I came back to shop for my younger son who needed some dress shirts for upcoming concerts and music competitions. We first looked up the websites of various stores, but we were not sure about his actual size. Then I bought one dress shirt from an outlet store, but it turned out that it didn't fit him well despite the size wise was correct. We decided to come to this store to get the right measurements and get the fitted shirts for him. After browsing for a while, we kept seeing big dress shirts but rarely saw any size S shirts. We walked up to an Asian staff (We don't know his name.) who was just helping other customers to see if he could help. After he took care of other customers, he measured my son's neck and arm and let us know the size my son should be wearing. My son was looking for a black dress shirt as now most of his concerts required black shirts and pants. It turned out that those shirts were all sold out, so he brought a different color to let my son try to see if that fit well. The sleeves were a bit long, but only like half inch difference, so we decided to leave them as is and would do alteration if that really bothers my son. He placed an order for a black shirt to ship directly to our house for free. We also got a white tux shirt to go with his tux. The staff explained to us that the studs must be removed before the putting into the washing machine and that at one point those would need to be replaced. I asked to see some studs in case we would need to replace. He helped me find some good deals with those studs. At the end, I asked him to validate the parking ticket. I thought I would get only 2 hours since it says two hour parking at the parking lot. He gave us 4 hours! We were able to swing by some other places without worrying about the parking time limit. My second trip to this store is still pleasant as my last trip for my older son. When we need men's formal wears, this store is definitely my first go-to place. read more

On two separate occasions I needed tux rentals for myself and my son. It happened to be on back to back weekends. I was expecting to have to hurry up and return the items, so they could be cleaned and given back. I was shocked when I was told that new tuxedos were going to be ordered based on previous sizes. They offered to take measurements if necessary again. Awesome service, excellent communication and when one of the events was canceled, the manager was responsive in reducing any charges. read more

First of all, the hvac was failing. So loud I couldn't hear the musak they were playing. Second, scan a QR code to get in line for help. Two guys came in after me and got service ahead because I was not fast enough. Third, next to nothing in my size. By next to nothing I mean two pairs of pants in the whole store. Finally, I found a pair and they had to press them because obviously someone wore them and returned them and the store didn't press them before putting them back on the rack. My partner and I both needed a new suit for a wedding that is coming up in November of 2024 (this year). With only a few weeks to spare, we booked an appointment ahead of time on-line. We arrived on time and were greeted by James (don't know his last name). James was EXCEPTIONAL. He had a great eye and he really had a level of competence that immediately put us both at ease. From the moment I stepped into the Bellevue Men's Wearhouse shop, I was impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and the evident pride James displayed in his work. His attention to detail during the initial consultation was remarkable. Even though the store got busy after we arrived, he steadfastly took the time to understand not just my measurements, but also my personal style preferences and the occasions for which I would be wearing the suit. I am a tall guy with a slimmer build with very long arms. This makes it particularly challenging to get a good fitting suit. Shirts are also a challenge for me since I need a slim cut shirt with broad shoulders and very long sleeves. The fitting process was a revelation. His expertise in making subtle adjustments to ensure a perfect fit was truly impressive. I particularly appreciated his patience in explaining the reasoning behind each alteration, which gave me a newfound appreciation for the art of tailoring. Hopefully, the final product will exceed all my expectations. The Tailor was also exceptional. I didn't get her name but she skillfully assisted James with the alterations and provided great feedback. The two of them were a great team. What truly sets his service apart, however, is their genuine passion for helping clients look and feel their best (both James and the Tailor). He was careful to make sure I sat down with the suit on, bent over with the suit on, moved my arms and elbows around to make sure it was a good fit. I take great pleasure in recommending this store, and James in particular, along with their services, to friends and colleagues. Had the absolute best experience at Men's Wearhouse with my boyfriend about a week ago, will never go to any other place to shop for a suit. My mother recently passed, and my boyfriend told me " honey more funerals are coming and I need to get a suit". We went to Macys and immediately were disgusted by the selection... Jackets alone started at $500. My boyfriend said "please can we go to the Men's Wearhouse and just look and see what they have". We were immediately greeted by Bryantwho is the store manager who then measured my boyfriend and found the most beautiful black suit. He also got a few ties, couple pairs of shoes, and other accessories. The suit looks absolutely gorgeous! Bryant also knowing that because that's where Funeral gave us some coupons which brought the bill down a couple hundred dollars... I get we did try in the pants when we picked them up but to be several inches off is crazy, but don't blame me for your poor work. I had ordered a tuxedo to be sent to this location because I was a groomsman in my good friend's wedding. Upon arriving to the store directly after my flight from CA, they informed me that one of the employees had mistakenly given my suit to another customer with the same last name. I had to return back the next morning the DAY OF the wedding to pick up the replacement. They were annoyingly vague with the time of pick-up which caused a lot of stress for the groom and the bridal party. On top of this, when I put the suit on at the wedding, they had forgotten to include the pocket square. What upsets me is that this situation could have been avoided by simply confirming the first name of the customer. My last name is Lee, which is the MOST common last name in the world. The employees at this store have an extreme lack of awareness and attention to simple details. I am planning on getting married next year and will most definitely NOT choose Men's Wearhouse to provide the suits for my groomsmen. Although I looked great on my wedding day. I have multiple complaints regarding customer service. First off, the process of getting measured took way too long. The employee refused to take measurements directly onto the ipad and insisted on writing everything on paper then transferring it to the ipad. There was an employee offering to help as it was taking so long and the guy were were working with refused the help. Secondly, I order a black tux and that is not what I received. I asked to see the notes and realized that the originally guy helping us did not write any notes. I had to stress out days before my wedding not knowing if I would receive the tux I wanted. Lastly, four out of my six groomsman suits were measured wrong and they had to go back multiple times for it to be fixed. Also, I was promised to receive my tux rental for free as I brought in my groomsman and parents for rentals, I never received that and they acted shady when I asked about it. Overall, a terribly experience with Men's Wearhouse. I would highly recommend using anyone but Men's Wearhouse. read more

