Told him what I was trying to do and he took me to two metal clamping options to fasten the rack on the bike and even went out to the front to see how they would worked. He gave me tools and cut rubber lining to secure the clamps on the bike and we did it all right in the front of the shop. HUGE help! Thank you again Reuben! The open stock round bins brought a smile on my face as I remembered those bins as a kid going with my grandfather to the hardware store. After hearing this, I approached the owner directly to ask the same question myself and unfortunately received the same condescending attitude. It's also worth noting that there are no prices listed on items, which makes shopping unnecessarily frustrating, and if you need to return anything--unused or opened--good luck. It's disappointing to see workers treated this way, and it explains why there seems to be constant staff turnover. Customer service starts with how employees are respected, and sadly, that's lacking here. Despite the longer commute, I'll be taking my business to the other hardware store on the island moving forward.

Have been on the hunt for specific flowering trees that can tolerate these weather fluctuations. The garden shop has a vast variety of flowering trees I like and purchased at a great value. Again, the staff are always very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about their products. When I realized I had forgotten my Home Depot card, Mary Margaret went above and beyond to retrieve my card information, ensured my birthday coupon was applied, and even escorted us to the front register when her computer wouldn't allow her to complete the purchase without the physical card. In addition, Charles at customer service was just as helpful, and even brought some humor to the experience! This visit was a refreshing change from previous ones, especially given the significant purchase we were making. Tools for the job…read more There's plenty of tool places but sometimes you just want to get in quick and leave. Over here they don't sell paint, furniture, lumber, or BBQ pits. They sell just tools. Items to get the repair, construction, or demolition done. Most of the tools are made in Asia but for the quality and durability of the tools, it's still cheaper than the big boys. Overall five stars. If you know specifically what you want, this is the place. There is a loyalty program. IDK what it does but they got one so might as well sign up.

I wanted to share my experience now that we are done. I could not have asked for more. I am really grateful for all that Nick did for the project in these last three months. The project wasn't trivial because it was a remodel and because the house was over 100 years old. However, Nick was very knowledgeable, exceptionally responsive, and went out of his way several times to find very detailed information to help me choose and spec the right windows and doors. He also spent time shopping around different distributors to balance price, delivery time, and customization. Every time we met, he took action items for the questions that came up and followed up very quickly to close on them. That was tremendously helpful the project schedule and to reduce risk by ensuring we were choosing and speccing the product correctly.
