During one of the most difficult chapters of my life--amidst the chaos of COVID--Benchmark Realty stole tens of thousands of dollars from me on not one, but two homes. They feigned concern, even praying alongside me, while systematically robbing me blind behind my back. Their greed and duplicity are unforgivable. To Veterans, here is a critical fact they will never disclose fully: You do NOT have to make a down payment with your VA loan. Closing costs exist but are tightly regulated by the VA, with sellers often covering most expenses through concessions capped at 4% of the loan.
