Only an hour away was worth the drive down for me. The lot is full of used RVs of all types. I like that they have a no-haggling price clearly visible on every RV in the lot. I don't line being "sold" anything so have a negative attitude towards vehicle salespeople. Fortunately I was met by a salesman who was friendly and he had a very hands off approach. He told me to take as long as I wanted to look through the camper and let him know if I had any questions. I liked what I saw, liked the price, and let him know I was ready to buy. The big drawback of this place, and I can see how it can be very detrimental to those out of the area; they don't inspect or go over an RV they have on the lot until someone pays for it. Then, they will go through and make sure everything is working as advertised. This process can take more than a week so paying and taking delivery is quite delayed. I found this very inconvenient and I live here. I can see how this can also create issues for someone coming out of town to pick up and finding anything out of wack. This process is probably one of the reasons they can offer lower prices but it is also why I think I see so many poor reviews. Most people who have a positive experience don't jump to leave a review and the delay and manner they sell things before they check them out leaves them setup to disappoint a few people. The lot has a used car lot feel and ambiance to it that isn't my favorite but overall the price and experience were both positive for me.

Camped in my RV this week at the SEC baseball tournament. Parkway RV said they repaired everything…read morethat needed repairing. My slide out will not extend or retract all the way. My shower leaks. The black tank indicates 3/4 full after several flushes. The bottom door on my refrigerator will not lock shut. The shower head leaks. There is a broken vent over the control center that they said they would replace but didn't. They gave me a work order that said they repaired all this but they obviously did not. The unit is at Camper World having everything repaired that they said they had repaired. The 90 day warranty is no better than the paper it is written on. They denied to repair my slide out issues. I have contacted Parkway for a possible resolution but as of yet, no response. Beware!

And Johnny and I did not see eye to eye for sure. In fact, I was sure I hated him after just a few minutes, that I left my husband to deal with him, I wanted nothing to do with it. But you know what? I got over it. Johnny is a good guy and in the end, we bought our camper, and he's been great! He took excellent care of us. Go Johnny! There are bad RV dealers across this whole country, and I think if more people that had good experiences posted instead of only the upset angry ones, people might find out that no one company has a monopoly on good or bad service. Yes, there are some smaller mom and pop dealers that could have 5-star reviews, but sometimes smaller dealers are inaccessible to the masses. And if anyone has paid attention to the GROWTH of the RV industry over the past 5 years, you'd realize the there have been hundreds of thousands of RV sold. HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS!! In fact, growth is so explosive that year to date for Towable Travel Trailers alone in 2017 is over 290,000 sold! Are you reading that??? That is from January to August 2017.
