How do you give a small business with EXCELLENT customer service less than 5 stars? You don't! The gentleman behind the counter was just that. A gentleman! He gave us a little history on his Hungarian background as he handed us samples of the delicious gelato flavors of the day. All without asking. The staff was super friendly! I'm pretty sure it was the owner. He actually encouraged us to sample all the flavors unlike most businesses that make you feel like you're stealing when you ask to try a flavor. Their flavors change daily but every flavor we tried was delicious. You can't go wrong even if you don't know the menu. My family had the regular cones that they really enjoyed. I got the pastry cone that I thought would be light and fluffy. It wasn't. I'm definitely going back but I'll stick to the regular cones. read more

If I could give more stars I would Decided to take my cousin here and after trying the gelato in chime cake we fell in love Even made a deal that every Friday we will make a trip to get some ice cream. Definitely recommend coming here, you not gonna find anything better than this place read more

What I love about Temecula are all the little eateries sprinkled throughout the city. My husband and I went to this lovely spot for a gelato date. The owner was so nice and let us sample all the flavors and taught us about chimney cakes. We ordered the chimney cone with the elder flower and cheese gelato. Delicious! The gelato was creamy and flavorful without being too sweet. The chimney cone was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfection. In addition to the delicious gelato and chimney cake, there are panini offerings, Italian coffee, and smoothies, which also look yummy. Will definitely come back here with our boys. I want to try the paninis and coffee! read more

Not sure where to begin: the excellent cleanliness of the dinning room, the amazing flavors of the gelato AND chimney cake, the perfect serving sizes or the top notch customer service...everything about this establishment needs a rating of SIX stars! The flavors were, dare I say, unique and delicious! My family and I all chose different flavors but ended up sharing and exchanging just so that we can "have it all"! They rotate their freshly made flavors regularly so it's encouraged to visit frequently to try them all. The chimney cake was made fresh right in front of us and was a perfect pairing (to share) with our gelato. The customer service that we experienced as was of a high quality that I assumed was only because it was our first time but listening to the conversations between other customers (frequent customers) and the gentleman between the bar, it sounds like what we experienced was the norm. We will definitely be coming back! And as a parent...I really appreciate the cleanliness of the bathroom and the coloring books in the dining room :) read more

Incredible is the only word to describe this little place. It's clean, it's fresh, the place is very classy and well thought out. The man behind the counter was genuine and a fantastic host for my wife and I and our kids. My first of many many visits. He had a great selection of Gelato. He said everything is homemade and ingredients from Europe. The proof is in the pudding... or in this case Gelato. Visit once and you'll be a customer for many years to come I assure you. My children wanted to take me out for Gelato because I had never had it before so we went here. I must tell ya they are the best people ever. The history is amazing. It was so nice that they offer so many tasting. They have soooo many flavors that they rotate them daily. I have never ever tasted anything like it and now I'm hooked!!! I sampled a few, cucumber, banana, pineapple, chai... I'm not kidding when I say they tasted as if your eating the fruit or vegetables fresh!!!! I'm still in awe that something could taste like this. Oh my gosh it was so refreshing. I'm still stuck with my basic chocolate and coffee flavor for my final choice today. My daughter in law loves Gelato and said to me it's the best she has personally ever had. They also have sandwiches and this will be the next place I will go for lunch. I can't wait. The gelato is very good here. I had the cheese and amaretto flavor. My boyfriend got the hibiscus and lemon. We will definitely be back for other flavors. Place was very clean and abiding by covid regulations ie patrons wearing masks, social distancing signs and hand sanitizers throughout. Most amazing gelato EVER! Including gelato we've eaten all over Italy and around the world. Unmatchable. Worth every penny! Worth every calorie! Perfect serving size. Owner is amazingly hospitable. Fortunately we got to sample several flavors. Must-try! Would absolutely go out of my way to get a scoop here ANY DAY ANY TIME. I had the chocolate and the honey fig gelato. My husband, the cucumber and lavender. We shared the coconut chimney cake. Amazing!!!!! All of it. 5 stars - I thoroughly enjoyed it and will go out of my way to eat here regularly. 4 stars - I would go out of my way to eat here again. 3 stars - I would go again if I'm in the neighborhood, but I won't go out of my way for it. 2 stars - I would only eat here again if someone else really wanted to and was paying for it. 1 star - I would not eat here again, even if it's free. read more

