If I could give 0 stars, I would. We went there and found a 2024 Jeep for $43,000. I test drove it and then put a deposit down. The next day, the salesman sent me a text stating that he got me approved with the bank. A little while after that, he called me and told me that they had the wrong tag in the Jeep. This Jeep was actually $51,000. They tell me this AFTER they ran my credit and had me approved. They would not honor the price that THEY put on the vehicle. They are scammers. I had my Jeep in for service. There was no communication from the dealership after my car was towed. I had problems with the service staff and they finally fixed my car. A few days after leaving the dealership my check engine light came on. We found the dealer did not put the hose for EVAP solenoid back on. It was hanging loose under the hood of my car. If someone who doesn't know much about cars could find this issue, why didn't their technician see it. Also, he took it off so he should have know to put it back on. Luckily my boyfriend found and fixed the issue. This could have caused damage to my car and it was very unprofessional for them to give me back my car with this hose hanging free. I have taken my car to Putnam Chrysler twice. The first time, they did not top off fluids, which led to coolant fluid, or what was left of it, to coagulate. Second, they did an oil change, "a multipoint inspection", in which my brakes scored in the green, to now one month later having ABSOLUTELY NO BRAKES. I have two small children, and when I called for some sort of resolution, I was met with, "we didn't cause this issue and we're not doing your brakes for free". This service department is less than par, and they are not willing to rectify their mistakes. Additionally, they are NOT CHEAP. It is not worth the money, the headache, the arguments, or your sanity. For the money spent, I ended up having to spend more correcting THEIR MISTAKES. We are human, and mistakes happen, but what matters is the resolution attempts after that. Unfortunately, they are not willing to make good on their shortcomings. I would suggest doing the work yourself, or finding another service department. read more

Service department is the definition of "stealership". Took my Wrangler in to have a Service Bulletin flash done on the PCM. (TSB 18-026-06). Had the dealership tell me that they didn't do the service I asked for. Instead they did a multipoint inspection and found all kinds of unrelated issues that they"needed to fix" before they could do the update. Vehicle left here without the work I requested done, I had to pay $175 for the work I didn't ask to have done, and they broke the locking mechanism on my driver's side door so that it no longer opens. I go online and call up Putnam Chrysler to order some. The guy on the phone was real helpful and said he'll have the mats for me the next day. Cool! So I get a call at 5AM letting me know my mats are ready for pick up. I'm thinking I know auto guys get up early but not this early. I check the number and find out that there is a place called Putnam with a Chrysler dealship!!! I was trying to call the Putnam Dealership in Burlingame, California! LOL So I'm freaking out and call the guy back. He said, "well can I ship them to you?" I said yes and they just arrived at my doorsteps today. All dealerships are not the same. The service department at this dealership is the worst. I have had my vehicle there many many times it's like they don't even try to fix it. Every time I pick it up they told me the same thing "oh we couldn't get it to do it" a couple of times it did it for me as I was leaving the dealership. They are not very customer friendly. Overall, I don't mind taking my car here to be fixed. Their staff in the service department is friendly and they don't try to screw you as obviously as other dealerships do. They accept competitor coupons, which is a plus. As a whole, they've treated me pretty good. They also have a female service writer, which some people would say is a bonus. Personally, I don't care if my service writer is male or female, but I know that makes a difference to a lot of people. Ok, now for the bad part. They don't have loaners. They're attached to an enterprise rent-a-car and if you're going to be without your vehicle for any length of time, that's where they send you. Also, my husband smashed his car pretty well in an accident and it took the body shop 5 weeks to fix it. With no loaner. I understand that some of that was the insurance companies fault because they took long and ordered the wrong part, but a good portion of that was the body shops fault too. I definitely wouldn't have been as put out if they had loaner vehicles. But as far as Jeep dealers go, I'll keep going back. read more