Worst experience. Hisham and Automn were very aggressive and down right disrespectful. I'm not going into the long winded story as to how I can about going into this store but there was a disagreement. Autumn walked away in the middle of our conversation like a teenager. Hisham kept yelling over and and said she told you to dry clean first! I said I had no idea.... I went back to were autumn had walked to and told her that was very rude of her to walk away. She accused me of yelling at her. I did not. She agreed and said it felt that way. LOL I said I'm sorry you felt like I yelled at you when I didn't raise my voice... very weird ... Hisham ran back and said "sir DONT WAK AWAY WHEN I AM TALKING TO YOU!" he kept waiving his arms and being aggressive. I asked him to calm down as he was working himself up. He laughed at me and for asking him to relax. I AM SHOCKED AT THE LEVEL OF GUEST SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION. HORRIBLE. I see where the Sales floor gets it from. Well at least these two. VERY RUDE, and super weird. I delt with the assistant manager Tylor for my wedding and the guy was amazing, couldn't be happier with his service and he is why I came back. There is where I went wrong. I'm staying far away from this place ...FAR AWAY. Also, i was told it is company policy to dry clean all clothing before having them tailored. (Is have to get the items dry cleaned elsewhere and bring them a receipt showing proof ) before Men's Wearhouse made any alterations . I had a horrible experience with Autumn. She came off brash and harsh when I had questions about suit pricing. One of the prices didn't match what I had seen online ... this is not that big of a deal considering how much money I send on suits already. It was just a question. That's all. As a person who is in his late 20's and did not own a suit, it was a little nerve-wracking going in to pick one out for my wedding this summer. From the moment I walked in, Jon made my experience as easy as it could possibly be. With a large inventory, Jon explained all of the different types of suits available, differences in quality, and helped me pick a specific design that fit my broad shoulders as well as can be. I have been coming here now for many years. The first time was just a place that I saw online that had a good deal on dress shirts. I eventually made my way into the store and discovered they have validated parking, just bring your ticket from the gate when you entered the garage. I stepped into the store and I was honestly a bit overwhelmed with everything that had in their clothing. Their selection ranged from suits, jeans, sweaters, dress shirts, casual shirts, hats, gloves, scarves, jackets both heavy and lightweight. The first time I just took advantage of their 3 shirts for $99. This is where everything started, they showed me about the different cuts of shirts that were available. I have always hated baggy shirts and wanted a shirt that fit me and they indeed came through with flying colors. I came back a month later and bought a couple suits that they had tailored for me. The fit and finish shows when you have your clothes fitted to your body instead of just taking things off of a rack. After a couple more visits, Tyler, a excellent style consultant started to learn my style and would start bringing me to them to I could try them on. He is very good at also letting you know when there is a great deal in a size and style that fits your likes. After many shirts, slacks, jackets, hats and scarves they have proven to me that this place offers good deals and style at a reasonable price. read more

