I went there the first time and it was great. However, I, like other reviewers don't appreciate being talked about in English, much less a language I don't understand. And they don't really try to hide that they're commenting on what you're talking to your friends about. Here's what grosses me out. The first time I went they used new pumice stones, files, etc. on each person. The second time they tried to use old ones on us! GROSS!!!!! You HAVE to make sure you request new materials. I decided to give this nail shop one more try, I've been here a few year ago and couldn't recall way I haven't been back. Upon arriving there wasn't a warm welcome, sitting down feeling like my business was not wanted while waiting to be helped. Then after about 15 minutes they asked me to sit down at a nail station, after sitting they had me wait for another 10 minutes before even starting on my nails. I've been to many nail salons so know what a good good looks like. This by far was one of the most disappointing nail session I have had. My nail technician was rude, never had a smile on her face and I had to ask her to keep doing a better job on trimming and prepping my nails. As my nails were being polish the nail color kept going outside onto my skin, very sloppy job! I almost walked out but didn't want to be rude and thought perhaps she'll finish it up nicely- nope I was wrong. I should of been warned when the customer ahead of me complaint that she was unhappy and didn't feel like enough time was slept on her, that customer walked out of the salon unhappy as well. Never coming back here! Another side note was all the nail technicians (about 6 of them) were all speaking to each other loudly in their language the whole time which I found to be extremely unprofessional and rude! The only nail salon I keep coming back to because they have a large variety of regular polish as well as shellac/gel colors and are always able to squeeze me right in no matter how busy they get. As for customer service, I can't complain because I have been going here for years and years, staff are comfortable with me as I am with them, we chit chat in Vietnamese, they multitask as they do my nails (taking personal phone calls), and gossip about pretty much anything/everything lol which I don't mind cos I just listen as they rant. Although that does not bother me, I think that's a bit rude, especially if you're a new client or one that does not speak viet. read more

Okay so after another manicure (a shellac this time) I'm unimpressed with the durability of the polish. After just two weeks I lost two of the nails completely and all of the nails were peeling from the back of the nail causing it to catch on everything. I did enjoy the ambiance of the place and maybe I'll come back for pedicures but so far disappointed by the quality of the shellac manicure. The price is cheap- I think $20 plus tip for the shellac manicure- but it shows in a week's time and becomes obnoxious and painful trying to touch anything (especially your hair). read more

If only I knew they are soooooo talkative.. the ladies didnt shut up for a single second, annoying and disturbing all their client. The lady who attended me, especially did a horrible job, she literally scrubbed for 2 seconds with little to no attention to nails she wasn't focused and talked continuously giving me terrible headache. Whenever I go here, they cut my cuticles back waaay to far and I am in pain. And, for pedicures -- when i leave the bottoms of my feet feel like they are untouched. I would have to go back home and scrub my feet again. I use them ONLY in emergencies for polish. read more

I'm really picky about my nails.. I like them short, natural looking and not too thick. Lisa and Vince are 2 of the friendliest people I've met in Washington. Both are amazing at acrylics and overlays and have been doing my nails for almost a year (since I moved to Washington!). For my birthday, I brought 3 friends in and they absolutely spoiled us and treated us like celebrities. They can also do wraps and gels if you're interested. The pedicures are great for 20 bucks ($25 for French), and they have a ton of chairs to accommodate peak hours. Everyone I've told about this place has been more than satisfied. read more

Good ample parking. Lots of ladies to help you. I had a pedicure done and nothing special. The massage chair needed a little tweaking. It stopped working for a bit. No massage to the calves like I remembered before. And mostly Vietnamese talking within the co workers. read more

Tina is amazing. I've been here many times over the past year and I've waited to post a review. Nearly all of my experiences have been great. There is rarely a wait time if you are a walk-in. Some of the women go out of their way to speak in English and included me in their conversations even though I'm definitely not a regular. Im sorry but I'm shocked somebody who calls themself a professional would let me leave their salon with nails looking like mine. Got an acrylic set, Diana or Dina did not touch my cuticles.. left them as is and with hang nails. 3 nails were noticeably mishapen. Paint job was not great. I wish she had taken the couple of minutes to go over her work... i was really excited to have long nails again and now I'm bummed because I have to try and fix them myself with a file.. it wouldn't be a big deal if the mishapedness was only slight, but it looks really unprofessional:/ read more