I am on my second jeep renegade. Purchased brand new. Well, this morning the vehicle started to screach very loud. I had a friend who owns a service station and garage drive it, he said it sounds like the brake pads may not be secured properly and it should be a warranty issue. I purchased the jeep in Leominster which is almost an hour away but called this dealership as they are closer. (Also, I didn't purchase here because the sales are beyond aggressive which is not my style) Anyways, the woman who answered my service call was the most unaccommodating person I have ever spoken to. She told me she had nothing until late next week. I told her I was out of town next week and her response was more or less "too bad". NO empathy for my situation, no hold on let me see if we can fit you in, just a straight up too bad. Everything about the service department sucks, from quality control to customer service. The latest with them was the 3 month fight I had with my Jeep. It had a problem burning 2 qts of oil a week, hard shift in the transmission and randomly shutting of while driving. The woman at the front desk I believe her name was Dana always carried an attitude and she fought with me multiple times saying that those motors were designed to burn oil. Common sense says no new car should burn oil especially 2 qts a week, any ASE certified tech will tell you that. Then she tried pinning responsibility on me for any damage to the motor for letting the motor run low on oil instead of any manufactures warranty for an obvious defect. After month 3 they finally scoped the motor after multiple excuses not to and found that all cylinders were scored after I told them that was likely the case because all of these 2.4 motors were having these problems. They weren't offering any loaner while my car was in service to replace the engine and expect me to go without a car. After talking to multiple managers and employees it was clear they were all useless there and I had get rid of the car. Stay AWAY from Putnam Chrysler read more

Love the 2007 toyota and salesman was very polite and attentive. BUT-1. They couldn't find trunk key so it was understood we'd have to buy one ourselves.(they eventually found it and gave it to us.) 2. We DID buy it 'as is', but,come on- THEY COULD HAVE JUST REMINDED US THAT IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AS IS (no warranty) but these things were wrong even before we drove it off lot. The sales people are very friendly but slick. 4.-We initially signed for death insurance but within hours, we didn't want it. Salesperson,"no problem-I'll have Mike take care of it. NO ONE said there'd be a penalty for cancelling.He was aware that we wanted to cancel BEFORE he wrote the death policy. Keep your free wi-fi,tv,food,coffee,lounge,etc. JUST TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS UNTIL THEY ARE SATISFIED! Last Fall we bought another car from a used car lot next door to Putnam Chrysler - They replaced defective key and defective steering rack- NO CHARGE! This place is awful. They did nothing but give us the run around. This is after my wife leased a car from them. We went to buy a vehicle as well for me. They 1st offered me a low ball trade amount for my vehicle. Then the tried to show us a dirty used vehicle. Told them I wasn't impressed and they said let us earn your trust back. They set up an appointment the following week with a salesman (Jim) who said they would be in constant contact. I have only 1 day off during the week so I said its important not to waste time. The salesman gets ahold of me the day before when he tells me to change my appointment time earlier so he could handle us. Long story short he never showed up(Jim)! (Steve) then gives me more run around more down payment, co signer, let's change this that. Nothing. I leave in disgust. My wife not giving up we go through there actual online process. Get a confirmation from their sight with the exact lowball numbers they gave us. Have an exact price and quote only to be told they won't honor that either and want to bleed more $$. I had a very poor experience with this dealership especially with the service department. I brought in an older pickup because I had a check engine code related to the transmission. I brought it in and was quoted $800 to fix it and get it back up to par. The service tech convinced me that I should only fix the problem they diagnosed, a transmission rebuild would be throwing money away. Of course there were more problems after I agreed to pay the 800. I got a call saying now we were up to 1700 in parts and labor. I was assured up and down that this was it it wouldn't jump again. I got a call saying my truck was ready to go. as I pulled in to pick it up they called again saying that they just tested it and the problem was not fixed. eventually I did get it back and 50 miles later the check engine light is back on for the same code. I brought it back and again and told that another $500 would fix it. The price jumped again and all in all I paid 3500$ to have the truck "repaired". I quoted "repaired" because the initial code I brought it in for is still coming up and the check engine light has not gone off. I lost patience with the service and spoke to another manager who told me that I should have taken the money I dumped into my truck and bought a new one from him... it was a disgusting experience and I will never do business with this dealer or dodge ever again. They did make an offer to fix it after I complained though... for more money of course. I could have had the entire transmission rebuilt for the money I paid them to play a guessing game with my vehicle.
