Visited here on a weekend and the store seemed pretty organized. The people in the trial room were very helpful. Their style is very minimalistic and something you could consider as basic staples. They also claim to be sustainable unlike some huge fast-fashion stores which is a positive. They also have recycling bins for old clothes. Prices are very reasonable. Only negative is the wait times are long for both trial and billing. This could be different on a weekday. read more

Uniglo is the moniker and the only place to fulfilling a brand that can go anywhere and be anything you can put together on a whimsically dapper and refined day. Uniglo'n means making it to the Bellevue location and realizing they do it just as well as the Socal locations. Re: Purchased ULD parka. The zipper failed in less than two years with very light use by a 60 yo adult. If it wasn't for the poor quality zipper I'd be saying I love this coat. Perfectly warm in mild winter weather, or works well as an undercoat when temperature drops into the 20s. I also like how compact it is while not being worn. Easy to stow in the small front pocket of my small roller-board suitcase. Great selection for basics and other wardrobe staples. I would place them higher than H&M and maybe slightly below J.Crew. Prices are VERY affordable. Cuts seem to be modern and slim on some items, others are shapeless pieces of fabric. Overall, would recommend especially if other brands like J.crew run large on you. The price to quality is great. They offer free hemming of pants with your purchase. It's been as fast as a single day turnaround (on a Saturday!, but also sometimes longer - so tough to say but a nice in-store perk nonetheless). read more

Must preface that I live in Seattle. Purchased a pair of dress pants. Came back in next day to get it hem since the service is provided for free. The girl who helped me seemed rather confused. Didn't take down my name or phone number, so I suggested it might be a good idea she does. Was told it would be ready in 1:30h. The girl took my receipt, didn't give me a service tag/pick-up receipt of any kind. I left. Someone from the store called 10 mins later and was told next day. OK... Called to check two days later and turns out they lost the original receipt. Fine. But it's ready. Drove all the way to Bellevue to grab it. Didn't have time to try on. Came home. It WASNT EVEN hemmed/worked on! Took it to my usual tailor guy. Sure enough. It was not touched. Overall, the store is new, employees are new, young. I stopped in today for my first time after hearing great things about the quality of these clothes. The store was pretty small for the amount of merchandise, and I had a hard time finding a flow to the layout. Off to the right is mens outerwear, however they also have jackets over by the t-shirts. Base layers are on the other side of the down outerwear. The t-shirts are next to the button up shirts and the sweaters. Silly colors in a lot of the things in my opinion. This store is BURSTING with bright colors. I am anxious to try some of the heat tech base layers. The long sleeve shirts look like they are in fact as warm as they claim. The whole store was full of discounted merchandise, however the sale tags looks the same as the regular, so it's tricky knowing if you are actually getting a good price. Don't go in with anything in particular. I ended up falling in love with a parka that was the opposite of what I was looking for. Can't wait to to back when I have time to try things on! read more

Uniqlo is a great place to get basics. Having been to branches in Kyoto, Tokyo and NYC, I'm a little obsessed with this chain. If you hate wearing logos on your clothes, Uniqlo with its sleek, minimal aesthetics will be perfect for you! As a PNW newb, I was looking for a water-resistant jacket that wasn't going to cost a million dollars. I had looked everywhere in Seattle for one that didn't make me look like a total lumbersexual. Here's where Uniqlo saved my life: I was able to find a cute, non-outdoorsy, water-resistant jacket for $49.90! I consider this a good deal considering how North Face jackets of similar quality are $100! Also worth a mention is their Heattech line. Items in this line absorb body moisture and the moisture helps keep you warm. They have all sorts of basic tops and leggings of all colors to keep you occupied. Overall, this one-story Uniqlo is much smaller than the multi-storied ones I've experienced in Japan, but it's still great for those in need of minimal, classic clothing! read more

