This is now Vachon. I came here for my emissions test. Not one employee had on a mask inside. Please do not come here!

I purchased a used vehicle back in January with a warranty I was assured was the same coverage a new vehicle had. Their sales team was prompt in getting the sale and financing, as well as delivering and taking care of the registration, but that's where the convenience ended. A few days later, I realized the heated seats didn't work. It wasn't labeled on the sale page and I was assured every used vehicle went through a 'full check'. I called about it, and was bounced to the service department. They said they couldnt do anything without the P&S agreement. The sales team said they would mail everything [Reg, P&S, warranty], and I would have it in a few days. 12 days later, they send just the registration. Over the next few weeks, I was bounced between different people as to who actually had it, who would send it to me, etc etc. I finally spoke to someone who could find it and email it, conveniently after the 30 grace. I brought the car to another dealer who would run the warranty, only to find that the bumper to bumper, that I was assured would cover all electrical and mechanical components wasnt covered. The backend experience of this has been God awful. I cannot for the life of me figure out how this place has above 4 stars. Completely careless team, disorganized, and inconsistent leadership. I'll be submitting a report to the BBB.

Steve has an encyclopedic knowledge of the cars and a clear passion for them and his work. Tom, Justin, Wanda and the rest of his team are similarly expert, helpful and pleasant. They ship parts worldwide. Their specialization is so concentrated that they have developed tests and custom equipment to check on and rebuild various components. If you're within driving distance or can transport your car to the northeast corner of Connecticut (a pretty drive if you're in the region), what you'll get is the diagnostic accuracy that comes from decades of servicing one marque of classic car again and again. They've seen it all, repaired it all, will advise on what makes sense, what doesn't, and triage your list of projects. The evaluation of my car was quite complete, Steve took the time to explain the options to me, they tracked down one obscure noise, and performed work the result of which was an engine that purred like a kitten. One of the most interesting aspects of the experience was hearing Steve's perspective on the engineering choices that went into the car. He clearly has thought through how and why certain things were designed certain ways, and has a lot of respect for that engineering. Some people like to "resto-mod" their cars. He has some cautionary tales about how modernizing one element may put unplanned-for stresses on others. He clearly favors having original systems working as designed, and switching to updated approaches with caution and a clear sense of trade-offs. That part of the conversation alone was worth the trip!
