The place is just off main street and you cannot miss the colorful building. There is also history attached to this location, so be sure to check out the historical marker next to the building. Parking is just behind the place and is free. Or you can find meter parking or park at the library (free) and walk over. The staff are always friendly and offer to gift wrap your purchase. Or they will include gift wrapping materials and you can wrap at home. Such a nice added touch. But I will say this can make the line pretty slow. COVID-19 wise - staff wear masks and guests are expected to wear masks as well. There is a gift for anyone here, even a hard-to-buy dad or brother. The store is sectioned off into type of gifts. Some sections include: Wedding, pets, golf, Michigan, baby, cooking, homemade products like soaps/candles, children toys, and gag gifts to name a few. For example, the glitter deer I admired costs $40. Service could be improved. Most of the sales associates were chatting by the register. No one offered assistance or said hello first. Overall, this is a fun shop for browsing when in downtown Rochester and I will stop by again.

Blocking the entrance were people holding adorable puppies on leash. You knew they were puppies because under virtually all of them were puddles. Young untrained dogs. Perhaps not ready for the grocery store. One door was blocked off, so I had to dodge puddles and affectionate dogs to get in to the store. I'm allergic to furry animals. After retrieving some butter and sour cream from the dairy section, I was able to enjoy one of the dogs dropping a deuce by the pickles. The poor handler was ill equipped. He tried to pick it up with a plastic bag, but without towel or cleaner he left a fecal smudge. The smell was phenomenal. Foul doesn't describe it. I needed spinach, but decided to do without. Ok, I forgot. While walking through the produce section, I dodged a couple puddles and made a beeline to the checkout. Everyone loves puppies, but this was a bad idea.

The middle area had bigger clothes. We did see a stroller and bassinet set. We also saw some baby carriers for $10-15 and they looked brand new. My friend was looking at some of the baby clothes and most prices were between $1-5 per item which wasn't too bad. All of the clothing either looked brand new or very gently used. We did not see any stains on anything. They did have a small section of toys as well. The lady we spoke with at the register was very nice and she was helpful. The store was super clean.

Their Cards are too expensive and I can barely find any Mahogany theme cards. It's so hard to find a card with great inspirational reading inside. You are paying for all that additional glitter, the design on card and not the quality of poetry, poems and writing inside. You find the same thing for less and cheaper at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS and rite aide drugstores.