I have never had such unique ice cream in my life. They make the gelato everyday in store. The flavors were so unique and delicious. We loved the strawberry cheese, cookies and cream and mint orange. The cone was delicious too. They are called chimney cones famous in Hungary. Must visit place for dessert lovers. read more

I am from Indiana and have always wanted to try an authentic Affogato. It was the best thing I have ever tasted in my life! Dropped by here on a Friday evening about an hour before closing time. It's right across the Montessori. You might have to go all the way around JeffGot a small chocolate gelato (kids size) the German cone (plain) and a smoke turkey sandwich. Chocolate gelato was rich in flavor. read more

Was looking for a dessert place after eating in Old Town...and found this GEM of a place! Wow! Owner went out of his way to welcome us and to make sure we tasted EVERY SINGLE FLAVOR :) Each one was better than the last but I settled on the watermelon. You could practically taste the watermelon as it was sliced on a summer day. So delicious! The Blackberry Cabernet was pretty awesome too! The owner is Hungarian but said he learned how to make gelato from his grandfather, who is a Master Gelato maker! You can tell from the quality of the gelato. I also just had to have an Italian Illy coffee and the owner kindly served it in an Illy cup (wish I could buy one of those!). The coffee was simply sublime. This is a little gem in the Mantra Indian Restaurant shopping center and we will definitely be back! read more

This is such a cute little gelato place in Temecula that I didn't even know existed. The gelato here was good, but to me it didn't really taste much different from other gelato places I've been to. It wasn't bad by any means, but it wasn't the best gelato I've ever had either. I got a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of the mango. The chocolate was pretty average and the mango was refreshing. I did love all of the different flavors they had though. Service was awesome. The employee working the day I went was really friendly and gave us tons of samples when he found out it was our first time. I appreciated that a lot. The store also had plenty of hand sanitizer, and everyone was wearing masks, which is very important to me in this COVID world. All things considered, this is a good dessert place. Was craving a churro kind of ice cream and it led me here. It's a little hidden spot which isn't bad but you have to personally know this spot to be coming here. Anyways I go inside it's empty there's no one ahead but a lady sitting in the chair next to the window. Turns out she was the cashier on duty (not sure why she's on her phone doing nothing). Anyways i asked to try a couple flavors for me and my sisters and she was kind of nice about it except made a face after I asked for maybe a third sample? I mean that's why there's samples. Anyways I got two cones and as im paying she says thanks for coming blah blah but she goes and sits back down when im not even done paying. If anything I could have wanted my receipt printed and she wouldn't have known because she just went to go sit back down on her phone. I don't think this whole experience for a first time customer was the greatest. She could've been more attentive, communicative, etc. I feel like the reviews let me down in finding a place with a nice chimney cone because this place SUCKED. Never coming here again read more

Upon entry, the owner did not acknowledge me being there. Bought a smoothie, and asked if I could sample a gelato flavor, and he said rudely that only if I was buying one that I could have a sample. The owner definitely lacks customer service skills. The smoothie was good, however due to his poor attitude, I will not be coming back. The owner lives in fantasy land and does not acknowledge reality. Your customer service skills are the worst I have ever seen. My wife was outside because we have a dog, and your little shop does not allow dogs. That was a good effort to try and judge me buddy, but you failed. Your tone and demeanor had some racist undertones, and a level of disrespect during my visit. You said you do not need customers like me. Is it because of the color of my skin ? I had no attitude, when I was in your shop. I was just shocked that you acted like I was trying to just get free gelato. I was going to sample your gelato so I could come back later in the evening to buy some. However, you sound like you do not like customers or money. Have a nice day read more

That's this place. Not just bad customer services, but unbelievably bad. So bad that it doesn't matter how good the product is, it ruins the whole experience. I want to like this place but after trying several flavors, it's just way too sweet for gelato. The sweetness over powers each bite and gelato should be refreshingly close to the natural flavor of real fruit. Hopefully the owners will ease up on the added sugar. Owners response is condescending and rude, rather than having good customer service and listening to constructive feedback. Another star reduced. read more

