I purchased a used vehicle back in January with a warranty I was assured was the same coverage a new vehicle had. Their sales team was prompt in getting the sale and financing, as well as delivering and taking care of the registration, but that's where the convenience ended. A few days later, I realized the heated seats didn't work. It wasn't labeled on the sale page and I was assured every used vehicle went through a 'full check'. I called about it, and was bounced to the service department. They said they couldnt do anything without the P&S agreement. The sales team said they would mail everything [Reg, P&S, warranty], and I would have it in a few days. 12 days later, they send just the registration. Over the next few weeks, I was bounced between different people as to who actually had it, who would send it to me, etc etc. I finally spoke to someone who could find it and email it, conveniently after the 30 grace. I brought the car to another dealer who would run the warranty, only to find that the bumper to bumper, that I was assured would cover all electrical and mechanical components wasnt covered. The backend experience of this has been God awful. I cannot for the life of me figure out how this place has above 4 stars. Completely careless team, disorganized, and inconsistent leadership. He determined the spot welds had been wrinkled on the frame. Things were still broken under the hood from the accident. When my husband told the manager and sales man he thought it was unsafe the sales man said, " I am going to feel kinda bad about selling this to someone else knowing all that is wrong with it." Also, the sales man text me at 10 pm on a weeknight telling me how I wasted his time for not responding to him and how I thought he was a flaming pile of dog s*** out on the lawn because i wouldn't respond to him. He ended up texting me 24 times in an hour. He had been drinking. This wasn't the first time this had happened to someone I was told by the manager.

Most dealerships close at 5 on weekdays, so what am I supposed to do? Brian and Tim offered to stay late to meet me on a Monday night--they ended up meeting with me and test driving the car with me for an entire hour after they were scheduled to close for the day. They were completely straight-shooters. Couldn't ask for a more direct negotiation. They took the time to listen to my story and understand my situation (I was unfortunately underwater with my current car and had $3000 of Negative Equity), but they didn't try to take advantage of me. Right up front, they offered me $3000 more for my trade than anybody else did--They basically did all my negotiating for me! In addition, they had priced their car perfectly. They are not a greedy dealership, they truly care about putting their customers in the best cars at the right price. When the Bank was being extremely difficult, Tim fought hard for me to get me a great rate and a great term on a new loan (and my credit is only above average, so I didn't expect him to be able to get me the deal that he did). All in all, I am extremely happy with my experience at Putnam Ford. I will absolutely be looking back to them FIRST when I need my next car. 5-Stars, well-deserved. Congratulations to them.