Driven by many times but never been in here until recently. Came in looking for a suit for my husband. It did look a bit like a warehouse. We were a bit overwhelmed by the options available. Fortunately everyone in the store was super nice and helpful. I had to leave for a bit while they took care of my husband and by the time I came back they had him all set up with some good options. Even had him try on a pair of shoes I really liked. Too bad he didn't. Oh and they were fast. My husband's pants were a little too long and 15 minutes later it was hemmed right there while we waited. My goodness. This review is really about service particularly by Sarah (she may be a manager there and if she isn't she should be) I took my 16 year old son there last weekend the day of Tolo. We needed a tie. Someone else started helping us and she jumped in and took over and boy I am so thankful she did. She matched the bowtie to the shoes perfectly and then asked us if we knew how to tie a bow tie. She got blank looks from both of us so she sat my son down and patiently showed him how to tie and bow tie. She probably sat with him for about 20 min and did it over and over till he felt comfortable. Before we left she said she was there till 6pm so if we have problems come back and see her My son tried to tie that bow tie for a good 30 min at home with no luck so at 5:30pm we rushed back there to catch her. This woman fixed his bow tie, his corsage and his pocket square. Teared up and gave him a hug and kiss. My son adored her and told all the boys (group of 12 at Tolo) about her and the service she provided. Thank you Sarah for taking the time to help us. Demon (de-mahn) saved our opinion of MW! My fiance needed his wedding outfit and the first time in, the salesman he worked with pushed so much stuff on him without building a solid outfit. He up-sold everything and it felt like he was all about his commission. It was buy one, get one - but he made sure to pull out every $200+ item as the "buy one" and the "get one" happened to be priced around $80. "You should get this undershirt. And definitely a pair of these underwear... " We finally told him we were done shopping - he didn't need anything else. We didn't come in to shop for underwear. He quickly measured my fiance for shirts and handed him a few (folded/packaged) that "should fit." Then the salesman needed to leave abruptly, before we got to the register. Imagine our faces when the total was around $800! Driving home, feeling absolutely horrible about the amount of money spent, and STILL didn't have a solid idea of what the outfit would even look like as the vest needed to be ordered, and the pants were being tailored... We realized he didn't even try on one of the shirts! Decided he'd stop by the Lynnwood location on his way home from work to return everything and speak to a different salesman, hoping to get the help he needed. Well guess who was on shift at the Lynnwood store? The same salesman. He went ahead and returned just about everything, but still left without having an outfit for the wedding. One more trip to the Bellevue store - and we found Demon, who was apologetic for our prior experiences with the store. This man KNOWS HIS STUFF. He took plenty of time to make sure we got what we needed within a reasonable budget. Those shirts mentioned before - were WAY too small & Demon knew this from just one look. He had him try on a few different styles until we found the right ones. Even though the hour was late, and they needed to do their end-of-day store duties, Demon helped us with every detail of the outfit and we left feeling 100% satisfied. Visited MW for a suit for husband for our daughters wedding. After a long while of trying he found the right color, the tailor came out took all measurements and within 2- weeks we had the suit back. Complete disappointment in fact not even sure if he did any alterations! With only a week till our daughters wedding there was no time for them to redo! Luckily our daughter being a designer has a tailor she trusts and will get the suit tailored properly and have it done before the big day! The staff there was great no complaints there when finding the suit, but would NOT recommend them for any tailoring. read more

