However lately the moral seems down or maybe they just have employees who are providing poor customer service, but I've gotten where I dislike this location but still come here because they carry the best variety of stamps, opened longer than my local office and this is gonna sound horrible, the customer service here is still better than my local post office. On this evening, I overheard one employee talking to a customer in a very snarky tone. Yes I realize that times have changed however you don't have to make someone feel little by saying things to make them feel stupid. Another lady asked a question and was told that she would need to Google the answer to that. I like that this location is open until 10 pm on weekdays, making it very convenient to come for any last minute shipments such as taxes. While it was empty inside when I stopped by on Friday evening, it was still a little unprofessional for the employee to be on a phone call during my entire transaction (before I got there, during and after I left was the same continuous phone conversation) read more

For the parking lot being packed there wasn't very many people there. The line was non existent. There were 2 staff members working but no line. Everything is labeled so there was no mistaking which box went where. I did ask a question about which tape to use that they offer to tape your boxes. The staff was friendly and helpful. read more

This lady named Rhea took care of us, I wouldn't say "care ". I had went to mail my tax information and she was just rude, not being nice at all it takes nothing to be nice. It's my first time actually mailing my tax information so I was a bit clue less and I would have a question she would reply with an attitude like if Im suppose to know. If I could leave a negative star review I would. Fuck this place and everybody who works here! We had not received our mail in about 3 weeks. We were told that due to a loose dog in our neighborhood that our mail lady was scared and didn't want to return to our street to deliver our mail. We came to our local post office to get our mail that was held back and the lady at the counter said they've had issues delivering the mail on our street due to dogs being around and that we'd have to get a P.O. Box which is about $108 a month. They wouldn't give us our mail. The lady at the counter was very rude and said there was nothing she could do about it. We talked to our neighbor and he said he came to the same post office and they gave him his mail. Now idk if the lady at the counter was all on his dick but she didn't have any sympathy for us and gave us no other solution. $108 a month is a lot especially if this wasn't the first time that this has happened to the mail lady. Seems to me like the just want to take people's money and don't give a fuck. This is the worst service I ever had. Fuck this place. read more

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with this post office while trying to get fingerprints done for an FBI background check. The USPS offers this service in conjunction with the FBI at select few post offices, and the email you receive from USPS instructs you to visit during passport hours. Sounds simple, right? Not at all. First of all, the larger post offices that offer this service don't have passport appointments available for over a month, so you're forced to rely on their "walk-in" hours. At this location, that's Tuesday-Thursday from 8:30am to 9:30am. However, they only take the first seven walk-ins. I arrived at 7:30am, hearing that the spots fill up within minutes of the post office opening at 8am. I did everything possible to ensure I was in the right place at the right time, only to be told after standing in line that fingerprints are taken at a completely different time -- 9:30am. Here's where it gets worse: I called this location over a dozen times the day before to confirm the details in the email (as that's what the email suggested), and no one ever answered the phone. Not once! I then resorted to calling the USPS customer service line, which had a 43-minute wait time, just to make sure the information I had was correct. Which the agent confirmed. I went through all of that just to show up and be told conflicting information by the staff. There is absolutely no reason for this level of disorganization and chaos. What's the point of sending an email with instructions if the details are wrong? Why have a local phone number if no one ever picks up? Why make customers spend hours preparing and ensuring a smooth process, only to waste half their morning because the post office can't get its act together? It's frustrating and unprofessional. USPS needs to get its operations in order because the current state of affairs is a disaster. read more

