We were so impressed with everything about Unique Paver Stones, Kellye French and her team! Our 10 year old Connecticut Blue Stone patio in our backyard started lifting, buckling and cracking right through the middle. I called 8 different paver companies to see if they did repairs and not a one would even come out to look at it. Kellye knew right away over the phone that her team could handle it. She was confident, knowledgeable and pleasant. She came out the next day and got us scheduled inside of a week. Once they demoed, they found a PVC pipe had cracked due to the pressure. A previous contractor had laid the concrete bed on top of two PVC cap offs and had not drilled in between this existing patio and blue stone that was added to a couple of years later. They also found some invasive tree roots. Everything was repaired and done properly. The estimate was a 3-day job and they finished in 2 days! The crew was respectful of the property, easy to communicate with and cleaned up the job site at the end of the first day. The contracting process was easy and professional. Absolute studs. Kellye is a savant. As soon as she walked into my front yard, the ideas were flowing. She was visualizing what my yard could look like. How to save money in some spots. Now to spend money in others. She was very responsive. We chatted over Yelp text message many times and she was always available to give me ideas. Unfortunately we weren't able to use her because we did concrete instead of pavers but she's at the top of my list if I can't do the landscaping design and work myself. Cannot recommend this company enough!!!! Our yard, although small, was pretty challenging because it was REALLY uneven. There were a lot of tight corners to work around. The builders had also made this weird concrete that was the width of the door and then just ended abruptly so we were always worried about falling. Kellye's consultation was great. She got an idea of what we wanted and gave her recommendations. Both in things that we should get but also things that she though we should avoid because it wasn't cost-effective. Kellye and her team came in and TRANSFORMED the area. They are so professional. The demo team really levelled out the land and did a great job prepping. As they were installing everything else, I saw the guys out there with levels making sure that our walls were level and the all the water drains correctly. The corners of our steps look SO GOOD. Most companies do that thing where they build across all the way and meet the other edge but they made a DIAGONAL CORNER. It's details like that that REALLY impressed me. read more

We purchased our home a little over a year ago, we found out there was a major flooding of water during the rainy season and needed to get proper drainage along with replacing grass in our yard having two dogs. Kellye came to my house 15 minutes late to her appointment on a Friday afternoon which didn't bother me at all. She said she sent an email to let me know but I told her I didn't get an email. Gave me good suggestions on designing my small backyard. Before she left, I asked if I can get a quote that night or next day. She said, yes. Saturday came, no call nor email from her so I followed up with a phone call to leave her a voicemail and a text in the afternoon, she texted me back and said "I will call you later". Didn't call back, I had to send a text again and then she said quote will be ready Sunday afternoon. It's now Monday and still no response from her. I'm so disappointed with this company. Kellye just wasted my time! Set your expectations with your clients properly. Kellye- I want to respond to the comment that you wrote this afternoon on my Yelp review. First of all, you were the one who called me this morning after reading this Yelp review asking if I can give you another chance when you did not set correct expectations and that it was completely your fault. Hence, why are you pointing fingers to me now? I only agreed to move forward with you since I thought your apology was sincere. You sent me your quote which was almost $3k over Systems Pavers (a company 3x+ bigger than your company). You made suggestions on how to decrease the quote and emailed me an amount $6k less than original, $24k. I did not ask you to do the project for $15k nor even $13k, SO THAT'S A COMPLETE LIE!! I simply told you that my budget was originally $15k but was open to hearing your suggestions to decrease the cost from $30k that you originally quoted. After I received your $24k updated quote, I sent you an email back and said that I decided not to move forward with you. You replied back asking me to update my review on yelp and I responded.
