United Auto Glass service was great, Pauline received my claim from Allstate and she was able to confirm that she received it, she also helped to check if Allstate could approve OEM glass but Allstate stated that only aftermarket since van was older. It was great that she tried to call them. So after confirming no go on OEM (one with toyota logo) she arrange for aftermarket glass (brand was Fuyao which is manufactured in the USA) that met the same specs as OEM glass. At first I arranged for it to be done on Friday but had to call back since my wife said she did not feel safe with the cracked windshield which started to spread toward the driver side. After calling Pauline back she was great at rescheduling for today Wednesday between 10-11am. This morning Lam called before 10am and said he was on his way and would arrive in about 15 to 20 minutes. He was ontime and let me watch him do his work. In less then a hour he was done removing the old windshield and installing the new one. He did a great job and made sure the area was cleaned of all the left over glass and dirt. During install he explained the process and gave good instructions for waiting to remove the tape and washing the car. Lam was very friendly and nice to talk too, he was great at his job. A few weeks ago, a rock hit my windshield and cracked it. Over the past few weeks, the crack kept on getting longer and longer. Ultimately, it was covering 3/4 of my windshield and I really wanted to replace it. I started to do my research on Yelp and asked for quotes on the projects section. I got several quotes back and started to read the reviews of the different businesses. I ultimately chose United Auto Glass because of how commutative they were. I was able to get an appointment a few days ago and Lam, the technician was able to meet me in a Safeway parking lot. He told me it would take about 30 minutes to replace my windshield, so I went to walk around inside Safeway to keep cool. It was sweltering hot outside. After about 30 minutes, he called me and said it was done. I went outside and oh my gosh, the windshield looks absolutely beautiful. The windshield has a lifetime warranty which I really love and driving with the new windshield has been absolutely fantastic. Great service! Daughter broke the rear window (don't ask) on our Volvo wagon on the weekend between Xmas and New Year's. Was worried because the car is 20+ years old with a rear window wiper and the glass had an integrated defroster. Tried S---L---, and they couldn't come out until the next Friday. Fortunately, United Auto Glass was able to find an after-market window and said they could come out the next morning. Lam came on time and did a great job with the glass, sealant, defroster and wiper. He worked efficiently and neatly, so I'd guess he has a lot of experience! Window looks identical to our old one and is made by a company that is also an OEM supplier for BMW. I have a 2013 Kia Soul who's windshield got vandalized. I went through my insurance and filed a claim, but the earliest the glass company could repair it was a week. I then called United Auto Glass at 2894 Aiello Dr, Ste A, San Jose, CA 95111 and talked to a very kind lady named Paula, who told me they could replace it today. She even guided me in transferring the insurance claim to them. (Very Easy) The appointment was to be between 3 to 5 PM. At 1:15 PM I got a call from Mr. Lam who told me he could do it at 2 PM. Sure enough, he arrived on time. One hour later, the old broken windshield was removed and replaced with a brand new one. It was an excellent job and honestly, the new windshield design looked better than the old one. Mr. Lam is a highly trained and experienced technician who knows all about windshield replacement. So United Auto Glass is a small family owned business and based on the way I was treated, they are dedicated to Superior Service and really care about the customer. Since I went through insurance, I only paid my deductible. I did look into the out of pocket purchase cost (No Insurance) and found the price to be an excellent value. A huge thanks to the team at United Auto Glass for replacing a cracked windshield on my BMW. I messaged them on Yelp and Pauline was very quick to respond. After a few questions and pictures of the crack, they went ahead and got me started on a quote for the replacement. Since my car has a HUD and lane detection system, they also included the sensor calibration as well. The pricing was very fair and they broke it down clearly so I knew what I was paying for. I went through my insurance (AAA) and told them that I wanted to go with United Auto Glass. They sent the paperwork over to United and Pauline promptly messaged me on Yelp informing me that they received the paperwork from my insurance. I told her that I would like to get the OEM windshield and she did all the work in contacting my insurance and getting it approved. A few days later, it was approved and the OEM windshield was ordered. Once it arrived, Pauline reached out to me to schedule a date and time. They were able to get me a next day appointment and were okay with coming to my office to get it done. Lam, the serviceman, was extremely professional, courteous, and an overall pleasant person to deal with. He arrived on time, got to work right away, and listened and answered any questions I had. I had told him that I had a dashcam installed and he was able to work around it with no issues at all. It took him around 1 hour to complete the job which was phenomenal. The windshield looked as good as new, my dashcam was in the correct place and working, and the HUD and sensors were all working perfectly. He did an amazing job.