I came here on a Friday night with my boyfriend who was looking for a suit. It was pretty dead as there was only one customer in the store. We weren't immediately greeted upon entry, which I found odd considering the sales associates work off of commission. Shortly afterwards a woman came up to us and tried to help us out. He tried on a few jackets and she kept going back and forth not really saying anything to us either. Then she mentioned that he wasn't a off the rack size which was perfectly fine as we had time for alterations. However, she heavily suggested a few jackets that were simply not fitting correctly at all. She claimed that they fit him but as someone whose worked in retail before, they didn't even look somewhat correct. Anyways, we eventually found one that fit well enough for alterations to take place that was conveniently on the sale rack. Our sales associate claimed that it was some good brand (at this point we knew she was just trying to sell us) and we got everything squared away. Turns out that upon looking on their website and googling the name of this 'brand' we couldn't find it anywhere! I'm guessing it's maybe an in house brand made specifically for Men's Wearhouse. Overall, we would not return to this location as the Lynnwood location has way better service, selection, and people. I'd also be weary of what brands they're attempting to sell you if you have never heard of them like me. read more

Overall: Bunch of aggressive, rude, arrogant and pompous a*seholes packed into one store! We visited this store after realizing they had a huge range of tall men's clothes. On arriving into the store we were immediately "greeted" by a woman who was asking us 20 million questions, we replied that we just wanted to browse and would find her if we needed anything. The store is full of formal wear - shirts, suits, ties and some shoes. We saw some leather jackets and got one off the rack to try on. It was a decent fit and $529.99 (half price at the moment), however, the sleeves were a little short. Then another sales assistant asks us have we been helped and started to bug us....argghhh! Original b*tch comes over "Is everything ok? Those [points] leather jackets are just marked down 50% as of today" Me thinking - what a load of bull-crap, I've seen them online at half-price for weeks! Us - "Yes, we did notice they were half price off" Original b*tch continues to stare at us, so I ask "Do you do any in a longer sleeve size?" Original b*tch "What size is that?" Me: "XLT" Original b*tch "That's how they are! If you stretch your arms out like that they are BOUND to be short. That's the way they were designed, PUT your arms down .... SEE, THAT'S HOW THEY SHOULD FIT.....it's the same with ANY sports jacket!" She then grabs the jacket off J and continues to stare at me, as I was holding the clothes hanger. She then proceeds to snatch it off me and went to tidily put it back on the rail. We left the store promptly after that. I've no idea if these people are on commission, but they won't be getting any money from us. They were very aggressive with their selling/bugging, rude, arrogant and highly pompous. For f**k sake, I am so very sorry for messing up your neat and tidy store. The reason why the store was so neat and tidy was because you as the customer should NOT take anything off the shelf/rack/rail and make it untidy. You ARE supposed to be HELPED! This store definitely deserves 0 stars, but this is impossible in Yelp - so it gets 1 star. read more

