What an amazing evening we had here. It was so welcoming. Our hostess was amazing. The place is really nice. Our reservation included an assortment of chocolates and also a charcuterie board that was just on point. You can pair the chocolates with each wine that is served.

This winery is the perfect spot for a late night wine tasting in downtown Paso! Open til around midnight which is awesome. My husband and my friend planned this one for part of our celebration. Loved the art decor, so fascinating and interesting. They took very good care of us from top to bottom. My friend arranged to have our wine tasting taken care of and even added a surprise charcuterie board for us to enjoy. Very personal and lovely!

Perfect wine tasting spot for a late night hangout! The aesthetics and vibes were spectacular. Our host, Anthony was so friendly and welcoming and let us taste a few wines before we committed to the glass we wanted. We couldn't do a wine tasting since we were drinking all day already so it was nice to end the night here. They had a huge selection and it was a fun time! Will definitely come again to try their wine tasting menu.

We found Serial Wines while walking around downtown Paso Robles after dinner. We've been to many wine country towns but there haven't been many that have a tasting room open in the evening so it felt like a special treat for us! We were warmly welcomed in and told we could grab a seat anywhere we wanted to do a tasting or to have some wine. We found a nice relaxing area and settled in to our comfy seats. We ordered a tasty cab and Syrah and were even given a taste of them before they poured an entire glasss which was very nice of them! They wanted us to be sure we liked what we ordered before they poured an entire glass. We really appreciated that and were very happy with our selections. They invited us to come back the next night for a special event if we didn't already have any plans. We made mental notes of that for future reference. We observed several groups of friends come in to enjoy a tasting with some of them ordering a bottle to enjoy amongst them. Their tasting room is very nicely decorated and conveniently located near the downtown square area. Parking is within convenient walking distance for all of the businesses in the downtown area with some street parking available too. With so many choices of places to stop in to, we didn't make it back for their special event. We will be returning once again when we are back in the area and hope you also stop in for a visit too!

Date night culminated at Serial Wines. Side-by-side of the 2020 and the 2021 Halter Ranch Syrah. It's like going out with twin sisters. Except for one of the sisters is a goth girl and the other is a runway model. You've got the 2020 which is like blackberry cobbler and the 2021 is a blueberry cheesecake with a side of Chardonnay. You love them both for different reasons. One is a borderline personality disorder, saying I hate you please don't leave me, and the other is a physicist saying I don't need you which makes you want me more. So which one do you take home? I submit both.

Wonderful wonderful experience... and made even more so by Jennie our wine guide...lovely warm inviting location right in the heart of Paso Robles... easy access and comfy seating...wines were delicious and varied. Never rushed and felt very relaxed... Highly recommend trying this high-end tasting room.

So comfortable and beautiful, the tables are made from burned wood from a California fires and it gorgious even in the restroom!

We have been to so many wineries and tasting rooms but few have come close to Serial! Mike or BiG Mike as we call him, had a great presentation, the wines were amazing, the ambiance is sooo sexy! You can go as group or couple, but please check this place out downtown Paso Robles!

This place is awesome! Thank you Jennie for the great hospitality!! Check out if you ever in Paso Robles. The wine is also yummy!

I liked all five wines on the tasting menu, including the rosé, which is new for me because I don't usually love rosés. I ended up getting another glass of the Barbera after we finished the tasting. I believe sometimes companies have off days, and employees may have a bad day, which can affect one's experience, thus I dont let one bad experience ruin a company's review. But when it comes to my CHILD, you best believe i will never forgive and forget or let our experience be forgotten. We visited this winery expecting a relaxing, family-friendly experience and instead left with our daughter crying after being scratched in the face near her eye by the owner's off-leash dog. What makes this especially frustrating is that the winery's own rules state dogs must be leashed, yet the owners' dogs were roaming the property freely. Our daughter was calmly petting one of the dogs with me standing directly beside her when the dog suddenly growled and scratched her across the face. This was completely unprovoked and witnessed by the owner himself, who said absolutely nothing afterward. No apology, no concern, no accountability. An employee later approached us and said, "Sorry, he's old and maybe didn't like that she was the same height as him, which made him react".....which felt less like accountability and more like an absurd attempt to excuse why a reactive dog was allowed to roam off leash around guests and children. We also observed the dogs behaving territorially toward other leashed dogs on the property, making it even more inappropriate that they were allowed off leash in a public setting. My father-in-law is a VERY well known, well respected, and prominent winemaker in Virginia and across the United States, if you know anything about wine, you know him. So lets say, we understand winery culture and hospitality, fairly well. Had something like this happened on his property, it would have been handled immediately and professionally with genuine concern for the injured guest.....especially a child. Watching the owner casually continue on in his conversation with whomever, and pet the dog like nothing happened while our daughter screamed and cried was honestly unbelievable. In my opinion, not worth the visit for the subpar wine, if you want to take your children/dog somewhere. The poodles were friendly to me, and other adults, until we saw their behavior to other dogs & then my child....The complete lack of concern from ownership after a child was injured was shocking. Frankly, they are fortunate we chose not to escalate the situation further. Parents should absolutely be cautious visiting here with children or pets. An off-leash dog with territorial behavior has no place interacting freely with guests. Absolutely shocked and the owner should be ashamed of his actions & response (or lack there of) to the situation.

