We spent the past weekend in Paso Robles to attend a pick up party but also wanted to try out some new spots in the area. Our second stop on Saturday was Union Sacré and it was such a cute lil spot pouring delicious, light and refreshing white wines. We had a party of 5 total and was able to get seated right away. When we first walked in, the venue gives off sushi and sake vibes but we were seated in the side room where all the magic happens and it was nice and cozy. They had heat lamps inside to keep us warm since it was a bit chilly. Overall, the wines were really good and it was a nice way to switch up what ended up being a really red heavy day! Would love to come back here again!

Went here for a tasting with a party of 11 and they were very accommodating. Went on a Saturday early afternoon, place wasn't too busy with another party doing tasting close to us. They knew we were celebrating a birthday and had tiny birthday hats for all of us on our table (adorable!) Xavier, the wine maker was amazing at explaining the wines and talking to us about the process and answering questions. Super funny guy and even gave us samples of the wine in the metal vats! Overall the wine were all delicious, staff was super friendly and accommodating and the place was clean. We grabbed a couple bottles and got some of our tastings waived. Till next time!

I found this tasting room by accident while trying to find parking in Tin City because it was so busy this afternoon! Being a fairly new player in the game, Union Sacre specializes in boutique, small batch wine, and you can definitely tell because the taste of their wine is incredible! Their wine tasting is $20 per person and consists of 4 wines: 2 whites and 2 reds. The fee is waived with a 2 bottle minimum purchase per person. They said that all 4 wines on the list were considered dry, but I thought they all tasted really good! But I think that's because I like my wines extra dry. So much so that these didn't taste dry to me at all. The flavor profiles were spot on. I ended up liking every single wine on the list! I don't think that has ever happened during any other tasting I've been to! I ended up buying a bottle of each white since I'm usually a red wine drinker, and it's very difficult for me to find non-sparkling whites that I really enjoy. If you're in the Tin City or Paso Robles area, I'd highly recommend stopping by this tasting room! If you find a wine that you like, be sure to purchase it because they seem to only make 240 cases of each type, so they'll likely be onto the next one if you sleep on it!

We had an excellent walk in experience at Union Sacre. Hugo served us such delicious, unique wines. Their tasting room is beautiful. Hugo had great recommendations, answered all our questions, and we all walked away with plenty of wines in tow to take home. Thank you Hugo! We had a wonderful time. :)

Hugo was so nice and friendly! The wine tasting experience was very cool because of Hugo!! He gave us awesome recommendations for things to do around Paso. There is an outdoor sitting area that is really cute, but we opted to stay inside because it was kind of cold. But this would be such a cool place to come and hang out on a warm day considering it's at Tin City. Would definitely come back here for their wine! We all enjoyed it very much! Thank you Hugo!!

What a wonderful small place with a friendly and helpful owner on premises to answer all your winey questions. I highly recommend the 2019 dry Riesling. Honestly, it has such bright floral almost crisp summery flavors that it did not feel like a dry Riesling to me--but it would go so well with food--perfect for pork or something shrimp. I will definitely be back to this place!

Absolutely love this winery! The alsatian style wines are wonderful. My favorites are the edelzwicker, meli melo, and dry Riesling. I've been to the tasting room twice and loved it both times. All the employees are great and the owner is awesome! I recently snagged some 2022 Union Sacre wines from the Total Wine in Rancho and it left me wanting more. I'm definitely going to join the wine club to get my hands on some of the wine-club only releases.

Did the Yelp event pick up yesterday. The owner was very informative about all of their wine selections. The place looked very nice and clean. See photos. Can't wait to check this place out when things open back up

    Delicious dry riesling.

Once I heard what happened I was more sad but happy to hear the new owner wants to continue Vina Robles. I wish as a member I would have gotten notified. Went to their new location which was really convenient since we were going to other wineries near there. It's still a big location. Plenty of seating and they still offer food which we were happy about. Our server was super sweet and knowledgeable which I always appreciate when it comes to wine. We started a tasting and then just tried whatever she gave us which we weren't complaining. Haha. All the wine she was giving us was really good. I was really impressed by their food. I wanted more of everything. We got their bruschetta al Fresco, hummus, monte Bianca pizza, and one other pizza. I fell in love with their bruschetta. We got there right as there kitchen closed which was a bummer because I wanted more. Overall, I still enjoy their wine. Their location is really nice. Food is delicious. I will conintue being a member and will stop by anytime I am in the area.

