There were 8 in front of me so I had to wait mYbe 15-20 min but the worker was so friendly that you could not help but patiently wait. She was very knowledgeable, helpful and doesn't rush you to figure out your postage stuff. There were people in front of me that did not come prepared (he didn't even have the right address) but she was patient and kindly counseled him lol. This post office gets 5 stars for their customer service. The postal worker was so kind, professional, and knowledgeable. She helped me ship my envelope with DNA testing for the fastest and best price. The line went quick even though it was just one worker at the time. Plaza Midwood can be a pain for parking and doing errands but they have their own parking lot. So super easy access. Thank you postal workers for all your hard work! read more

I ended up buying the priority 2 day shipping, because I wanted to try to get this package in before the start of the new year, ordered December 23, and they did not touch my package until 5 days later, the 28th. USPS has it in their facility, but they just didn't feel like doing their jobs. USPS Tracking had been telling me that it would be delivered by the 30th for 2 whole days, and as soon as it turned the 30th, they delayed my package even further by 3 more days, now I have to wait until January 2 2024, that's 10 days since I had ordered my package, not 2 days, can these people even count? I know it's Christmas time and new years but USPS has been terrible since 1775, so that's really no excuse. USPS can you please do your jobs instead of ignoring packages and being lazy, it's really not that hard. read more

I can't believe I am reviewing a post office but here's the thing...the two women here, as long as you are nice to them, and have your shhhtufff together, are absolutely incredible (you know you're going to the post office, so unless it's some crazy special handling resource, or extra fancy signature required, there is no reason you can't be a good functioning human adult to allow these ladies to do their job quickly and effectively)...rant and PSA over... Must shout out Crystal as well, as she so nice and always recognizes me. and lets me buy a stamp or two HAHA But there is usually always a line, especially during peak hours. I just visited yesterday around 3:00 which I didn't think was too peak, and with it being the holiday shipping season, there were still just 2 of them there. They need the support during the holiday season. read more

Tried to mail a few packages and got the run around from this post office. It's very frustrating to be sent back and forth to multiple places on a wild goose chase only to find out that the individuals working at the post office told you the wrong thing, twice. This is definitely now MY post office. If I'm in need of sending a package, letter, telegram (do they do that?), or picking up something that was oddly sent to this location, I'll be as happy as a clam. The parking is easy as there is a lot and a few spaces on the street. Most folks are coming in to check their mailboxes or to send a quick letter/package. Wow....I rushed to get here after work. I made it at 4:59 the lady must have seen me coming and held the door so I couldn't come in. She argued with me for a minute and by that time it was exactly 5. I pleaded with her because I had 3 Mothers Day cards to send but she shut the door on my face instead and locked it. Never had such a bad experience at a post office. This Post Office can get very busy... especially around lunch time and after 4pm. Best time is in the early morning. Friendly staff and they never rush you if you have a weighed package going out. I use the free priority boxes for shipping and I get my labels online (discounted price), but they only carry the Flat Rate Boxes and Envelopes for regular and express priority at this location. Not only is this post office open until 1 pm on Saturday (which is a win), but Crystal, who works there, is amazing! She knew everyone that came in and was able to talk about and help with their small business shipping, I assume they're regulars. I was sending a complicated set of forms with money orders and a return tracked, overnight envelop and she was so helpful and kind - she walked me through the process and showed me how to fill them out. She does this all the while not holding up the line. It was a great post office experience which I have never said before. read more

I was a in a bit of a hurry and swung by this branch thinking it would be a quick in and out... Well, the line was to the door and there was only one teller. #3 was on her name tag. Despite the line, she was very efficient and very nice. Even knew the couple in front of me on a first name basis.. I didn't know the PO has "regulars" I definitely recommend it for the PM area. I called to see about a package that has been out for delivery since 10/4/2017. I was left on hold for 8 mins and then when I called back I was told to call after 5 pm. I called 10 till 5pm and the line rang busy. The postal service has been declining for a very long time and even ordering items online is getting ridiculous especially if the postal service is delivering your items. read more

Convenient location but not so great if you try to mail things during peak hours. I went in to post things during the holidays and they only had one window open! I wish they had a self-service machine. The plus... They saved me a TON of money. UPS quoted me $131 to send a package for guaranteed Christmas Eve delivery. USPS only charged me $22. read more

This is my go-to post office in Charlotte. It's a nice quiet location across the street from the Harris Teeter in Plaza Midwood. They always have parking spaces in their lot, its never very crowded and the people working here are very pleasant and efficient! read more

Let me qualify my observations by stating that I go to this post office at least five days a week (I am a business owner who only ships USPS). Plus Side: The employees of this facility are the best! It's in a great location and they always are stocked with supplies. Negative: They lease this property and the new landlord has installed Pay For Parking Box, you heard me, PAY TO PARK! The employees told me this person sits in the parking lot just waiting for someone not to pay and will boot your car faster than you can snap a finger. He has also let the property become overrun with trash. I called his office and left a voice mail and told him I did not appreciate having to pay to park and then maneuver around discarded pizza boxes, fast food bags and general trash. I told him he has two days to clean up his property's mess or I will file a report with the city because of his filthy property. Also, this facility needs a self service station, they are always very busy. read more

I showed up at 9:00 am to mail a package, and no one was there *crickets.* I waited around for about 10 min to see if anyone was going to show up, and no one did. I waited around with a few other customers who were equally disappointed. I came back later in the morning to see if anyone decided to show up for their shift. Nope. Way to fail, USPS. read more

This used to be a great post office. For the last several weeks, no matter the day, The dang post office is NOT open at 8am as they should be. NOT at 8:05 nor at 8:20 when I finally drive away angry and disgusted. As a local, and self employed, my time is important. I've been using this PO for years at 8am. Get in and get out. Trying to find my grandson's birthday card that I sent to his prior address by mistake I called this branch and she "lady" was so rude! All she said was "You called the wrong branch." I tried to tell her the Eastway Drive didn't answer the phone and that, after many rings, a message comes on and tells me to "Enter your remote access code." (Obviously, I don't have one.)
