I know this place is for the fish, but there's a bare minimum expectation on rice quality. And the fish itself was good? Maybe cuz it's the poke and not the omakase (so mixed chopped pieces) but there were pieces that tasted super fresh and delicious and then there were pieces that had so much tendon I couldn't bite through it. The folks there were super nice and friendly especially since I had no idea what to order. Just wish I was more delighted by the meal, especially cuz it was like $18 poke bowl. If you are planning to enjoy an Asian "hotpot" meal at home, this is a great place to pick up the items. Poke bowls, chirashi, cucumbers, seaweed salad. The best Mac salad not too much mayo, it has tangerine slices in it which is a welcome flavor and larger cuts of onion. I crave this... Clam chowder is delicious, creamy, thick, every bite has clams and potatoes etc. I'll need a bowl of this not just a cup next time. Overall, it's out of the way for me to go here but worth the drive and will be back to try their other goodies.

All of the smoked salmon is some of the best I've had in my 15 years living in Seattle. Especially the salmon jerky. I put the smoked fish up there with the best in PNW.
