Being able to see is always nice and is I get older my sight is definitely trying to play games with me. Recently visited Dr. Robb's from a family member referral and now my entire family has visited as well! We are so smitten with the ease of making appointments, technology is on point (I'm always down for NOT having my eyes dilated), all staff interactions have been tolerable...so these are all wins in my book! Dr. Robbs is very personable and breaks down information in a very accessible way for all ages. I can tell he's very passionate about eyes and it might make me excited enough to wear my glasses more often than not. Overall process from start to finish was very easy and streamlined to have eyes examined, glasses/contacts fitted. The practice has a nice selection of eyewear and contacts. Parking is pretty easy! We'll definitely be back and recommend to folks in the area. read more

I am so happy I found this place! I am very nearsighted and have been struggling to find the right prescription over the years. Dr. Nikolova at NaperGrove was recommended to me and she went above and beyond to help me get the right prescription and contact brand. Came here for my end of the year appointment. Front staff was very friendly and approachable! Dr. Nikolova assessed my eyes and was accommodating with lenses, solution, etc. She also spent time answering questions and was really great!!! Haven't been here for a couple of years because I thought their frame prices were a little out of line. Since then, we have gone to their competitor, only to find out their lenses were sub-par for the price we were paying. Went back this year (back in December) to give them another chance. Dr Robbs was great and Zero'd right in on my astigmatism needs. This time the frame prices were more in line to my price range. The reason I delayed in my review is I wanted to see how the glasses performed. Right out of the box these were one of the best lenses I've seen (no Pun) in a while. With my nasty Astigmatism I've always had to deal with the typical, "you'll get used to them" cliché. Not this time, these were great. Special care was taken at the time of measuring and alignment, and it paid off. Now as far as the longevity of the mar-resistance lenses, I let you know in 10 months! I Like, Will be back read more

My family has been going to Naper Grove Vision for years. Been to other doctors and never had the same level of care, or service. Dr Brad Kampschroeder diagnosed my eyes had cataracts when another dr had missed them. The wheaton eye clinic handled the surgery perfectly. Since then I have been back to see both Dr Kampschroeder and Dr Rina Sheth for regular visits and they are just outstanding. The front desk staff is so friendly and helpful, always. Just moved to 63rd and main, so location not as easy to access as previous, but soooo much nicer! Hope they will offer laser surgery soon. Staff is always helpful when needed. Prices could be more reasonable, but they mostly carry higher end. I go here since insurance offers limited options. read more

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Dr Halkius. He take a the time with you and is very patient. I started going to him two years ago after leaving my previous eye care company due to the new owner. Naper Grove is light years ahead in their technology and most importantly, their staff cares. Dr. Halkius noticed that when I first went to him the prescription in my contacts were too high and he made adjustments and y vision is great! There's no strain or anything. I was recommended to Dr. Halkius by a friend and now I feel like I found the my eye doctor I lost again! There are many doctors working in the practice. I can't say how the others. I have been going here for years but lately I think they are more interested in paying for their real estate upgrades. I ordered contacts and glasses, they were a disaster! After numerous tImes coming back and forth I'm still not sure! Today I went in for a eye glass tightening and there were 2 people who were able to do it but were too busy to tighten my glasses. I think it would have taken a whole 2 mInutes. I'm done with their customer service. I'd rather go to a small eye dr and get the service I deserve. You lost a customer today! read more

I was referred to Dr. Sims, after having increasing problems with my eyes. I had been fitted incorrectly for contacts/glasses resulting in "ulcers of the eye." An active person and graphic artist, I had much to lose if I lost any more of my vision. Dr. Sims' solid and conservative approach has helped me improve and better my vision. He healed my eyes. By following his sound advice, I am now back in contacts. And doing the things I love to do -- like desktop publishing, swimming and racquetball! I came in today because my eye was really irritated and I spent an hour trying to get it and then they told me to sit down and that I was next and it would be a few minutes.