This is my last time coming here. They first said 15 min wait but it took them 35 min to call me. The lady who did my nail was not friendly. She couldn't see the cuticles well, I had to just tell her constantly that she missed some and needed to trim here and there... and still she missed a lot! Then she left my hand all oily after a brief "massage". Didn't clean it nor asked me to wash my hand. Then she made my nail to bleed. Instead of cleaning it, she covered it by painting over the dried blood!!! At the end, when I showed her the design she wasn't able to make it. I ended up saying it's ok, I don't want any design. If I could give this place a zero, I would. Honestly I don't take time to write reviews, and I fact prior to this review I have never written a negative review. Typically I wouldn't go back to the business. However I want to tell others what a TERRIBLE experience this was. I had an appointment for a mani/pedi. My nail technician Tina would only address me if she wanted to upsell me on products (shellac, eye brow waxing). Otherwise she would ignore me, get up from her station to socialize with her co-workers. At one point during our appointment she got up and left to use the bathroom but never communicated that to me. Honestly not even sure she washed her hands after she used the restroom. GROSS Then the appointment from hell continued.. She kept asking if I wanted shellac and I told her no several times. Prior to painting my nails she asked for payment and then pointed out the tip line for me to leave a tip. Umm thanks, I know where the line is and I typically tip 20% standardly. Then she proceeded to paint my nails several coats of color (3) in total, then applied the top coat and left me in the chair for over an hour. Durning the manicure Tina doesn't even use nail tools to remove paint from my skin, she uses her acrylic nail to do it, other technicians used tools. She was just lazy. I feel this is unsanitary to say the least. I finally asked if I could goto the dry station to get my nails to dry. I finally left. A few hours later the nails finally dried but it looked like something my 4 year old did and in fact my husband was shocked I paid for this manicure. The paint never really cured and you could move the paint (it would smudge and I could still flatten it on my own). Not good. I decided to go back and have them "fix" this as it was unacceptable. Keep in mind I hate complaining and dislike and avoid conflict. So the owner greets me and says your back, I told her and why I was. She said you should have gotten shellac it's much better for you. Then she gets Tina, yes the very person who brought me back in the first place to "Fix it". Tina then proceeds to scold me on not getting shellac in the first place. She completes the manicure and even charged me for the service. So I leave in disbelief of the experience but the manicure looks good. Well fast forward to day 4, the shellac is starting to lift, by day 6 I can peel the shellac off 8 of my nails. This was a terrible experience, terrible customer service, unsanitary nail practices and they produce a terrible product. I would AVOID this place like the plague. read more

I went there now my Second time the first time was OK it's closer to my House then my usual Spot, well today I went in again since it is closer and the last time was pretty good. Today just awful first the color was completely different then it showed on the color pick they gave you so I had to actually ask wether or not there is another color under it so it will look like the color I wanted ( annoying). Then I felt super rushed No Hand Massage Whats oh ever just a quick slap of cream on my Hand and done Wow oh and then she tried to make me believe that 30 seconds under UV is long enough for Shellac to harden Nope it's not so I had to pretty much myself turn the light back on to harden my Shellac. Annoying again my mood went down. The Top coat well she just made one line in the middle of my Nail no sides or anything. I had to come back after I saw that I seriously had no Top coat on my Nails. I got it hush hush fixed somewhat , my Nails are bumpy and look like I got it done a week ago not just today. Seriously if you don't have time because of an appointment let the customer know about it not justify you have time to do Nails and then rush through it and do a sloppy Job. read more

Awesome place. I've always hated going to nail salons with my wife, it smells nail polish remover!! But since we moved up here to the highlands we've been going to unique nails for the past few years. The owners are really nice and friendly. If you're looking to get a good pedicure make sure you request the older lady, a little rounder then the rest. Or the younger prettier one. Try to avoid the old grinch looking lady she's horrible. Never left a yelp review, but this salon deserves my first. WORST pedicure I've ever had. More than disappointed. Started with cold water, not even warm. I asked the lady to add hot water, she then began to talk in a different language to her friend next to me while ignoring me. Finally added some hot water so my feet weren't freezing. Stopped multiple times to chat to friend, didn't even continue to work on my feet, just stopped to talk. Wasn't helpful in finding a nail polish, ignored me when asking for help, once again while talking to friend. Nail polish job looked so bad that I'm going home to re paint my nails. She put clear polish all over my skin and then told me don't worry about it- it's better that way. I'm actually embarrassed! I hate to give one star, but yelp makes you give at least one star. I have been going here for years and have converted friends who used to go elsewhere. They always do a great job on my pedicures and they remember you when you go there often and are always happy to see you and friendly! I've also had acrylics done there and eyebrow waxing and they always did a good job. My only complaint is that sometimes there is a wait even if you have an appointment but this happens at other nails places as well. read more

Been here a few times and have made an appointment with a friend for pedicures and both times one of us had to wait significantly longer to even start our pedicures than the other. My friend was done and had to wait 45 minutes for me to be done. Pretty annoying - I don't see the point in even making an appointment here. That being said they do a good job - just really wish they didn't waste my time. Maybe next time I'll just come by myself. read more

