BAD MATH - TRYING TO PULL FAST ONES - If I could give zero stars I would. This place is an embarrassment to the modern world of car buying and I have reported them to the BBB. I contacted them online and was working with a guy named Matt who the whole way through was less than thrilled to be doing his job. I left that to just a blah personality. Excused him for it as things are weird right now with the pandemic and I don't know his situation or how the industry has been hit. I knew they ran my credit the moment they did. I could not get an answer on it however despite asking at least three times for what I go approved for. They kept glossing over my question. Upon arrival everything seemed fine. Matt suddenly had a personality but as soon as I was committed to working on a deal with him and he visited his finance manager that went away real fast. They tried to tell me that my car wasn't worth anything. Offering me a couple hundred. It is a shit car at this point, sure. However I am smart enough to know I can get $500 for it and they can still make money on it for parts. They tried to tell me 4.5% APR was a great deal. Its average if that. But what do I know. They tried to tell me BAD MATH. A car at 4.5% APR - $700 in taxes - $495 in broker fees - plus the cost of the vehicle DOES NOT EQUAL $320 per month. THIS IS A $8895 dollar car. Can you say shady? So when I got my brother on the phone so that I was able to understand where this math is coming from as I only anticipated that worse case scenario I would pay $200 per month the finance manager tried to tell me there was a law that due to privacy I was not allowed to come into the office on the phone. Basically refusing service to me because I wanted a second opinion. Here's my take on why. He is a man that wants to take advantage of girl he is hoping will not ask questions. That I'm some bimbo walking off the street that will to take whatever deal a poorly dressed red neck will give her. No. To try to take advantage of a woman and then GET FEARFUL that you will be caught is why everyone HATES to go to a car dealership in the first place. I do not recommend supporting this business in any way shape or form. Even if you aren't buying tell every woman in your life to avoid. It is so sad that in 2020 women need escorts to buy a car because of sleezy people like this. Instead of being fair they want to take advantage of the pay gap sex even more to exert their masculinity. called in to see if a car i saw online was available the next day for a test drive. of course when i get there, someone is just finishing a test drive and is also very interested. the car had been sitting on their lot for a more than a few weeks. the other test driver was likely friends with the owner's child, who was my salesperson. considering the timing of that test drive and how the two were talking as loudly as possible about how great the car was, i don't think i'm reaching here... the car i was looking was specifically undesirable for most folks... salesperson/owner's child refused to negotiate price bc conveniently "the usual guy wasn't around that day and isn't picking up the phone. oopsy" (paraphrased) at this point he was basically implying all the negotiation chips are with him, and him only. when i went to pick it up, nothing was fixed. the sales-child didn't xfer plates like i asked. ended up with new ones. more ignoring the customer. fast forward 3 months, i need to mount new tires bc they were worn out very quickly and the car was shaking at speeds less than 50mph... turns out there's two minor bent rims, but just enough to need two new rims. all four were seized onto the car. in addition, i had to remove the stock radio bc it was causing a parasitic drain on the battery. specifically asked them about the radio, too... not a good sales experience and got hosed when i was in a desperate need of a vehicle. the car gets me around as needed, but i certainly over paid for what i got and am pretty dissatisfied with the entire sales experience. they played some classic sales-lizard games on me weeks before i was getting married. i really don't appreciate that. i didn't have many options at the time and just had to let it happen. the only power i have now is to write this review about my experience. don't shop here. read more

Its a shame they even get a star. Im in line w the other reviewers. Auction cars , salvaged titles, shifty financing, and lastly less than average cars. I found same model car, better trim level, lower miles, and better financing rates all for less then United's vehicle. Also they charge roughly 200$ for registry fee (plates) meanwhile I got my plates the same day at the other dealer for 20$. With all the car apps and easy VIN number look ups, places like United can no longer hide vehicle histories.Similar reviews on CarGurus about this dealer. Yelp ... Help! You should think about the 0 star option. I honestly don't have a single thing positive about this dealer and I thinks its irresponsible for me not to warn people before they get into perhaps a 4 year payment with a sub par vehicle. I had several calls with a rep. named Mathias about a truck they had for sale. I specified clearly that I live an hour and 15 minutes away and I need to be sure that this truck has what I needed (an 8ft bed). He said "Yes it has the what you required (an 8ft. bed)". He even took additional photos of the interior (when he was out there he could have check the bed size). I drove up this past weekend to inspect the truck. I would have bought it if it had the 8ft bed. Mathias never checked and wasted 2 1/2 hours of my day (plus gas). I will never do business with them again. read more

A few month's ago I bought a 2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD regular cab truck from united auto group. I needed another truck for my landscape business and this one seemed good, only had 49k miles. Ive put about 3k on it so far. The truck was in good shape for its age, only had a couple minor flaws. But nothing too serious. And no check engine light on. I would buy from this dealer again. The staff was friendly and they worked with me with the paper work, mailing it to me instead of having me come back and fourth, I live about 4 hours away. I use the truck for commercial plowing and sanding, and will be towing equipment in the spring. read more

I would highly recommend staying away from this auto dealership, as they buy cars from auction and make them so they can run for at least 50 miles before driving back to the lot to have them fix it. I bought my car in April 2015, and since then I've had to replace my engine due to a faulty oil light sensor, my main transmission axle, and came to find out that my windshield wiper arms had corroded connections. PLEASE PLEASE stay away from this dealership, the people might be nice and friendly but their cars are awful and deadly. read more
