We brought 4 suits here to be fitted (sleeves, back, pants waist and length) based on the high yelp reviews. We wanted a very experienced master tailor after a couple bad jobs from Nordstrom. We knew of course it would cost more, and take longer, but were willing to pay for quality. I made an appointment specifically requesting a master tailor. A younger lady did the fitting, but I didn't want to be sexist/ageist and question her abilities. Unfortunately, we were not pleased with the results. After an extra week of delays we finally picked up the suits and found all four pants not fitted correctly and had to be returned...one pair was skipped entirely with the chalk marks where it was supposed to be altered still visible. We brought them all back and the master tailor (older gentleman) personally refitted and marked the pants and we picked them up a few days later. So three weeks and $600 later the suits were finally wearable. Overall, meh experience. Should have just gone with the free alterations from Nordstrom. read more

Various types of fabrics , Bespoke measure down to your length and widths, high level of customer services with Jane and owner Nicole. First time owner of a custom bespoke suit and let me tell you, Jane walked me through every detail of that. From top to bottom I wanted something that is modern yet classic , I did my own research and they helped me to understand more. For my first suit I chose Super120 Navy fabric . From lapels to button I get to choose on 3 booklet of catalogs . On the website they stated 3~4 weeks of turn time. I got the suit within 3 week. Fitting was perfect , all i wanted, very dapper . Will recommend to anybody that's on the suit game. No more on the rack suit, this is a true unique experience! read more

I don't know why I didn't write a review earlier. This is a good location to get your suits and pants tailored. The priced are very reasonable, the staff are friendly and courteous and the price is right. Don't think that just because it's a really nice shop in downtown Bellevue that it will cost you an arm and a leg to get your clothes altered. I will be coming back in the next few weeks to drop off more items to get tailored. Just as an example, if you compare the cost and service between Trillium and Nordstrom, Trillium wins in both categories. I highly recommend this location. read more

My mind was completely blown with the service here. INCREDIBLE. I ordered my wedding dress online and received it just a couple weeks before my wedding (I know, I know, my mistake)... And it didn't fit right. The neckline (it was a full covered neck) was stabbing the back of my head because I'm only 5'2" and this dress was apparently made for someone more around 5'8" or taller. I WAS PANICKING. I called around to 8 places in total and also sent emails - My emails included the exact dimensions of my dress and what I needed done. I live 2 hours away from Seattle, so I really needed quotes before making a 4 hour round-trip adventure and maybe have to go back for further measurements. Majority of the people refused to give me quotes over the phone or via email which didn't make sense given that they had everything they needed...but 3 people did respond. Nicole at Trillium was one of them - They all asked me to take pictures of myself in the dress and show exactly what I needed done. So I did. The price the first two people quoted me was INSANE. By any standards. We are talking over $500 just to fix a neck. Nicole's quote was LESS than half of that! But that is NOT why I'm writing this review..read on! I drove all the way to Seattle to drop off my dress. I walk into Trillium and Nicole is extremely welcoming and kind. She had me put the dress on, took my measurements, and was very receptive to what I needed done. Knowing that I had a 4 hour roundtrip and that my wedding was quickly approaching, Nicole made my dress priority and....she had it altered for me SAME DAY! While my now-husband and I drove around with our 3 year old to burn time, Nicole worked quickly to finish this for me and she didn't charge anything extra. When she called me back to try the dress on, it was perfect! And what she charged, which I won't say here, almost made me faint (in a GOOD way)! What an incredible woman. What an incredible company. If you are looking for personalized, genuine service, unbeatable prices, and fantastic results..... GO TO TRILLIUM! After two different trips into Trillium to just have a pant hemmed and then an older suit fitted (which I thought was not possible) I decided to step it up and have a shirt made to order. I never realized how a bespoke garment could make me look and feel. The need to have my pant hemmed got me into Trillium, but the quality of service will keep me going back. It took me a while to write this review, mainly because I don't know where to start. Nicole is an absolute pleasure to work with, and I would consider her a friend after the experience (although it sounds like she is just great to everyone based on the other reviews!) First and foremost you probably care about the quality of your clothes if you come to Trillium, I came looking at options for my wedding and never had a second thought about quality being Trillium's Num. 1 priority. I might argue that fitment and style could be tied there though. I didn't think it was possible to look like a celebrity without the million dollar checkbook, but by the end of the process I felt confident that I could walk the red carpet. From buttons to the fabric behind your collar, you are enabled to customize your suits and shirts. I was thoroughly impressed. With Nicole and Kayla's help along the way I didn't end up with a purple suit (of course if that's your thing I guarantee you won't find a better made and fitted purple suit in the NW), while still allowing my own personal creativity and style come out. Not just a tailor, but personal fashion-advice from very informed professionals. I wondered how much the consultation on style would cost, it was that good. I can't say enough great things about my suit and the work they did. I wouldn't trust anyone else on one of the most important days of my life. Got custom-tailored shirts made at Trillium - as good as I've ever seen (as someone who has ordered made-to-measure clothes in Hong Kong, London and India). Excellent quality, but expect to pay the price for custom, made-to-measure clothes. Nicole was professional (former banker, and savvy about fashion-forward clothes and the more conservative uniforms in the financial sector) responsive. Trillium was delight to work with, and I am very happy with the beautiful shirts they've made. Top notch people, great products. I also found Trillium online and decided to try them because of their good reviews and I'm glad I did. While their prices are about the same as I've paid for similar tailoring before, what sets them apart is their really nice store and the very friendly girls who work there. My daughter needed fast tailoring for her homecoming dress last Oct, and they were so great at accommodating us as well as doing a great job. Beware Brides! TAKE DETAILED PICTURES OF YOUR DRESS BEFORE YOU LET THIS BUSINESS TOUCH IT! A week ago my daughter posted a review about the damage that was done to my Wtoo wedding gown. The owner Nicole reached out to me quicky after I called to complain about my gown and asked if I would bring it in, so I did. She proclaimed that it was fixable so I left my dress in her hands. A couple days later I was called back into store. When I arrived I was welcomed to my dress in its same butchered condition. When I asked why wasn't the dress fixed they respond with... the tailors are not admitting to cutting the hem, and they had the audacity to pass the blame on me when they know for a fact, I bought a perfect beautiful gown. Knowing how unsatisfied I was and what a nightmare this has been, they let me leave with my still damaged gown no discount or refund and they also requested that I remove these very honest reviews. read more