I have to say this was one of the most exemplary customer service experiences I have ever had! Let me begin with a small back-story: I am getting married on a short timeline (like 3 weeks). I ordered a vest for my wedding from amazon it arrive only two days before more wedding; and it didn't fit. I already own and admit to the fact that I am a big guy (both fat and muscle) and finding clothes that fit is already a challenge. I found myself the evening before my wedding without a vest. And it seems that tux vest run small. My fiance nearly had a meltdown and found ourselves calling stores in the area in a desperate hurry to find a vest. On our list was this location which said they had a vest in the size we were looking for. When we got there and tried it on, we found the vest did not fit. Discouraged, we decided to come back home and cut the back panel out of the one I ordered from amazon so I could close the front (and no one would know under my jacket. Just as we were getting ready to leave the manager stopped us and presented us with a sizing demo. I tried it on and it fit perfectly! He insisted that we borrow the vest for the wedding. After some hemming and hawing (because I have never been one to take charity), we relented and borrowed the vest. I have to say: I have never shopped at Men's Wearhouse before, but they have just made a customer for life! I truly appreciate them and all they did for me, and to loan me a vest at no cost? Wow! I have never had a customer service experience this outstanding before. And I plan to do a lot of shopping there for a sometime to come! I highly recommend this store! Booooo! Hisssss! Please, save yourself the trouble. We went into the men's wearhouse for my fiance's wedding tux. The first few times we went in, there was very good service! Very helpful! Very nice! It did not last. When my fiance went to try on his tux, he was pretty much ignored and given the satisfactory nod "yeah, that looks alright." I love my fiance very much, but he knows little about fashion...it would have been nice if someone took a little initiative to make sure he looked perfect. As it was, he had to mention how the shirt didn't fit and the tie was messed up. Grumble. Grumble. Also, we pre-ordered and pre-paid for 5 matching ties for some of the men in the wedding party. Those were supposed to be pre-ordered and ready to go on Wednesday when my fiance went to pick up the tux. Whoopsie, they forgot to order them on time and waited until Wednesday to order them. Grumble. Grumble. Now we're three days before the wedding, we don't have 5 matching ties, and I'm not so sure about this tux. The manager was slightly helpful when I called to complain. But, only slightly. It turns out the guy who was helping my fiance is an expert fitter, and while he may not have said anything, there were probably a million things he was doing without saying so. Had a fantastic experience here...everytime we went in here... We went in here today again to buy suiting for the hubby for a wedding. John, the sales rep was fantastic. He was extremely helpful with picking out hubby's suits. In fact, we both loved the first suit John picked out for the hubby... I went in to find a suit for my wedding, and was worried I was going to feel pressure or that my tastes weren't going to be heard like I've sometimes had at men's clothing stores but that couldn't have been further from my experience at the Bellevue Men's Wearhouse. My salesperson listened to what I had in mind, understood the aesthetic I was going for, and encouraged me to try a slightly different style that was even more like how I wanted to look. She was very patient in finding the right fit and when I felt like I loved the suit but had to sleep on it -- just because the wedding was a big deal, ya know? -- I got no pressure. Just a business card. I called back a couple of days to say I'll take it. Also, it seems a lot of complaints about MW here on yelp are about different stores not being able to cooperate/communicate. This made me a little anxious but, long story short, I bought a second suit for my father in New York and it involved coordinating between the Downtown Seattle MW and a MW in NY and they definitely had it together and were happy to help despite not having been part of the sale. My boyfriend needed a suit for an interview. Sara knew exactly what pieces would fit and look right. She was very personable and obviously experienced. The suit needed to be re-cut and altered to fit a difficult to fit body type. When we went to pick it up (2 days before big interview) nothing fit right. Pants were loose. Jacket looked like a hand me down with huge sleeves. I understand he is hard to fit... But it was not even close. Another tailor came to measure it again and said he would fix it by the next day. Oh, and because the first tailor didn't do anything about the clown sleeves the first time, we had to pay for more altering... After they got it wrong the first time! So we drive back again the next day (huge inconvenience) and it was almost right. The tailor had to fix the buttons. And he left the thread from the first button whole in the suit coat (I had to fish it out). I complained that there were other loose threads hanging all over and the salesman (who was like acting super inconvenienced) maybe fixed one of two threads and then told us to "enjoy our get together". Right. After getting the suit home we still aren't totally satisfied with the fit or altering. The suit gaps between the tops of his shoulders and his arms and it still looks like he's wearing his big brothers coat. The stitching around the suit looks like I could have done it. It's terrible. We keep cutting off fraying threads that pop up. I guess we expected a better end result after spending over $800 from a store that specializes in suits. I get clothes tailored often so I know a sloppy job when I see it. And I think the only professional person we encountered there was Sara. Won't go back... read more

My husband and his entire bridal party came in to rent tuxes for our wedding. We made an appointment and arrived on time. It took forever to get any help and little was given when we did get an associate to help us. They took his measurements and we were done. We made clear notes in the file that our wedding was out of town so we would need to pick up the tuxes 2 days early. When it arrived, my husband's pants were 3 sizes too big and falling off of him. The offered no solution as they did not carry his size in the store and could not get it in time for the wedding. We contacted them several times regarding this issue but have received no call back or compensation for the price they still made us pay to rent the tux. read more

