The shop is owned by a father and son. Most of my communications were with the son, Duane. Duane gave me his personal cell phone number and texted me updates/pics along the way. If I could give zero starts I would this place is not even worthy of one star. I have a 2013 Prius that was in mint condition until I was hit. My insurance sent me to this place to get an estimate for repairs. The guy at this place was nice and very helpful so I decided to hire them to repair my Prius. He said the car would look like new and that it would take about 3 weeks but because of the holidays that I was looking more like 4 weeks. They had high end cars in the shop that they had supposedly repaired and they all looked great which reassured me that they would do a good job. A few weeks went by without any calls from the shop and I called them to see at about the progress and I was told that they were waiting on my insurance to okay the work. I was like why had no one called me?? They had no answer so I called my Insurance. Well my insurance company said they had okayed the work since day one. So I called the the body shop back and told them that and he said to have the insurance company refax the approval. And I did. And then I check back and the body shop said they received it and that they would start ordering the parts. I should have taken my car back at this point. Long story short it took 10 weeks to get my car back and used parts were used to repair the car that look used. So my car is no longer in mint condition. They charged my insurance company almost $9000 dollars for this unsatisfactory repair job. It seems that it's a family owned business and the owner refuses to hear my concerns. I also made the owner aware that there was a small dent that wasn't there before. He referred me to a dent removal business. Basically the owner was like "Just get your car and go." After spending $9000 you think they would treat you a little better. Oh yes.. it seems that all the doors were left open during the whole time because the inside of the car was full of dust and small debris that you would find in a body shop, even the engine compartment was filthy where before I took pride in keeping it clean. I wish I knew better and did not take my car to this family business. I thought to work with a family business would be much more beneficial to help the community but I was dead wrong. I took my car in as a reference from a very trusted friend who had a pleasant experience. I gave him the insurance check of over $4,600.00 to replace my hood, right headlight and front bumper. I wish I went with my insurance list and picked someone from it. A week later in a rental car, I picked up car and was happy with it. A little over a year later, paint started to peel from the mentioned areas, the hood started bubbling. During a routine oil change at my mechanic, he advised me to take it back to the same business which I did. I called, made an appointment and showed up with my 2014 car which was repaired about 1.5 years later. They diagnosed the issue on the hood as a used one with rust on it. The headlight under the hood has a missing bolt that should fasten it in place and the bumper paint is peeling. I explained to the business owner and his son that my car was repaired in their shop and that I was hoping to learn that they caught someone cheating but all they did is insist that my car was not repaired at their shop although they have a record of it and they called the insurance company and took more money than the initial check at the time of the repair. Don't take your car to this business. One star is way too much for this business. I called Channel 9 and I am waiting to get a chance to tell my story. I trusted this business leaving my insurance recommendation behind to help in my own community and I ended up with a car with less than 5 years old full of rust, peeling paint and missing screws on the replaced headlight!! read more