If you like guessing how much your suit alteration will cost you, and have a ton of cash floating around, you should come here. Let's start by saying I was skeptical after the tailor had pinned my suit up, and said it would cost $165. I'm not complaining about the price, because I understand a master tailor, with many alterations, can charge a handsome fee. My suit was simply not worth that type of alteration, so I wanted to get another estimate. I didn't mind if the alteration wasn't perfect, if it was cheaper, since the suit was cheap to begin with., and certainly not worth $165. I should have trusted my instinct, and left the store when the tailor (frank), started to lower the price to $110. I thought, hey, that's more doable. I REALLY should have left when he didnt' offer a receipt, or the list of alterations he was planning on doing. Instead, I really insisted I wanted to keep this quote for future reference. So he wrote it down on his business card. When I went to pick up the suit, the final bill was $130 before tax. At first, the girl tells me it's "the tax". Then she backs up and says it's due to the extensive alterations on teh back of the jacket. She was NOT the tailor, so how would she know? It's not the price. It's the principle. I felt like I was going to the car mechanic. At least a mechanic has the decency to notify you if more work is involved, and the cost would be higher than quoted. The sales girl apologized, but didn't do anything to make it right. I'm sure they did a great job on the alteration. After all Frank is a master tailor, or so he claims. If you have a big wallet and can spend up to 50% more than their "quote" (originally 165, then he came down to 110), this place is for you! Since when did we have to bargain for suit alterations? I never write reviews, but this has to be put out there. The 5 stars I see here are probably fair if you only evaluate their tailoring, but when it comes to their business practice, that is questionable. read more

Do not take women's suits there! I read on Yelp that some brides had been to Trillium to get their dresses altered, so I figured they would know how to fit something to a woman. I was very disappointed when I had my jacket altered here. I came in to have some extra fabric in the chest removed, but when I left it there all they did was add to the waist (making the problem worse!). I was swimming in it! It was difficult to talk to the tailor who doesn't speak very good English. The only thing that saved it was how nice the staff were. (Even if they didn't help me communicate with the tailor, I'd ask them for help and they'd look just as helpless as I.) They didn't charge me for the second time I had to send it in, and were professional and pleasant. read more