Pricing: 3/10 Service: 4/10 Would I return?: No. I needed some nice clothes to interview for a job. And I did NOT want to wear Dockers or anything else that looks cheap and pedestrian. The MW man who helped me tried to push a LOT of product on me, even after the bill had exceeded $600. (He claimed to not know how much of a bill I had already racked up. Cough.) He also worked me to buy the most expensive items in each category. I understand that's how he makes his money, but I couldn't help but feel a bit used. At one point, he looked over at one of the other employees and openly rolled his eyes. He apparently thought I was asking more questions than he felt were warranted. Hey, sorry to put you out. The two people working the register area were neither cordial nor professional. Their lack of professionalism (smacking gum, joking with each other loudly, rolling their eyes, etc.) reminded me more of a McDonald's than it did a high-end clothier. At one point, a customer asked one of the two people what the store's hours were on a given day. The response? "Is this a quiz?" The person's attitude seemed to be that he/she knew the store's hours and therefore everyone else should know them and not "quiz" him/her about them. Bizarre, to say the least. I'm still pretty surprised at this kind of behavior. Might be time for some refresher courses on how to treat customers and act professionally. (I've just read some other people's reviews of this store. Obviously, I'm not the only one who has received lousy service.) My shopping experience at this store underscores the reason I do most of my shopping online. Overpriced product, poor service, and unprofessional employees who apparently don't have respect for their customers, employer, or business. Next time, I'll find another local business that can treat its customers with respect. read more

The Men's Wearhouse is not known for it's intensely great customer service. In fact, this is likely their weak point - most of the sales staff seem sleazy and are not very helpful. However, I had the completely opposite experience at the Bellevue, Washington location. I had to pick up a tux for my friend's wedding, and I was dreading the final fitting - they had messed up my other friend's tux at a nearby location, so I was dreading this. I fitted the tux, and it fit fine except for the pants being too long. The guy helping us saw the despair in my face, and said he would get their tailor to work on it right away - it might take 30 minutes because it was a weekend and they were busy. 5 minutes later, the guy came back out with my wrapped tux in hand and said it was done. The groom's tux also had needed a minor alteration and that was fixed at the same time. We were floored... actual good customer service at the Men's Wearhouse - who would have thought? We left happy, and had a good wedding. The best part was that they let us return the tux before the store even opened! It was like 9am on a Sunday and the guy said just bring it in. My fiancé and I came into the location hoping to look at suits to rent for our wedding. An exciting event! We actually drove from Seattle to Bellevue assuming there'd be more options and excellent customer service. Boy were so wrong. We walked into a fairly large store, with lots of options, with not many customers and began looking around waiting for one of the many salespeople to approach us. One of the gentleman asked if we needed help. We showed him a suit that was similar to the color we were hoping for. He immediately said those are only for purchase in a tone that made me feel as if I was foolish for not knowing that. Smiling I just told him that we were hoping to rent since we have a limited budget, but would like something similar in color and told him the fit we were hoping for. He just said follow me to the back where we have our rentals and that if we're only renting then the fits never going to be exactly what we're hoping for. Almost as if he was annoyed that we weren't purchasing and letting us know we wouldn't be 100% satisfied with their product unless we dropped the big bucks. When we got to the back he just pointed at three and said these are your only options, honestly we felt like a bother to them. I just smiled and let them know we'd keeping looking. He didn't seem to have been bothered that he wasn't going to get our business. It was really a bummer for the two of us as we're very excited to get married. I've rented from Menswarehouse many times in the past and had great service. I'd recommend passing on this location. They can't seem to be bothered to help people who only want to rent. I guess the search continues for us. read more

One of favorite pastimes is shopping. So when the time came to buy a suit, I was really looking forward to being waited on hand and foot and talking about clothes all for me. While my suit does look pretty sharp, I hate the fact that it came from this store, the buying experience was HORRIBLE. I can't remember the asshole sales guy's name, but this condescending snot made it clear that no fun is to be had by either one of us. Did I mention that I love shopping for clothes? First, I'm skinny and tall, so fitting clothing can be a struggle. But that said, when something does fit well it's a dream- I'm built like a mannequin ironically enough. But don't tell me I need to eat a steak, not all of us have yuppie bloat like you buddy. Also, don't complain about your lack of commission once you find out I'm only buying one suit- you're lucky I even bough one from you, you fat dickhole. Don't lecture me about colors I don't like, or show me ugly 1991 ties. And don't run out early because you "have an appointment." The saving grace of the experience was the cashier kid, also clearing knowing of your giant douchbagery, tells me that your appointment was catching a bus. Props to the check out kid, I guess there's still some sanity left on the East side. read more
