Went by today to check out the store and see if they were willing to take some shoes I had recently acquired. Place is really clean with a nice selection. I'm normally from LA and typically went to Rif, Coolkicks, etc but felt the pricing here was much more reasonable. My wife had been bugging me for the Dodgers SB Dunks but couldn't find her size at other locations. The person who helped us had mentioned that the SB could run a half size larger and let her try it on. She loved it and had to scoop them up. The cost of the pair kinda hurt me but it was actually slightly cheaper here than other resellers so that helped. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and will for sure be back. 12/2/21 About a month ago I decided to go into this store to consign my shoe. Keep in mind that I have been supporting the United kicks team since the first day of opening which was originally at another location. So straight to the story how the consign works is the shoe stays there for a month on contract and if it sells they make there money and I make my money. If nothing sells then it is what it is. And just to of happen my business partner gets the text saying the shoe was sold. My asking price for the shoe was $500 and lowest asking price was $400. Well according to the United kicks contract it states " Will make every effort to obtain the highest reasonable price" that was failed in this situation! In the sneaker community whenever you try to negotiate it's extremely hard to get a shoe for even $20 off so immediately I found that suspicious. So I walk in and there is a younger guy with curly hair who was extremely professional a1 customer service. So I tell him the situation he says " sorry I wasn't here Dominick was, but you can wait for him he's eating right now ". So I wait for Dominick. Dominick comes in and I explain to him the situation from my end respectfully. Someone who I supported for years and thought was my friend and purchased from seems to tense up and get pressed as if I never met him. I explain to him the story and he says " are you calling me a liar" and Yeah I am basically calling you a liar that the shoe sold for $400 how does the shoe start at $500 and get all the way down to $400? In my world negotiating you start low and work your way up, so your telling me the person who bought the shoe started the negotiation at $300 and worked it's way up to $400? No I refuse that, that didn't happen and that's the shit I'm mad at. After 5 minutes of going back and forth the conversation gets nowhere and dom at this point is just saying " I can't tell you anything " and says " I can't show you any proof or receipt". So I'm supposed to just " accept his trust and believe him". So I decided to end it there and said alright then give me the money and shook his hand. As I shake his hand he goes for an extremely aggressive hand shake thinking he's something. Well if you want to keep your job for a while then fix your customer service! I will rate this a 1 star as of now it will stay that way until other wise. Either then that the store is very nice and clean congrats on the new shop! read more