I booked it online and then reserved online in their website. No phone call was needed. We reserved noon on Saturday and after all of our party arrived we went upstairs to our lovely comfy leather sofas to settle in for the duration. We were given 4 pizzas of our choice and 4 salads and served buffet style so everyone could load their plate. We also added 3 orders of yummy meatballs. I cut them in half for serving. Artichoke hearts appetizer, charcuterie board and more. They provided juice boxes for the little boys in our party. The food was more than enough for Lunch. We could have fed more people and we took home a lot of pizza. The Italian sausage pizza was very good but we had the hot honey on the side as none of the group was interested in it. The wine was good, as usual. I had only whites. The rest of the group had the standard white then red tasting. The sparkling rose is also very good and upstairs you have dedicated bottle server. Service was excellent. They had live music downstairs and a market event going with vendors selling goods for the holiday season. I love this venue and will return soon. Improvement needed. Buy some large paper plates for the buffet lunch. It's a shared food event. All we had was tiny appetizer plates. We asked for larger but they had none. ** edit. Update. The manager replied and has ordered larger plates so I'm happy to hear this. We are already talking about coming back again. Dec 18, 2025 The Cesar salad had nice shaved cheese but no salad dressing.

We are the type of members who always take great care of the staff and rarely leave without purchasing extra bottles, yet today we were treated like an inconvenience. Despite being told in the past that spontaneous visits were no problem for members, we were turned away on a gloomy Monday with plenty of open tables. The host at the entrance was incredibly dismissive and wouldn't even let us finish our sentence before cutting us off. We were told our only options were to come back in an hour, a "limited" tasting, drive all the way downtown, or just pick up our shipment and leave. We asked for the Wine Club Manager to resolve the situation, but she wasn't on-site. To be offered a "partial" tasting as a favor after nearly ten years of support was the final straw. It feels as though they now prioritize "closing" new members over honoring the people who have supported them for years. They've gone mainstream and lost the personal touch that made them special.

I believe sometimes companies have off days, and employees may have a bad day, which can affect one's experience, thus I dont let one bad experience ruin a company's review. But when it comes to my CHILD, you best believe i will never forgive and forget or let our experience be forgotten. We visited this winery expecting a relaxing, family-friendly experience and instead left with our daughter crying after being scratched in the face near her eye by the owner's off-leash dog. What makes this especially frustrating is that the winery's own rules state dogs must be leashed, yet the owners' dogs were roaming the property freely. Our daughter was calmly petting one of the dogs with me standing directly beside her when the dog suddenly growled and scratched her across the face. This was completely unprovoked and witnessed by the owner himself, who said absolutely nothing afterward. No apology, no concern, no accountability. An employee later approached us and said, "Sorry, he's old and maybe didn't like that she was the same height as him, which made him react".....which felt less like accountability and more like an absurd attempt to excuse why a reactive dog was allowed to roam off leash around guests and children. We also observed the dogs behaving territorially toward other leashed dogs on the property, making it even more inappropriate that they were allowed off leash in a public setting. My father-in-law is a VERY well known, well respected, and prominent winemaker in Virginia and across the United States, if you know anything about wine, you know him. So lets say, we understand winery culture and hospitality, fairly well. Had something like this happened on his property, it would have been handled immediately and professionally with genuine concern for the injured guest.....especially a child. Watching the owner casually continue on in his conversation with whomever, and pet the dog like nothing happened while our daughter screamed and cried was honestly unbelievable. In my opinion, not worth the visit for the subpar wine, if you want to take your children/dog somewhere. The poodles were friendly to me, and other adults, until we saw their behavior to other dogs & then my child....The complete lack of concern from ownership after a child was injured was shocking. Frankly, they are fortunate we chose not to escalate the situation further. Parents should absolutely be cautious visiting here with children or pets. An off-leash dog with territorial behavior has no place interacting freely with guests. Absolutely shocked and the owner should be ashamed of his actions & response (or lack there of) to the situation.
