Inside there was a line of people sitting waiting to be serviced. When it was my turn, I had the pleasure of meeting Bruce Le the owner. A simple conversation of my needs and off he went to service each watch one at a time. He also educated me on my 2nd watch I brought in which was a Japanese Seiko watch. I let him know that I was missing pins for the links that I needed put back on, after a quick look; he let me know that the links also needed tubes for the pins . So I asked my options or if purchasing a new SEIKO bracelet was a cheaper option. He let me know a new bracelet would run over $200 for the same style. (idk, I think it's just over a carat, but I didn't care about the size because the clarity and cut were so gorgeous) He gave us such a good deal, too! I took two chains that needed fixing and an opal ring I needed resizing. The ring was my Mom's, so I was worried, especially after another jeweler said they wouldn't/couldn't/shouldn't do it because resizing would damage the setting. I was under the impression, from them, that no one would attempt it. So the ring sat in my drawer. I decided to take it to Unique Jewelers, when I took my chains in, to see what they would say. Mr. Le assured me he could do it no problem. I expected to have to leave it for several days. He said he could fix it by 3 that day. I was amazed. Sure enough he had it done within 2 hours and also the chains. The resizing looks beautiful. He had to cut the band, add gold and reshape. No one would be able to tell the ring has been resized. It looks perfect! So glad to finally be able to wear my mom's ring. I will go back. read more

Ethics are questionable. Changes prices upward after doing the work-no notice when one brings in the jewelry! That's certainly not legal. Mr. Le complains the work is hard (changing watch batteries). I surmise he wants the big jobs only and doesn't like changing watch batteries. He cares only about himself, he's #1, not you as the customer-you're last, dead last. His wife I'm sure has learned this years ago. Now, I have a totally different opinion of him than in 2014. The store is most likely going under financially; that's my guess as to the reason for his unwelcoming and strange behavior. read more