We visited yesterday and found the store after some trouble. The staff were patronizing and condescending. We just needed some sleeves shortened. They said it would take fifteen minutes before they could mark the shirt, so they suggested we come back then. It would also take a week to do the work. We left and will not return. I know they said they were busy with weddings but we found the experience unpleasant, as if they were too good to do routine work. We came as we needed quick turn around on an expensive shirt for an interview and saw all the other good reviews. If you are staying at the Hyatt, they may work well for you, otherwise you will also need to pay for parking. read more

If you need a dress shirt or suit and you want to impress or just like quality fitted clothes then definitely check it out. They were great! I took in a bridesmaid dress that I needed hemmed within a week. I didn't have an appointment but they were super accommodating. However - be sure to make an appointment!! Trillium offers a great service. I pretty much always feel like off-the-rack clothes are too big and bulky and it's been great having a place that can make shirts that fit me well. It's also nice to have control over the pattern and style as well. I have four shirts and a suit now from Trillium and plan on getting more over time. I have used a number of e-tailors and brick and motor locations. When it comes to true bespoke tailoring, Trillium is by far the best. Always the most unique and creative styles. Every thing that trillium does is to make sure you are extremely satisfied. Bellevue historical sweep: Becks was a long time Bellevue source of custom tailoring and alterations, but closed down about 2008 and recommended Hartmanns at the 108 address, which is the location now occupied by Trillium inside the corner building complex as suite 108, since you cannot see a 108 street address from the street. Take your parking stub with you, and they will cover your parking. This rating is just a first pass, it may be higher after the altered suit comes back... read more

I first came to Trillium for a deal that Gilt had on a custom suit. After working with Nicole though I decided to add some shirts as well. Creating my first set of custom suit and shirt options was really an educational experience with all the choices and I have to say that the outcome is that these are my favorite wardrobe items now. I've come back a few more times in the last two years and this is a great option to really build some signature pieces to phase out the usual boring business and going out friendly attire you find everywhere else. Nicole saw my original posting and reached out to us to try and fix what had been a bad experience with one of her employess. Not only did she remedy the experience, but she made the new experience one of THE best positive customer experiences I have had in a very long time. My husband and I got matching tuxes made by Nicole and her staff at Trillium for our wedding. She did an outstanding job on them and not only did some very custom work, as we were looking for a western (cowboy) cut to our tuxes. This was all new work for her and her team, but she not only met our expectations, but went above and beyond in creating a look for both of us that was better than we had hoped for. Given the difference in our body builds, she ws able to make them look exceptional for both of us and we will remember her for the outstanding work that she did and the timeline in which she created our tuxes. 90%+ (what i was looking for: wardrobe guidance like i could get back home) - when i first came here, everything i knew about suits had come out of nph's mouth. back in the real world, i'll probably never buy a suit off a rack again. every time i come here, i learn something. sometimes, it's something little, like how to hang pants on a slippery hanger so they don't fall off. maybe it's bigger picture, like an introduction to color theory (i'm challenged in the color-matching department). it was here that i learned how clothes are supposed to fit a man, what kind of break my slacks should have, and to notice details like overlapping cuff buttons or accent stitching. i'm all torso and no legs, so they recommended slanted jacket pockets to help compensate for that. when i wanted a custom lining, they told me to pick a design on spoonflower and send my fabric to trillium. then they made me a truly one-of-a-kind suit. i've compared them to a couple of other tailoring services - traveling tailors or otherwise - and i haven't found anyone that can compete with this level of customization and value. the proof is in the complements i started getting, the people asking what bank i robbed and what designer label i gave the money to. if i ever run into ben mcadoo, i'll surely tell him to come here the next time he's in town to play the seahawks. read more

This place is great! I have always had trouble finding button down collared shirts that fit. I went to Trillium the first time to see if I could finally get a shirt that fit. They did a great job on fit and the shirts themselves makes my suits less drab. I had so much fun picking the fabric, the cuffs, collar and buttons. I finally had the shirts I really wanted. You can go to Nordstrom and buy a shirt there for the same price. It will be a nice shirt but not one you designed and one that fits you perfectly. read more
