It was my birthday and wanted to try somewhere new with my husband. I always love Korean BBQ and have been to a few, but this topped the cake. Best Korean BBQ I have ever been to and I will definitely be visiting again!! For the price it's definitely worth the HUGE variety you get to choose from of meats a lot with delicious appetizers and sauces and even better, Ice cream at the end! My server Nia was amazing along with the rest of the staff!! Such an amazing date night spot or even just trying to try something new. BEST BIRTHDAY DINNER EVER !!

I recently read a couple of reviews for Uniq online and, despite my fiancé loving Dae Gee restaurant, we wanted to try another Korean BBQ place. This restaurant promised to be more affordable and it's closer to our home, so we set off to test it out. The entrance is interesting with thematic anime characters. The waitstaff was very attentive and seated us right away. I ordered a Shirley Temple, which I haven't had since I was a child! It brought back happy memories. We ordered spring rolls and miso soup to begin. The spring rolls were crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. The flavors were very good. We ordered several meats including teriyaki chicken, beef bulgogi, and spicy shrimp. I loved all of the shrimp I had! The beef was really nice, too. I wasn't crazy about the teriyaki chicken, but my fiancé gobbled his up. The banchan is smaller than at Dae Gee, with less variety. The fish cakes at Dae Gee are far superior to Uniq's two fish cake options (regular & spicy), but the pickled radishes are just as good. You get smaller portions at Uniq, but they're unlimited, so just ask for more. At the end of my meal, we ordered the strawberry ice cream. It's a small scoop, but I was pretty full, so it was all I needed. The price was probably $20 less for the same amount of food, but you're getting a more casual atmosphere with Uniq. We really enjoyed our experience and will probably become regular customers!

We had a great time choosing appetizers, sides, sauces and BBQ items. There are plenty to choose from. 42 BBQ items. We had plenty. We ate shrimp, spicy chicken, brisket, bulgogi, pork belly, spring rolls, gyoza and shrimp tempura. We cooked the BBQ items at our table easily. It was fun and we really enjoyed the process. The menu has Shabu too which is hot pot. Next time we try that. There are 49 items to put in your soup! Yummmy!!!!

So happy there's finally a Kbbq here in FW!! Coming from California I always crave for certain foods. This place did not disappoint at all. So many great choices and they don't give you too much for each meat order so you can actually try a variety. Will definitely be back for more!!

I love Korean BBQ and I was so excited to try Uniq, but was not impressed with their Korean BBQ. Their selection meat selection was kind of small for the price. The garlic seafood was the best thing on the menu. The side dishes were also not traditional Korean banchan, except for Kimchi. The server was super nice, but the service was really slow. If you're craving Korean BBQ in Fort Wayne, it's worth a try.

I was not satisfied at all with the all you can eat hot pot here. I understand they just opened, there is no kbbq, no biggie, but I came in on a day they were not busy. They had plenty of staff, and they still waited my friend and I very slow. The food was ok, however it was not great. Glad they have an all you can eat for Korean food here in Fort Wayne now, however I'm sticking to driving an hour and a half to Indianapolis for their hot pot. At least there I can keep eating without having to be hungry at the end of my stay. I ordered a lot however the portions were small, and I don't feel good making them run around. The place was clean and nice, so I'll give them that. But food was eh, I know the Asian markets around here where I can get everything they have here. I only come to all you can eat places once in a while for company with my friends, sad to say this is one of the worst places I've been to for it. I even tried pacing myself with the waiter coming every 15-20 minutes, and by then my 2 hours was up! Altogether he came around 4-5 times and then it was time to pay. Also from my pictures there was not a lot of variety for the food. Truly disappointing.

Good food. This is my 2nd time here. Last time we had BBQ here with my husband and 2 friends. This time we had hotpot. I personally prefer hotpot than BBQ and my husband likes both. Great service, Very attentive and always smile. The restaurant is spacious and it is well organized. We felt Welcome since the beginning. Will definitely come back.

We tried Uniq for the first time tonight and it was delicious! They had a wide variety of meats and veggies for the BBQ grill. It was a blast to cook our own food and to try out each meat in a different sauce. Good selection of drinks as well. The service was great - very attentive staff, friendly, and helped us out with what to do. The restaurant esthetic was neat and laid out well. We will definitely be back!

So much fun!! Delicious food!! Great staff!! Best Korean BBQ I've been to! Alex was an awesome server! Galbi was my favorite meat

First of all, they take reservations, which is great because we had a larger group for a holiday family gathering. We came to do the KBBQ with some family members who had never gotten it before. We ordered the premium plate, and got plenty of food for the group, including the bachan dishes. We got pork belly, chicken, and the ribeye (which was our favorite!). And as others mentioned, they gave us onion and pineapple to season the grill, which was delicious! The bachan were fun--they even had a potato salad which my Midwestern family members really loved (along with the corn appetizer!). The service was great--the workers checked in on us and were always ready to bring more bachan or help changing the grill for us! They even had some tasty mocktails for my family members who don't drink. Such a great time and delicious food at Dae Gee! So glad people will get to try their hand at Korean BBQ!

But, the service was good-no complaints there. The food was okay. I ordered the mul mandu for an appetizer, and it was relatively standard dumpling fare. Nothing noteworthy, but not bad. Then I had the bibimbap with beef. It wasn't very flavorful as served, but the sauce provided in the table caddy helped add flavor. Once again, not bad, but not especially impressive. The only thing that was disappointing was that the banchan were not provided free of charge. Instead, you could purchase them individually or as an upgrade with your entree. This is unlike most Korean restaurants I've been to. Normally, I look forward to the variety of small starters before the main dish so this was a bit of a let down. Once again, not a bad experience, just not anything to rave about.

On this occasion we occupied the large group room. The room was cozy and allowed our party to have an intimate room to ourselves. The staff here was very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of help to serve our larger group. They were a bit slow...but allowed us to pace ourselves and enjoy the fellowship. I was impressed that they hustled a child's order ahead of the adults food to keep them satisfied. I didn't see the waiters come back through much after the food was served. On this trip I ordered the steak teriyaki bento box. The box is a bit expensive compared to Other places. However the sinking atmosphere, location, quality and volume...justify the price in my mind. The box came with a cup of miso soup. The soup was tasty and a lot like you would expect for a Japanese restaurant. It did not come with a salad as many other places might. The box was stuffed with food! The steak es piled high and excellent! It was very tender and moist. It had a nice teriyaki flavor marinated in the meat. There were two crab Rangoon pieces and two egg rolls. Normally you would only expect one of each. The crab Rangoon wrapper was cooked so that it was a bit oily and the wrapper was mushy. The filling was plentiful. However I felt like the filling was lacking on crab taste and overpowering on cream cheese. The egg Roll wrappers were a bit more crispy without being too crispy. The wrapper was a bit greasy to taste. I found the filling...while fresh...to be a little mushy as well. There were five pieces of a California roll included. That was a lot of sushi to eat as well. The roll was tasty. It was put together nicely and gave you a good taste of each ingredient.
