I was VERY clear I have long extensions and just wanted a nice trim while keeping my length. The receptionist assured me they had someone "really good." When I got there, I explained everything again to Blanca (the stylist), showed her my extensions, told her I wanted LONG hair -- just cleaned-up ends. She started cutting and right away I noticed she kept dropping her tools on the dirty floor covered in hair... then picking them up and using them on my hair without cleaning or sanitizing anything. That alone made me super uncomfortable, but I didn't speak up because I was nervous about offending her and risking an even worse haircut. While she was cutting, I literally kept telling her it was getting too short... and she kept cutting anyway. At the end she asked if I liked it -- I said no, it's too short and my extensions are damaged. Her response? "It'll grow back in a month." Girl... these are 24" Bellami extensions I paid $1,488.44 for. Good quality hair. Not something you just shrug off. I called back and had to wait until Tuesday for the owner, Teresa, to step in. The haircut was CHOPPED. Blanca used a blade instead of scissors and left random pieces longer than others. She took about 4 inches off when I specifically asked for just the ends. Completely ruined my extensions. To make it worse, my birthday party is this Friday and now my hair looks terrible. Teresa's "solution" was to cut the little extensions sticking out even shorter to match the bad cut -- basically ruin them more. Then she refused to pay for my extensions and suggested I buy new ones on Amazon so she could install them. Be serious... I paid for quality Bellami hair, not cheap replacements. She initially offered a refund for the cut and blow dry, which I agreed to. But when I got to the desk? Suddenly it changed -- I only got $35 back when my total service was $245 plus tip. Customer service is trash, accountability is nonexistent, and my hair (and money) are gone. Do NOT come here -- and definitely don't let Blanca cut your hair.

I thoroughly did my research reading all the reviews and set up a consultation with the owner figuring I was in good hands. I left after our consultation feeling confident that we were on the same page. There were a couple of red flags though, he said I should go blonde and that women should have long flowing hair. I have an edgy bob undercut. Shorter hair suits me best and it's me! I left his salon with uneven extremely brassy highlights after showing him many photos of what I wanted. Again he said yes, of course. I went into his salon with damaged hair from highlights previously done at another salon and left with even more over processed hair. Needless to say they lost a client. This brings me to R&H. Brian took the time to listen to me and was honest with me in that he didn't want to lighten my hair at this point because of the state my hair was in. We talked about our options and decided to do a gloss. From the beginning he said due to the different colors and unevenness of my hair, the gloss would add shine and tone down the brassiness. While it's not where I want my hair to be, it's a work in progress and for now I'm treating it with Olaplex and hair masks. My hair is shinier and softer. I appreciated Brian's honesty and candor and plan to visit him in the near future.

I have a horrific experience here and it alllll started when I called to book an appointment with a MASTER STYLIST and long behold I was placed with the lady who does nails and they were TRAINING to cut hair. SHE REUINED MY HAIR!!! Please refer to the photo. I mean it will be years before I can grow my bangs out, they go all the way back into by head far beyond my ears. BUT. I had a traditional facial with extractions, microdermabrasion, and a blue light type of device she used to treat mild acne, calm the skin, and kill bacteria. My Spanish is horrible, but Jackie is patient and takes her time to make sure she understands and gives you exactly what you want. Plus, she knows all things skin related in English, so even if you don't speak any Spanish, just trust Jackie to do everything, and relax. She is fantastic at her job.
