4 1/2 years ago, my Jeep Wrangler was stolen from an apt. garage while my wife and I were in New York celebrating the arrival of our 1st granddaughter. What a disappointing way to end a life's memory vacation...Fortunately, the Jeep was recovered 3 weeks later by the Martinez PD. Needless to say, it turned tragedy into absolute joy. The obvious next step was to invest in a car alarm. My mechanic in San Ramon recommended Ryan @ United Car Stereo and I had the alarm installed. Over the past 4 1/2 years, the alarm has worked near flawlessly, however, recently it began to have trouble reading to/from my phone, although the key fob for the alarm never failed. I consulted with the manufacturer and they recommended I upgrade to a newer model (utilizing 4G v 3G) and offered a very reasonable discounted price. Once it arrived, I set up an appt. for installation with Ryan at United Car Stereo. It was installed in 30 minutes and to my amazement, Ryan said there would be no charge for his work. WHAT?? He told me that if he installs something originally, then any further work needed in the future will be covered by his personal guarantee. Folks, were talking 4 1/2 years later!! How often does that happen in todays marketplace? I should also add that about a year ago Ryan installed a current Blue-Tooth, Apple-Play car stereo into the dash of my wife's 19-yr. old Jeep Liberty. For those who know car stereo jargon, this required going from a single-din to a double-din opening. Fortunately, there is a 3rd party manufacturer that makes a replacement facia-plate to accommodate this change. Again, Ryan had it done in lightening speed and it looks completely stock. Unless you knew that this radio wasn't available 19 years ago, you'd be convinced it is the original OEM (original equipment manufacturer). Great service. I had Ryan order and install a JL Audio Stealthbox for my 2023 Ford Bronco. It provides excellent bass and sounds amazing. I purchased my own amp online and had them install it for me. This shop carries most major brands and can order anything you like. I am glad I spoke with Ben before purchasing anything to narrow down my choices because I was having trouble choosing the right gear. This helped me make the right choice. After the install I used Forscan to remove the EQ (727-01-02 0900) from the HU to unleash my systems full sound potential (this only works for non B/O systems). Wow. I cannot believe how my system sounds now. An absolute huge upgrade over the 6.75" sub on my 2dr base Bronco. I love how you don't lose any cargo space and plus it still looks factory. I asked Ryan to use sound deadening material all around the sub area on the passenger side panel. Ben and Ryan did a first class job on the install and I have zero regrets bringing my vehicle here. You cannot tell the Bronco dash and side panels were ever taken apart. I highly recommend this shop for any professional sound system upgrade. read more

Due to supply chain and cargo off loading issues at ports, stereos are hard to come by and the local shops jack up their prices, even on crappy brands!
