Doctor Workneh is a highly-skilled dentist. The Doctor at Unique Dental has helped with several of my dental needs. The office staff is absolutely terrific. I broke my crown in December of 2024. My dental insurance refused coverage, but Doctor Workneh and his staff worked diligently, filing several claims to my insurance company over several months time. Unique Dental wouldn't give up. They continued to contact my insurance, insisting that my insurance cover the claim. I began to lose to hope. One day, I received a phone call from Unique Dental. They said, "Hello, Sir! We have great news! Your insurance covered the claim!" I am so very grateful that the staff kept working with my insurance until it was covered. As of today, I have a brand new crown. It fits perfectly! After Doctor Workneh was finished with the procedure, I gave him a hug! I almost cried. I tip my hat to Doctor Workneh, and his wonderful staff, who never gave up on me, and provided me with a beautiful, bright smile to share with the rest of the world. I can't thank them enough. I called and scheduled an appointment for a deep cleaning specifically. While waiting in the chair, I ask the assistant if he's going to numb me for my deep cleaning. The assistant proceeds to tell me that I'm not able to get a deep cleaning because the dentist has to refer me out for one...he said "it's only necessary if the dentist thinks it is,like if your gums are bleeding, we can do a deep cleaning but we're gonna charge you $600"... And gives me attitude simply because I'm asking questions which I'm allowed to do. Then he walks out of the room, saying that the dentist is going to come and talk to me. The front office assistant did not inform me at all that a deep cleaning couldn't be done. Finally I told the dentist, to just give me a regular cleaning... to which he says "oh a regular cleaning can only be done once a year". Like what? Beyond ridiculous and unprofessional. Everyone was awesome! I needed to get in ASAP and Claudia was gracious enough make it happen even though she was not in the office. She really did go above and beyond. Sooo grateful! The girls in the front were very friendly and welcoming. The Dentist was also very friendly and nice. If there was an option for no stars, that'd be my preferred option. My daughter (2yrs old) chipped her tooth yesterday, she couldn't get seen by her primary dentist because they are closed on Thursday's. So, I called up my insurance, they gave me a list of different dentists, one of those being Unique Dental Care. My insurance spoke with them and they said they could see my daughter, all I had to do was call Unique Dental and confirm some information (pretty standard, so no problem for me). I call Unique Dental, they receptionist/whoever answered the phone was completely rude! First, she answered the phone with a whole lot of attitude (which I shook off at first). I politely explained to her my situation but as I'm explaining I can hear her speaking with someone else in the background. I pause to allow her to finish speaking with the other person then I continue. She didn't get a word I said and asked me to repeat myself. I do. Then she tells me that she never spoke with any insurance called "Healthnet" and that she couldn't schedule me in. At this point I know she was still not listening because I clearly stated my insurance was Liberty not this ''Healthnet" she was referring to. After I correct her, she goes on to speak about their policy with new referrals, speaking to me as if I'm dumb and didn't know the basic procedures. I cut her off and tell her I already know that and she goes on to say that "well, anyways, I can't take any new referrals and without that I can't schedule you in" ...whether what she was said at the end was true or not, why did they tell my insurance they could see my daughter? It was a complete waste of time. And the rudeness in her voice and terrible customer service was the cherry on top. I can tell she lacked any sort of compassion and dreaded the fact that she had to answer my call. I was only asking/seeking help, no need to treat people like that. I never actually went in but the way she treated me over the phone made sure I never do go to Unique Dental Care on franklin blvd. read more

I just went in today for my first day of dental care cleaning done by the two doctors. I love how they greet their patients and they take their time to do the job but they work fast at the sametime. One experience that I love about it today is the dental doctor who clean my teeth goes by the name Hammeed. He does a very good job on my teeth. He has a unique soft hands to clean teeth very soft and gentle but at a fast paste. The other doctor also as good and friendly. Good first...This is a very clean office, my family was very excited to find them after a few choices didn't add up to our expectations. After my youngest had a great experience I then scheduled my oldest daughter for an exam then treatment. I pulled my daughter out of school race to be there on time so I didn't inconvenience the doctor. My daughter had a tooth that was hurting her and she was in pain .My daughter was in chair for treatment then right as he was about to give her the shot I was told that composite is not an option on posterior teeth by doctor. I was told it was "doctor's policy" and even though my insurance covered white feelings( composite) He was NOT going to do it.I even said I would pay! She's in pain. I begged for him to do just those two fillings. STILL NO- Major inconvenience to me. I felt so bad for my daughter. She cried as we got in the car. I asked did she want to do it anyway. She said kids tease kids if they have silver feelings. I should have been told this at the exam he knew dealing with my youngest that I did not like amalgam fillings which are the silver fillings. It should have been stated somewhere on a website or in BOLD PRINT on signing paperwork before we got excited to be a part of this dental family .I was told I needed to go find another doctor that would do it. Big disappointment. I expressed my frustrations to the front office manager, I was told I would get a call back and they would speak to the doctor about it never got a call back. I even left a message with my concerns and still no call.Very upseting! poor customer service and follow through and I don't feel the doctor should decide for patients... it's not a specialty office. never go to this dental office, unique dental, on 7300 franklin blvd. i have had my life ruined because of unique dental and dr. sirak workeh. dr. sirak workeh refused to give me a dental treatment plan and just wanted to pull tooth after tooth after tooth. he had no resolution for my pain but to pull my teeth. i was denied care. and in the process laughed at me while denying me any other treatment. i was disrespected in his office multiple times and not listened to whenever i had a dental issue. he was always very combative while talking to me and wanted an argument to refuse my treatment!!! not to mention his office and staff do not take sanitary precautions for the patients. the office is not clean. i beleive there has been a ton of medical malpractice from dr. sirak workneh as my health has been affected as a direct result of his negligence. do not go to this dentist nor the office, he is the worst dentist i have ever been to in my life. read more

I came to this office once before, now it was time to schedule my child's cleaning good luck calling in the morning. Voicemail machine full and not the first time I had called before and I couldn't leave a message either. When I called again I was put on hold 3 times without even asking me and was left waiting for over 5 minutes without even checking back with me. I had to hung up and call again, what kind of service is this. When I was finally able to talk to the receptionist she was so unapologetic and unprofessional I asked why she kept putting me on hold she said her systems where loading which is understandable so why instead of telling me this you keep putting me on hold without even asking me talk about customer service skills that receptionist is really lacking some. So instead of apologizing she said to go somewhere else wow without a doubt I'm taking my business elsewhere. Dr. Workneh is a kind and conscientious doctor, but he has a truly awful receptionist who is bent on making your life hell. She's a middle-aged woman (who's most likely Hispanic) who is ugly on the inside and outside. While the doctor is a polite and patient man, this receptionist is almost always rude to the patients, including the elderly and those who don't speak English very well. She will threaten to not process your insurance claims, even when your insurance company calls her up to tell her she should. She will hang up on you and not let you talk to the doctor when you have a complaint, but when you do finally get through to the doctor, he is always reasonable. Mainly, this is because the receptionist has no manners, and even though she is clearly not too bright, she always wants to scream and shout as if she's in charge., Unfortunately, you cannot talk to the doctor whenever you'd like because he's with other patients, so you're stuck dealing with this receptionist with a really bad attitude. Do not go to this office. It's not worth the hassle or the insults. read more

I as a single mother of three kids, had the worst experience with this dental office. First, they had my first child appointment set around November, then cancel due to all power out. Okay, its understanding. My two other kids on other hand, their appointment was in early December also had to be canceled, because of the Holiday and the Dentist was out of town.