Being from NYC, I've shopped at their flagship 5th avenue store, k-town 34th street store, flushing skyview mall store, original SoHo location, and their atlantic terminal mall. Being a frequent traveler, I've also been to Uniqlo locations in SF and Beijing as well. This section of the review is going to be dedicated to the hardgoing Uniqlo customers, so sit tight with me for a bit. (The positives will come in the end.) So, Uniqlo has these general sections-- Jackets according to season (M/W), Sweaters/T-shirts (M/W) aka seasonal appropriate stuff, Shirts (long sleeved usually) Pants (jeans, leggings, cargo etc M/W), Heattech wear (M/W, tops/bottoms), Dresses, and Lounge stuff. The general gist. BUT, that's just Uniqlo stuff. Any special collection is its own section, which they generally have two of-- a celeb/designer collaborated collection and its graphic design limited edition section (aka the cool graphic UT tshirts that are only in guy sizes). Why am I listing this-- basically the things this store has are its Uniqlo items and a very limited amount of its special graphic design sections (like for this fashion year, the Star Wars UT tshirts, Disney UT tshirts, or the SPRZ sweatpants and sweaters). And if they DO have some of the things (like the Star Wars UT graphic tshirts), sizes and colours are limited. So don't get your hopes up on those. In addition, missing on a sizable clearance section of those limited edition things. (Uniqlo changes its collections pretty much annually, so there would be sales of older collections naturally). But it's Uniqlo, it's in your backyard. Their sales are always decent at large holidays, and they are durable as hell. It's cold, you want something warm. You want that Heattech. You want that lamb wool sweater. You want that cashmere. Well here it finally is. 3 stars for its location as a shopper, but quality is always 5 stars. Also there is just one fitting room area of stalls (already good enough reason to dock one star), so you better know your size or how you wear those clothing already. Women never just take 1 or 2 things to try on, like c'mon girls, you know that as well as I do. Will come here to shop again, guaranteed. Bought pants one weeks ago, duo to Covid-19 they don't allow trying in store before purchase. it is smaller to me so need to return it for a larger one, but they don't accept return since I don't have receipt. I explain that I can have store credit or just exchange for a larger size they just denied it. It's clearly their product since there is brand tag on it, and they can check the transaction which they can see the purchase was just one week ago, I don't understand why they just gave customer a hard time to return! I've been shopping at UNIQLO for years and I've been to the NYC stores many times as well as the millions of stores in the Philippines and this is my take on this location. Compared to every store I've been too this one is definitely the smallest. I thought it was going to be two floors for some reason. The selection and stock here is very limited to what they actually carry online/other stores. The staff is new here also and they need some more training. I don't get the same shopping experience at this location for some reason. They staff always look really confused onto what they are doing which looks kind of funny to me. I got two pairs of pants that were to be hemmed by the end of the day and then I got a call saying I have to wait until 2pm the next day. I come in around 5pm the next day asking for my pants and the lady disappears for 40 mins then returns. I asked her if they started hemming them right when I got there and she gave me a BS excuse. I asked her the same question again then she admitted they weren't done yet, wow. Lastly, the promotions as of recent haven't been as great as I have seen before and that is kind of disappointing since this is the first store in this state. Hopefully it shapes soon. read more

Uniqlo is my go-to store for clothing basics. Everything they sell is excellent value for money--buying something of similar (or sometimes even worse) quality from other brands is usually a much more expensive proposition. Furthermore, they frequently have sales that slash the already reasonable prices by 25-50%. Count me in, every single time! I buy Heattech tops every time I'm here--the long-sleeved tops are perfect for those crisp fall days when you debate whether or not you need a light jacket. On my last visit, all the women's joggers were half off, so I stocked up on those as well--I love wearing them to work, because they're extremely comfortable yet also look smart. Everything Uniqlo sells has a very simple, clean-cut style, which is exactly what I like to go for in my wardrobe. My biggest complaint about this store is that there's always a long line for the fitting rooms. Also, there are never any associates on the floor. This is both a good and a bad thing. I hate it when sales associates needlessly pester me when I'm just browsing, but I do like the ability to ask someone which section of the store I can find an item in. If you've been to Uniqlo in New York or Japan, you'll probably be a bit disappointed by Bellevue's store. (I'm sorry, I don't mean to sound conceited.) Every other Uniqlo I've been to has been huge and had a lot of different styles of clothes that you can choose from. I bought a pair of pants here, and wondered why I set off the security alarm when I left the store, only to get home and realize the cashier had forgotten to remove the anti-theft tag. A Google search revealed those tags can be removed at home, but there's always the risk the ink cartridge might crack and ruin the clothes. So I called Uniqlo and explained that I live in Seattle and do not have a car and managed to get a ride all the way out to Bellevue to find a pair of pants for my friend's birthday the following day, only to come home with a gift that, due to the cashiers negligence, looks like I shoplifted it. The customer service reps only suggestion was that I either come back to the store, or ship the pants in and have them shipped back to me. Since there was no time to do either of those things, I asked, if I attempt to remove the tag myself and end up spilling ink on the clothes, will they be able to refund me, and the answer was flatly no. I decided to just risk it and try to remove it myself...FYI the rubber band trick on Wikihow works great on Uniqlo tags. I give them two stars instead of one only because they at least offered a prepaid shipping label. read more

Really decent prices! I've been going to this place in China for years and it's nice that they've opened a shop at Bel Sq. It's very clean, bright, and filled with extremely helpful employees. A lot of the clothes are fairly basic and plain, and you won't find a lot of designs or super high fashion pieces here. What they have though, are comfortable hoodies, sweats, and coats for very good prices and are definitely winning in the comfort department. One tip though, being that they are the first Uniqlo store in this entire area, AND it's Christmas...if you're not a fan of crowds or long lines then definitely avoid this place until after the Holidays. read more