Our first stop when we arrived in Paso. We've been to so many wineries, this would be one of our top 10. The spice pairing is unique but pairs so well with the wine. Buy 3 bottles to waive the fee. Since it's more of boutique, the bottles are quite pricey, mostly ranging near the 100s. But it was our favorite the whole weekend we went there. And we bought 6 bottles. We loved the spell and got 3 bottles of that! It's a Syrah cab blend. Has the Paso flavor that we love. It's not a vineyard, just a tasting room but worth a visit. We met the wine maker too. Yeah, I didn't believe it either, but then I saw a sign in their vineyard that proved me wrong. It read: "Water into Wine" And now, I'm a believer! So what brought us to this magical place you ask?? Well, besides the obvious (the wine).... It was the.... ok you caught me!! We came for the wine! Yeah, we were staying at the Ava Hotel in Paso for my wife's birthday weekend (definitely check this place out if you are looking for a beautiful spot to call home away from home) And being that we were in wine country.... We wanted a nice outdoor vineyard where our kids could be outside, run around, and get all of their energy out all while Mommy & Daddy had our own little R&R time sippin' on the good stuff. And let me tell you, it was Good Stuff! When we first arrived at Sculpterra, we already knew the place was going to be a hit as the parking lot was hoppin. And apparently we weren't the only ones that got the memo that this place was THE PLACE to be as it was just a little bit off the beaten trail from where we started out... Approximately 6 miles from "Downtown Paso" (through the city limits, down the 'ol country back roads and suddenly we were in wine country!) Prior to heading to the vineyard, we did a quick pit stop at McDonalds for the kids so they had something they liked. As for me and my wife, we opted to get some of the local fare items offered on site, cause what goes better with wine than a yummy charcuterie board? I'll answer that momentarily! But wait, theres more!!!! Upon finding a nice little table outdoors to sit and relax with our wine chilled in a bucket of ice, there was suddenly music to our ears and Love to my eyes! Yes, there was lovely Live Music being played by a band and out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a food truck serving Mexican Food from a local Mexican restaurant. Remember earlier when I said what goes better with wine than a charcuterie board? Well, if you guessed a little Mexican Food, then you are oh so right, but only in moderation! So in order not to ruin the good vibes of the beautiful vino from Sculpterra, I opted for just one taco and a cup of their poblano soup and man was it fire. The soup was piping hot and it had a kick of spice that made me spice from ear to ear. As far as the wine, the vineyards vibe and the entire aesthetic of the grounds, Sculpterra Winery & Sculpture Gardens (the vineyard was adorned with many abstract and contemporary pieces that are all photo worthy), this place checks all the boxes. The place is kid friendly as there is plenty of space, both indoors and out, with areas for the kids to throw a ball, run around, or even learn to play a g as a game of chess. A decent variety of Reds, Whites, & Blends are all up for grabs, so if you find yourself in Paso Robles with the fam or its just you and your hunny, definitely come check this place out and watch the miracle of them turning water into wine!

Having a location right in the downtown Paso Robles square is so convenient, especially being surrounded by shops and restaurants. I also really loved the setup with tables to sit at versus standing at a bar. They offer wine by the glass as well as different tasting flight options, and they also serve small bites. We heard there are different menus depending on the day, which is a nice touch. Our server greeted us quickly, brought water right away, and got our first tasting to us fast.