Worst nail experience ever! I asked for the deluxe pedicure which was $10 more. Nothing different they used a scrub and lotion which to me is a basic pedicure. My toes are already chipping 3 days later. Then when it came to my shellac manicure she painted them in about 2 minutes. Slathered the paint all over. When I told her to fix it she had a terrible attitude and filed the sides and re painted them. Still just as bad. Didn't paint the top of he nails so they are chipping and peeling 3 days later! Great service! Lisa and Vince really caters to Their customers. I've been a regular there ever since I moved up to the Area. Most of the workers do a really good job (pedi massages for 20mins!) I've been going to this nail salon for 10 years or more. I used to always leave with a nice pedi/mani and a complimentary neck/back massage in a professional environment. But, lately, that professionalism has waned. I don't receive quite the quality of man/pedi I used to and it feels sort of 'treat 'em and street 'em'. Yesterday, I reached in my purse for money to pay before my nails were done. I thought I'd brought more cash with me, didn't have enough cash, just card. The Nail Artist actually reached INTO MY PURSE, went through it WITH HER OWN HANDS, and told me "You give me THAT cash as tip" !!!!! WHAT!? I was incensed. Then, because I used my card to pay, she ripped the signed receipt from my hand, looked away disgruntled, and didn't say another word. I realize they're working off their tips, and there's a language barrier. They each have the same phrases mastered "This a beautiful color you choose" etc, but no pedi pariahs or nail nazi's please! read more

I was a long time customer. I never felt comfortable with all the cross talk the ladies did while I was having a pedicure and nails done. I felt ignored and the ladies were somewhat rude. I was impressed with the job done on my nails but for 65.00 dollars I better be happy. My last visit I was left to stand there and wait for almost five minutes before acknowledged. I felt like I was a bother, my services were rushed along the pedicure was done in a very cool water and when I asked to have it heated up, she acted like she did not understand what I was asking. I could tell who the star customers were when they would come in because they would stop working on me and get their star customer comfy start the water for their feet and then come back to me. I called ahead to see if I could just do a walk in but she said it'd be best to set an appointment. Considering it was very close to the holidays it was understandable. Only and hr from the call I made I had that appointment. I got there 5 mins early and waited to be seated for 20 minutes. Then I waited at my chair for another 10 minutes until someone finally came to help me. I didn't understand what the point was to set an appointment if I waited 30mins for my turn. Anyway I got the shellac nails which turned out horrible and poorly did which looked like I my little 3yr old niece could have done it. and got the most horrible back massage which she went under my wool sweater and continued to massage me. I went home and added more bling to my nails which turned out so much better. I believe it depends who you get doing your nails and who you are will determine how your service will be. read more

Should be zero star! Cold water for pedicure had to ask two times to warm it up! Nail specialist was very rude when I did ask a question about the scrub they use. This place was right near my house and it was Mothers Day. They were super busy but fit us in nicely. I had my two girls and we all wanted pedicures. My mom needed a fill. They ran out of hot water but I didn't really mind. The ladies were super friendly and sweet to my kids. Even painted their finger nails for free. My French pedicure was done really nicely too. Not the most luxurious I've ever had but inexpensive and got the job done. My moms fill was done by Lisa and she did a fantastic job. To top it off they gave us flowers for Mother's Day. Went in there for a pedicure with my friend on Saturday. Our spa water was cold, they didn't trim off the dead skin. Hardly scrubbed the bottom and didn't do any cleaning. They did mention in Vietnamese which I'm Vietnamese that " these girls are young and look like party girls which doesn't knows any better" so they literally half ass our pedi. Very judgmental nail techs here. Poor work and my polish isn't smooth. Looks like a 5 year old painted my toes over my previous polish color that they failed to remove completely. read more

Not that great. I used to go here all the time because it was close to my place, clean on inside, they always had time to fit me in, and the lady I usually saw was sweet. After going a couple times with friends to other nail salons I came back for a pedicure and I realized that this place is 1. More expensive. and 2. Not that great. I actually had to go home and re scrub my feet because the tool the lady used on my heels left them rough and un-even. YIKES. I felt rushed too, compared to other salons that let me hang around for a while, this place rushed me out of the pedicure chair before my toes were dry (mind you there was only one other customer) I felt very rushed, and there was still 30 minutes til closing. I got a pedicure here on Saturday and I was very pleased with the results. When I got there, they were extremely busy, but I was in a chair within 20-30 minutes. The business is very clean and they have coffee and water upfront while you wait. Including the wait, I was there about an hour, which is great.
