A good friend of mine, who also shares my love for German-engineered cars, recommended this place when I mentioned I was having issues with my 2013 Porsche Panamera. The car had been sitting for about seven months, and I didn't know where to take it. My friend had taken his BMW M3 and other cars here before and couldn't stop raving about the work they do, so I decided to give it a try. The team at Auto Tuning House really impressed me. They clearly know German cars inside and out, and their passion for what they do shows in how they explain everything. They took the time to walk me through the issues and what they planned to do to fix them, which gave me so much confidence in their expertise. While I was there, I met a couple of other customers, also with German cars, and they all said the same thing, this is the shop to go to if you have a German vehicle in Orlando. The shop is a little tucked away, so you might miss it if you're not looking for it, but it's worth finding. Their pricing is fair, especially for the level of care and detail they provide, which isn't always easy to find when it comes to these kinds of cars. As someone who only drives German-engineered vehicles, knowing I have a trusted place to turn to in Orlando is a huge relief. Even though I haven't gotten my car back yet, I feel confident the work will be excellent. The way the team approaches their work combined with their clear love for what they do really sets them apart. I'm giving four stars for now because I like to save five stars for after I've experienced the full service, but I already know this will be my go-to spot in the future. Before moving to Georgia, I had my car serviced at ATH (in May of 2017). The turbos had to be redone, the oil pan gasket and the oil filter gasket. Unfortunately I'm not aware of which person specifically worked on my car or else i would've called them out without any shame. I only went there because someone in the same car group I'm with, their cousin works in the shop or up front at the desk. First of all they took a week. I didn't mind leaving it there for so long because i was under the impression my concerns were being taken care of. I left my car there and made the initial move to Georgia thinking I'm leaving my car in great hands. Man oh man was I wrong. I went to pick my car up and the first thing I noticed was that my front bumper was NOT in the same position I had left the car in. It was hanging. The front bumper wasn't intact as professional as it should have been before dropping it off but it sure as hell wasn't hanging low on one side either. Whatever. Secondly, the front bumper flaps were in all sorts of disarray. Every time I turned the wheel all you heard was the flaps rubbing on my tires. It didn't do that before dropping it either. Ok. Thirdly, they had me pay almost $900 out of pocket from what the warranty didn't cover AND STILL DIDNT PUT ALL THE PARTS THAT WAS NEEDED AND DIDNT BOLT UP THE NECESSARY SCREWS THAT WAS NEEDED. IF YALL DIDNT WANNA DO THE WORK JUST SAY SO. DONT SHORT CHANGE ME ON WHAT IM PAYING YOU TO DO. ITS YOUR JOB AS THE MECHANIC TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS CAR LIKE ITS YOUR OWN. I screwed up thinking because my friends cousin worked there my car would've been taken care of. You guys are true SCAMMERS and I'm so upset that I have to pay someone again WHO ACTUALLY GIVES A CRAP about their job and my car to fix YOUR MECHANICS screwups. I initially called to get a quote on installing lowering springs on my 2019 mustang GT. Even though their specialty is BMW they offered to help me without question. They gave me a very competitive price quote and was very professional about it. When I went to drop the vehicle off, I was a bit throw off by the location. It is kind of difficult out to find. They share the same building as another automotive shop, but when I saw the abundance of BMW's, Mercedes, even a Lamborghini, Ferrari, and a McLaren I knew I was in the right place. I will be the first to admit I am an a**hole when it comes to me vehicle, I expect people to treat is as if it was there own and many people do not. This place did, I count not find one fingerprint nor anything out of place. The car looked exactly as how I dropped it off. The springs were installed, much quicker then the estimated time they gave me. To which I was very pleased to hear. The vehicle and the new spring were exactly what I expected. The guys who work there were very personable and great to talk to. They truly have a passion for performance vehicles and they are quite knowledgeable about them. ATH is the place you want to go for great service! I've worked with Jayson, Matt and Will. They work hard to make sure cars are finished on time and done right the first time. These guys work on anything from a 1990s 3 series to a brand new m5. The level of expertise is unmatched along with their customer service. I've seen the owner, Will, go out of his way to make sure a customer was happy before he left with his e90. He is very humble, honest and up front. You don't see this is most shops. Jayson has been able to answer all of my technical questions, this guy is really BMW smart. Matt, the shop manager has gone out of his way to find parts for my car without me having to even ask him. If I could give negative stars I would. I gave them 4 months to get my car running. Matt, the service writer is delirious. He takes on work and puts people on the schedule in his head. Customers arrive and can't get work done because they don't have the time. They then promise to have it done for you and your car gets abandoned, stored improperly, and leaves in a worse state than you gave it to them. I have experience with shop dynamic all over the country, great relationships with prestigious shops that are longstanding, and honor when it comes to paying my bills. I respect paying for quality work and will NEVER haggle regarding an hourly rate because that comes out of your pocket at the end of the day. I give more than due time for shops because I know they're busy and overwhelmed. When I set a 6 month time frame for you to do your work and you accept the job, you better bet I expect you to do what was promised. Four months went by and finally I was told that they can't promise me they'd get to my car in the timeframe. Four months. I have one car. No respect for human beings. Forget cars. This place is just sad. The only customers that are happy are the ones that are allowed to come in and do their own work for free since Matt never gets their jobs done. People love to talk down PSI for making mistakes and charging a high hourly rate. At the end of the day everyone makes mistakes. Shops do all the time. The difference between PSI and Auto Tuning House despite the rate difference is that Sean at PSI will a) tell you he can't take your job when he has a full lot and b) he sure as hell will honor whatever has gone wrong should their be an issue. For all locals, the short drive to Oviedo will bring a great long term reward. Being cheap with your BMW will have you saying "these cars suck." Took my 2012 E93 for a suspension job back in July of 2017. Ordered the H&R and Koni Yellows per Will's recommendations. Pricing was super-competitive; picked up the car and loved the mod. Had them upgrade to metal brake lines and M3 upper and lower control arms in the front. ATH is the shop you want to have as the home to your BMW's. I have been working on my cars with my friends as DIY in my garage for the past decade until I met Will and the team at ATH. I brought them my 2017 BMW M2 back in December for some exhaust modifications and had the worse experience of fitment and customer support with the company that provided the exhaust. Will and his team worked effortlessly and went above and beyond to take care of me and my car and ensure that bad experience did not taint my love for cars and modifications. Since then they are the only shop that touch my cars. I trust them blindly to the point that they handled all my DINAN modifications which include cutting/trimming parts of my brand new 2017 M2. I have been so happy with all the work they performed on the M2 that I ended up buying a used 2011 BMW 135i because I knew I had found a shop I could trust 100% with any of my cars. I have visited the shop at least half a dozen times to work on the cars. My most recent visit was last week where they took care of my 135i with multiple items on it.