- The Parking Guy - Bell Square parking can be madness (of course during the busy times of the year), but luckily, if you're trying to go to Uniqlo, you can park in the small garage next to the new grocery store with likely few problems. After you park, you walk into the mall and the escalators to get up to Uniqlo are right there. Minimal walking, maximum shopping. I do 90% of my shopping here. Business casual, nicer casual, v-necks, sweats and fleeces, it's all here. Think H&M, but their clothes can actually fit a normal human. My one minor gripe is that I have to get my pants hemmed (their shortest length is a 32 and I'm a 30) so I have to come in a second time when the pants are ready. Inconvenient, but clever. read more

The store is well organized and sort of reminds me of GAP in terms of pricing and quality. Granted they have a bit better variety and some better deals here or there. It's good for getting basics, but not much outside of that. I primarily go for button ups or T-Shirts. The pant hemming for me is not ideal especially since I can find other brands in the right waist/length anyways. I don't really want to wait for them to hem my pants or pay extra for a nicer type of hem. The only thing I particularly dislike is the store lighting. It's overly bright. They use outdoor halogen light bulbs inside to make everything brighter, which is unnatural and makes it super warm. It's like going to one of those overtly staged houses for sale. read more

Love this brand for a mix of basics, whimsical, dressy and trendy... The reasonable price allows you to take a risk on some pieces you might not normally go for. However, beware the long line up for the dress room AND then again for cashier on a busy weekend. If you have to, here's my tip: wear a tank top so you can pull something over your head, and skip the dressing room. read more

She was keep saying that I need to come back to store within 14 days and don't waste time to call when I called first time to request whether they can do the price adjustment on the phone. It was very bad tone to response the customer's request. Who would go back to store to adjust $10-15 if you live far from the store location? I went in to exchange a gift - it was the wrong size. I found the exact same item in the correct size and took it to the check-out to be told that because my gift had been purchased at a Uniqlo store in Canada I could not exchange it! We are talking about a purchase from the same company being exchanged for an exact replica - except the size! The excuse being they cannot resell Canadian items! If they cared, they would have offered to do the exchange and send the item to their Canadian division- but NO - I have to ship the gift back, which not only inconveniences me but seriously inconveniences the person who made the nice gesture to buy me a gift! Great In store customer service, great fit for clothing for Asian and athletic build men, reasonable prices and all the essentials that other stores don't have that are both functional and stylish. The employees there have always really gone the extra mile for me, sometimes having three people look for something for me, grabbing the manager, etc... Their return policy has been very good to me as well. I've order 7 items online at times and realized they aren't 95% what I wanted and ended up returning everything no questions asked, no issues at all. When I'm not at REI grabbing my favorite Arcteryx jackets or when I don't need bespoke tailoring or Brioni/Kiton quality suits for specific occassions this is the store I shop at. Ok, there clothes won't last me my entire lifetime like a lot of my clothes will but for the price, fit, quality of material, comfort level, dependability, etc... it far, far exceeds stores spanning from Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Macy's to Marshalls and Goodwill. Their clothes simply work and work well and if they don't they refund your money with no issues. Don't waste your time and money elsewhere if you just need some very good clothes and don't need to totally wow someone. Great company, great people. read more

I visited Uniqlo store around 6:30pm on the opening day. There were huge lines for cashiers and fitting rooms, but the line for cashiers was about 8 mins wait. Not too bad. The store sale good varieties of heattech tees, undies, ultralight down jackets, and other basics, but no collaboration items like Ines De La Fressange, or Carine Roitfeld, etc. I was a bit disappointed, but could expect this store being the first introduction in PNW. Well I used to love this store until I recently experienced so many problems with their policies and broken on-line systems. Buyer beware that they have absolutely no flexibility on their return policy. The clerks and the store manager could only point to the fine print on the receipt. When I tried to contact their corporate customer service about my experience I only got a bunch of unwanted things downloaded to my computer. I'll be cleaning up that mess for hours. Poor experience with sweaters I bought here for $20. They shrunk by several sizes and became totally unwearable in a single wash. Uniqlo Manager refused to refund or exchange even after talking for 15 minutes. He said I can donate it and buy another one! The price of the sweaters had dropped to $5.90 in just 8 days. The best store ever. The associates here work very hard to provide high-quality customer service experience. Please note, if you are complaining about the differences between online and in-store promotions, they run independent of each other. Also, read the return policy on the receipt before you make any complaints because it explicitly explains that inner wear cannot be returned, unless if it is in good condition. Uniqlo needs to train their staff better (or maybe fire them) and hire ones that don't lie to customers. They will (at least ones in Bellevue store) happily tell you that merchandise credit they give you while returning an online order is usable on the website while the reality is they can't be. On top of that Uniqlo itself won't provide you with any solution other then repeating you have to use it in store, we are sorry you were lied to. read more