The hours and staff at this USPS location could not be better! Supplies are always available. "Bulk mailers" are always running in & out. If bulk mailing is a part of your livelihood , you go where they know What The H they are doing. Every time I've visited this location, it's been aalllll women running the show. They are THE Most. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE experience ever. I have never encountered such rude people working in the public in my life. They refuse to help customers with even basic things. The male worker refused to scan a QR code a 2nd time to double check for accuracy. I don't understand how something so basic can be refused. He basically told me to print the label and come back and was not nice about it. The employees refused to give me his name and all are rude and act as if customers are a bother to them. Somehow my package arrived to my local USPS post office completely destroyed after leaving the Dallas Distribution USPS. My local post office placed the damaged package and remaining contents they did receive into a plastic bag with an apology message. I was told that the machines will do this to the packages sometimes. Not sure how the postal handler did not notice. Strange that the package was completely destroyed yet the PAPER MECHETE items that did get delivered (Not all were received) were not damaged. One of the most rudest customer service I've ever had the misfortune of experiencing, tried asking the lady up front information about a package pickup mistake and the only thing she said was, "No" and stared at us. Thanks! That really helped me solve my issue, she only directed us to another Post Office that was already closed for the day. Disrespectful and rude, but only if you're WHITE. I went back to this USPS, due to the destination USPS stating I had to go back to the facility from where I sent the package. This package was extremely valuable, carried $15k in insurance, and had not been delivered 2-days ago; which was its scheduled delivery date. I was assisted by Rosalinda at first, and she was actually making a valiant effort to provide less customer service than what a low-level customer service experience would present. I could have passed the dental boards after experiencing her lacking representation of the USPS, due to having to pull teeth to get her to do her job. Then Rhonda told me, not asked me but told me, to come down to her window. Rhonda was a black lady, looking to be in her 60s, and while her interactions with other black customers was served with a smile and pleasantry, she chose to talk at me, smack her hands on her desk, and then clap at me. All this while interrupting me frequently and talking over me. Rhonda even told me there wasn't anything she was going to do, BUT when the next customer came up, who was black, Rhonda was extremely pleasant, took the time to explain everything in great detail, and constantly asked if there was anything more that she could do to assist. This is a highly unacceptable representation for a facet of the US government, and can't imagine how this branch feels it's OK to treat a race in this fashion. My issue has not been resolved, there was no assistance offered, I was told to handle it myself by both of these USPS clerks, and I was belittled and discriminated against. read more

I never used to have problems at this post office- could get this sent/shipped with no issues. However, in the last year or two, almost every encounter I've had here has left me feeling upset when I walk out. I understand post offices are businesses, but 1) offering customers the postage option that costs the most (when there are less expensive alternatives) is not kind. Also, 2) is it really too much of a cost to give a piece of cellar tape to seal an envelope, just because it is being sent regular and not priority mail? There have been some friendly clerks, but 3/5 have seemed to want to get as much money from me as they can, rather than assist in the mailing of letters & goods with happiness. Such a big help that this USPS is open till 10pm M-F 9-8pm on Sat. and 11-6pm on Sun. Counter personnel are very helpful and friendly. And the nighttime view of the Dallas skyline is an extra bonus. read more

Of the post offices I've visited in the area, this is the by far the best one! First and foremost they are open 7 days a week which makes getting to the post office a little easier. On the visits I've made they have had multiple windows open which helped keep line moving. I'm usually in/out of within 10 mins. The staff I've encountered on my visits have all been friendly and helpful. When is the last you time you heard that about a post office? Thankfully this location is closely located to me but even if it wasn't I'd consider making the drive here just because of the convenient hours and great service. read more

Long hours (open until 10pm weekdays), open everyday except holidays (the automatic matching is 24/7), & best part is the staff is SUPER friendly & actually seem to like their jobs. I paid for two day shipping from Texas to new Jersey on 4/28/20 to arrive on 5/1/20 needless to say she did not receive the package. We kept checking tracking for a week and all it said was it was in transit. Exactly one week later it was scanned in thru the ft worth distribution center and sent on its way. On may 7,2020 the package finally arrived MINUS THE MACHINE AND THE OWNERS MANUAL the only thing left in the box was the power cord and a marker. I love this post office. I love that it's downtown, I love that I drive over the Calatrava bridge to get here, and I love looking at Dallas. I used to come here when I would make late night post office runs. It used to be open all night (24/7!!), and I've always been kind of a night owl, so it was super convenient. Then the cutbacks happened, and the hours became more like other post offices' hours. I'll say that the people who work here are a hit or miss. When I've waited in line, I've dealt with some extremely helpful people, and I've also dealt with some flat out rude individuals. I've graduated to buying postage from home and dropping packages in the box inside the post office. It's just way more convenient for me. Decided on this location to go to on my lunch break over a few other closer options in the down town area. I was going to get a money order. Like was short and fairly quick. 1 person in front of me and I was 'called' up within 5 minutes. Very rude lady and kept talking to the lady next to her, never said a word to me, just looked at me after a minute like "what do you need" so I said I need a money order please. I told her the amount and handed her money and she handed me the money order. I've never written one so I asked, "what do I do with this" when she didn't hand me a pen to fill it out with. I figured after paying the fee and everything I would just fill it out really quick and she would mail it for me. She said you need to fill it out and mail it. It's a long story short missing lots of rude details but, all this to say I won't go out of my way to visit this location again.
