem and that noone was calling her back and she needed the prescription put in the sunglasses. Well SURPRISE my daughter got a phone call from the manager saying that she's refunding everything and that her and my family aren't welcomed back there anymore.My Daughter mentioned to the manager that she's been waiting for her to call her since that's what we were told from the employee and the manager told her that she had no idea that she was suppose to call her back. Now why would the employee say that? My glasses were suppose to be coming in next week and she said she cancelled those also. Then we were told that supooosedly we weren't supposed to be seen there for the past year which I think is a lie. The office probably got in trouble or maybe the district manager doesn't care either because the District manager hasn't even called us to discuss any of this because she should know how patients are being treated. people pay a lot of money for Frames etc there and orders should be treated better. Phone calls should be returned. It's very poor customer service. My daughter took her prescription to our previous eye Dr optical office and they filled it immediately and said they don't even know how it was put through without a prescription. This Optical office has gone down hill since Dr Forzley retired and the office is still the same behind the desk and Optical as far as customer service, it's HORRIBLE. See the eye Dr's for your exam but take the business elsewhere for prescription. I'm shocked people still continue to go back after all the bad reviews I see about the optical and customer service part. It also says alot that the District manager doesn't care enough to even call to discuss what has happened instead of just hearing what the office is saying because they want to cover themselves so they don't get into trouble. I am happy that we will be back at our previous Office for Optical needs since there is no issues there with orders but fortunately we can't see our eye dr here anymore.

Apparently the "office visits" are in Lemont and the "testing equipment" is in Downers Grove. This past week I drove out to Lemont for my annual appointment, that I made 6 months ago, while standing in the Lemont location, complete with a reminder card since they do not perform reminder calls, text or emails. When I arrived the office was dark so I called the main number. The receptionist who answered told me. "Lemont is not open on Mondays. Your appointment is in Downers Grove." Mind you, I live in DG so would have been more than happy to not have driven to Lemont, IF someone would have told me the appointment was for testing not an office visit. Even my appointment card says nothing about "testing in DG". I asked, "So I suppose I need to reschedule?" To ad insult to injury, the receptionist says, "Yes. The soonest I can get you in is the end of April." That is 8 weeks out from the missed appointment, that I do not feel was entirely my fault. My time is valuable, too. I'll be finding a new ophthalmologist.

I wanted contacts for use with my virtual reality headset and hadn't used contacts for over 20 years. After a brief wait, I received an efficient expert-level exam and smart conversation with Dr. Brandys. Nice dealing with someone who has personality. The optician's were all great afterwards too. I have 3 sample packs of contacts to try so we get the best match for my VR unit. He gave me near, far and mono lenses and I didn't need to buy any until we figure out which are best.