Update: I noticed a review below giving just 1 star for this great business - I wanted to point out that that reviewer isn't even from this area. All of their reviews are from businesses in the not-so-greater LA area. I doubt they drove to Temecula just to get some gelato. Can't trust that shady review. What a blessing and gift to find this place while meandering back from Temecula wine country one Sunday afternoon. We were greeted by Csaba Kiss the owner from Hungary. His grandfather taught him how to make gelato. Oh man...oh woman...oh boy...oh girl...oh whatever you identify as...his gelato is "Out of this world!" The strawberry was better than strawberries! He had this "Orange-basil" that was unreal. Better than any amuse bouche I have had in Joel Robuchon's restaurants. The gelato was out of this world. The Chimney cake took me straight to a European cafe with the first bite. We simply had the cinnamon but damn...we devoured it. I hooked up on the Hungarian smoked sausage panini sandwich. Damn! I was so happy when we came here and saw the design. Its not a popular shopping center in Temecula so I honestly wasn't expecting much but it turned out that its pretty cute. Theres a small patio outside with some high bar table chairs and unbrellas for shade. Perfect area to let the kids get loud. We sat inside. Theres only a few tables inside but its a small location in general. Everything was clean and laid out well. The flavor selection is diverse. I wanted to try several but didn't want to seem like a heifer. I ended up with lemon mascarpone, banana, and a whiskey flavor that I can't remember the exact name of. All were delicious and tasted exactly like there ingredients. My kids especially liked the the lemon mascarpone. I didnt completely understand the special they had going on so we ended up with way more gelato than we could finish. The owner was very kind. She didnt rush us to pay right away and was good at helping everyone at once with little wait time. They also serve coffee beverages which I can imagine will be very beneficial to those that work in the area. Smart decision. I tried a sparkling apple drink that was very tastey. The chimney cake we tried was oreo flavor. It was hot, fresh, and airy. We both enjoyed it. Although the concept itself is intriguing, the execution proved somewhat underwhelming. The cone seemed to lack that fresh made quality one might expect, with a texture and flavor reminiscent of a day old pastry. Considering the premium price point, this was somewhat disappointing. As for the ambiance, the place could benefit from a few enhancements. The dim lighting, quiet atmosphere, and absence of fellow customers created an experience that was somewhat awkward and not particularly inviting for a leisurely in store experience. This place is amazing! The owner and creator of all the gelato uses all European ingredients in everything he makes. He rotates the unique homemade flavors each week, so you're bound to try something new each time you visit. The "chimneys" or Hungarian-style cones of baked bread are to DIE for, try one as an ice cream cone or eat it on the side while enjoying some gelato! They come just as they are or rolled in cinnamon sugar (definitely recommend). All gelato fruit flavors are DAIRY FREE, while the creamy flavors are made with 2% milk. This place also has some great looking espresso drinks made with Illy products (Italian espresso). Their are also a variety of other foods/dishes available, as well as smoothies. Y'all need to give her a raise because she is so friendly. I got the small, which comes with 2 scoops, and my boyfriend got the 3 scoop medium. The small was plenty big for me because they're generous with servings. I got the mint chocolate chip and stracciatella, both of which were divine. The mint tasted like the actual herb, not like the processed kind you typically get at ice cream parlors. It was perfect. The stracciatella is also perfect and the best I've had. They're so passionate about their business, the owner Csaba makes the Gelato every day fresh, they offer 16 different unique flavors of Gelato to choose from and they change the flavors ! The Orange basil, Avocado lemon and the Mojito is my favorite so far , we also tried the Hungarian golden glazed Chimney cake ,the texture of the outside is crunchy with a caramelized sugar, but the inside is a soft pastry ,so delicious ! We have been to this place several times and always loved it. Covid-19 has kept us away and we miss d it. We were in the area and were afraid they would be another casualty to Covid. They are kind of away from things to draw you into their little storefront but they are worth it. We were surprised to arrive and see such a crowd but happy to see them doing well. Again their product is amazing and hand made daily. Their story is great to hear and know so ask. They are exactly what the name is, Unique, and we love it. I told her never mind just refund me my entire order because my disabled son has bad social anxiety and I can't stand here while you fix your error. They end up having to call a manager to issue the refund. I tell them, go find her then because I can't keep standing here. They finally called her on the phone and at the same time I see a manager not realizing it's the same one. I tell her to issue my refund. Take in mind, I left the gelato sitting on the counter this whole time because I don't want it. She finally issues the refund but only for the cost of the come. I got extremely upset because I told you when you walked in and your employee should've told you I wanted a full refund. You saw the melting ice cream on the counter. She originally only refunded me for the cone. I explained, she suggested the cone. I paid for it, she forgot it, then thought out was ok to bring me a cone with a hole in the bottom to put my melting gelato in so it could leak all over me. Not acceptable, I'm sorry!
